Heph is so overrated!! You need to hit the impossibly high bar of [use trinkets] and [pick up poms] and [have a synergistic build] which is very unusual, I always pick only common boons and only pom my gain boon.

That smell in your laundry when you don’t dry it properly is called mildew. And yes, it is a terrible smell. When that happens, just wash it again in very hot water and pour a cup of baking soda in with it to help get rid of the smell.

My favorite part about Poming Heph attacks is that it's the rare Pom that gets better with more levels and not worse. (Going from 4-3 seconds is better than going from 5-4 seconds between blasts, etc). My favorite build on Xinth has been Heph on Attack and Zeus on Cast/Special, and tossing in some Aphrodite for Heartthrobs. Then get a lot of Zeus for the chain lightning, just wildly powerful the farther you go.

zeus blitz+storm ring is much better imo. especially if you get double strike at decent rarity. i have been doing heph attack and special on Skull. turns out base damage of Omega skull is complete garbage. same for special damage that it is just better to proc blasts than put any other attack/special boon on them. Appolo on cast is easy origination with Furnace blast. Chain reaction can be unlocked by putting Hestia on sprint and you can pick any mana regen boon. Zeus and Hera are great. Niyx can use stamp rush as its dash boon and add some damage here and there.

22:45 omg I thought I was going crazy, did a run recently where I equipped gorgon amulet at the start of Thessaly and she never appeared for the entirety of that region and Olympus

Athena's keepsake only works on region 1. so you have start with Athena keepsake if you want her early on. She also does not appear in Mourning fields for underworld. so you must pick her in region 1, 2 or 4.

I might have missed it but exactly how does nyx aspect interact with hepheatus boons? I thought you were gonna abuse stamp rush and the omega dash to get a super big dash attack but that was an after thought for you. Do you get double the attack blast proc if you trigger the blast while you’re in your nyx buff?

There's no big interaction, which is probably the core "issue" with Heph boons, they kinda don't synergize with most things. None of the Nyx benefits directly assist the Heph boons, just felt like going for him.

That guy didn't need to buy new shoes. They smelled because they got wet and then he worked all day in wet shoes, right? Just spray the shoes with vinegar. The vinegar kills the bacteria that make the smell.
