A few weeks before DEF CON, I flew back to my hometown for a LAN Party... I had a macbook pro, a dell laptop, a macbook air, a steam deck, a portable LCD monitor, more wires than god intended one man to have, a 65% maechanical keyboard, an iPad, an android phone, and iPhone, air pods, and a camera with two lenses in my carry on tech bag, and they didn't even glance at it for more than a few second, lol.

I went to Defcon last year and it was my first DC ever and unbeknownst to me it was a year of non-electronic badges so I was super bummed about the badge I got last year. This year's badges look so cool. I had no idea what I was doing at Defcon and it was honestly quite overwhelming trying to figure out what to do and where to go. I don't know if I'll ever make it to DC again, but other than your flight back, sounds like a great time and I'm jealous now about all the things.

Oh wow Sas I knew you said it was a nightmare journey back but WTH!!! I'd ask how you're still able to smile after all that but I know exactly why... what an amazing experience Defcon 32 was! Never felt so at home in my life. Oh and yeah one of my best nights was not getting in to mau5 so please don't feel bad at all - had 4 badges and got stopped chatting to so many amazing people because of it in LVCC it was a huge conversation starter usually involving the highlander or me just liking DC four times more or some other nonsense. Brilliant video - as always. And thanks for being an amazing roomie.

Great job summarizing your experience at the con! It was amazing getting to meet you, sorry we couldn't hang out more. Our drive home was two days and I was exhausted -- I watched DC31 videos on the way home since I also skipped the majority of talks except for a few village talks like P00t's talk on antennas and a few other topics I really wanted to see. I'll probably spend a week watching DC32 videos in 3 months. My wife had a great time too -- she got a few locks opened at TOOOL using her lockpick earrings.

NEVER depart Vegas / DEFCON on Sunday. Fly out early Monday, or better Tuesday. Rooms get cheaper (typically), you get to go to the closing ceremony, which is a big deal. If you do DEFCON the right way, you're going to be a waste product for the better part of a week anyway, might as well rest up there and enjoy a day or two on the strip.
