Fuck DL for hating on Aphelios. Best adc in the game imo. Skill expression and variance is top notch. Actually unique. But its not that hard to understand what he does. I love level 3 invading enemy jg and solo killing enemy at their blue or red buff with severum/crescendum aka red/white guns. I cant tell you how many Viegos Ive killed at their buffs invading. I got M7 Aphelios on 3 accounts in less than a year. Best Aphelios JG NA.

i disagree completely lol. Aphelios is a well designed champ with "depth" and that's not a bad thing. it took me maybe 20 games to "learn" Aphelios. the intricacies of Aphelios (which DL is referring to) is no different than any other champ's intricacies. those things are what allows for skill expression and mastery.

It takes 10 minutes in the practice tool to understand "difficult" characters like Akali or whoever. Now if you meant it took you 20 games to become good at Aphelios, I think you're lying. In plat aphelios has incredibly shit winrate, the lowest, only in challenger is his winrate not complete shit and he has high pick rate there too. Even then, only one trick god aphelios players can maintain a 50% winrate in challenger with him.

Why does sneaky keep ignoring the giant slayer passive on ldr, and the base armor all the tanks in that game had, I've never once felt like collector was the better option over ldr, especially ever since the durability buff, mages have hp on all their items, same for bruisers and obviously tanks, ldr was by far the best choice and sneaky has to be trolling, rfc was somewhat pointless I do agree with that, I wonder if sneaky still takes CDG over cut down

Percent pen is significantly stronger with flat pen, especially against low armor targets. Say the adc has 60 armor, then percent pen is 18. Flat pen adds another 10 on top of that, a 60% increase. The implication in terms of damage is 42 armor = 30% DR but with 10 armor pen on top = 23% DR, meaning collector is essentially a permanent coup de gras. For higher armor targets (~150) the damage increase is about 5% instead, but that's still significant. Giant Slayer is only good in very niche scenarios... most champions because of the durability update naturally get to 3k hp from one item, so builds have shifted more towards res stacking (i.e. frozen heart/thorn mail build), which is also why the long sword, 3 pot, and giant slayer start has been replaced by Doran's blade.

He does actually mention giant slayer in the video. Also cut down is infinitely better than giant slayer, so don't even bother comparing them. In this particular case, a 1.7k hp Draven bought LDR against a 2k hp Lee Sin 2.6k hp Ornn which would be a ~2.25% and a ~6.75% dmg increase from giant slayer respectively, compared to a 5% and a 11% increase Cut Down would give. I'm not gonna bother making the full math for the 30% armor penetration vs 12 lethality+25ad, but the 30% armor penetration is a 10% damage increase against the ~112 armor Ornn while The Collector's lethality is only a 2% increase, while against the ~95 armor Lee Sin the Armor pen is a 6% higher damage increase compared the lethality. That ignores the 54 damage on your Q empowered attack, the extra sheen damage from ER, etc. that you get from the 25 extra ad though, so I have no idea which is actually better. The math would be different on every single champion.

​@@akaliislifeakaliislove5968 Watching from the C9 vs TSM game, the argument was between LDR or RFC, Sneaky was saying RFC was way better but it wasn't. The dragon fight immediately when they were talking about it, the RFC range had no value. In most of the fights, Draven was just getting jumped on by beefy frontlines and mostly hitting and kiting the frontlines, there was no need for the RFC extra range. Apart from base armor increase after durability update, Braum also had Locket aura and his W providing more armor for his team, it was literally the better choice and scaled better this game than RFC. He could also just go for BT into IE instead, since he was so far ahead.

While Collector shines as an alternative crit item on ADCs for the pressure an early serrated dirk offers in laning phase due to base lethality as well as its synergy with Galeforce and utility gold passive plus execute, it is unfortunately still inferior to LDR especially since the durability patch. Regardless, it is a nice Solo Q item on Draven for securing kills versus squishy champions as well as champions that benefit being low hp such as Tryndamere. Mathematically LDR will on average offer 7.7% more Pen than Collector. While Collector offers +25 more bonus AD scaling, post-mitigation calculations still would result in LDR having +22 more damage than Collector per attack/spell. The math for Draven specifically works as follows: Build 1 = [Eclipse, boots, Essence Reaver, Collector]; Q Damage: 105.2 E Damage: 125.4 Auto Attack: 156.3 R Damage: 261 Build 2 = [Eclipse, boots, Essence Reaver, Lord Dominik's Regards]; Q Damage: 116.3 E Damage: 149.9 Auto Attack: 178.2 R Damage: 306.2

11:22 Dhokla gets 100 to zero'd while basically perma stunned as an Ornn with a tank item and 2 armor components (Warden's mail and bramble). There was a slight gap in the CC between Leona ult and Aatrox Q1 because Ssumday had to close the distance with his E. But besides that he could not move the entire time from Seraphine ult and root, in combination with Aatrox dunking on him. It really confuses me why Dhokla went tabs instead of merc treads this game, especially considering his decision to just stack armor after buying his mythic.

Also thought I'd give my take on Warframe since doublelift gave his opinion on it and I don't agree with it. In my opinion the first 100 hour is actually the only time you feel like you have content or a goal to work towards compared to what he thinks where it's a 100 hour sync until the game gets good. The game has absolutely no end game content at all. End game in Warframe is essentially decorating your frames, crafting as much shit as you can to try and reach max level and level up weapons and frames even if you never intend to use them. There's also making your weapons ridiculously op for no reason because 99% of the content will never need that strong of a weapon. After that you basically just have endurance runs which net you absolutely nothing unique or special or worth your time it's basically just a way that people who still enjoy the game even after doing everything to be able to take their frame out and do something. After doing it so many times though it get boring especially once you realize that it's not even hard the ai is still horrendous it's just that their bullets do 1000% damage and their armor is increased by 1000%. So what happens is your locked into op frames who have 99% damage reduction abilities and using abilities that strip 100% armor or status weapons like kuva nukor to prime a bunch of status effects and strip a bit of armor before you go in with a condition overload melee. So if your favorite weapons or frames can't do these things you're SOL. Obviously there's helminth, but that only helps so much for the vast majority of frames. It's generally the step in the right direction but it generally doesn't change a weak frame into an op frame who can do endurance runs. They've actually been focusing a lot on the early game though for that game. It's just intended to be a super grindy game just like rust and (I guess) PoE. I just wish they'd work on improving ai and adding end game content that's actually challenging and tests a player's skill level and not what's the most broken frame and weapons you can use. Something like raids with 1 shot mechanics that can't be mitigated by damage reduction etc. Max mastery rank is like 30~ and I never could get past like 12 because after I finished the main campaign the game became crafting simulator where I wait for shit to craft. I then went and watched some end game players stream and such and talked to some of my friends who have been playing way longer than me and figured out that they basically have nothing to do except endurance runs that only give them materials that they already have thousands and millions of and no longer need. Felt like I was working towards a non existent goal so I only play when I'm in the mood for it.

on the whole Aphelios discussion. I have been an ADC main for a couple years, playing maybe 10 games of ranked a week. I kind of understand Aphelios but have no clue how to make him look strong. That champ just needs above average time played to make him actually useful which actually put me off to actually learn it properly. I rather play my Jinx, cait, ezreal etc.

getting into warframe is pretty easy in my opinion. i used to be pretty into the game back when there were only a few prime characters. and when i tried getting back into it it also felt easy to pick back up until a point. i think once you start getting to the farther planets is when players start to look at things like they are chores and it feels less interesting
