It’s lovely how you take turns cooking. Takes the drudgery out completely. I was a homemaker and cooked every meal, and packed every lunch. That was my job. My dear husband worked so hard as an engineer and my job was to take care of him and the house. It freed us up to spend our weekends together. Miss that smiling face. He died suddenly at barley 56. Losing your life partner is horrid. This is why I so enjoy seeing your happy marriage and you true concern and caring for each other.

Can relate to the miserable weather, which we are again experiencing this week in my part of Australia, though the rain isn't as heavy as previously experienced. I recall the Forest of Boland in your previous episode, a lot of open countryside and such a contrast to the big cities further south. Also the pretty village of Downham, a step back in time without the awful double yellow lines along the roadsides which plague Britain generally. Overlooked by the brooding mass of Pendle Hill, famous for the witches who lived in the area way back in the 17th century.

It may have been a “pretty miserable day” but I found this episode hilarious! I bet it was a “windy” night all round!! Take care guys!

Sorry to say I really enjoyed it and you managed to sound positive and made me laugh as well. I enjoyed the dramatic scenery and your views on McDonalds and like you say they do manage to be open when no one else is. I always annoy my husband as I don't like burgers and if we have to go into one I will only have a fillet of fish which is always cooked fresh which really miffs him off because of the wait. Even when it's really bad you don't tend to give in and go into a hotel I take my hat off to you as I would be chomping at the bit for a bath and warm bed. @LifeistooshortCK2 жыл бұрын
It all depends on how you remove the moisture. So far I have never seen water running down the front screen of its own accord. It can happen though when wiping it off. I use a method of removal that does not cause that problem. So far so good.
