They used to, which is a shame that it slipped into this mess. The age old saying was “if it aint Boeing, I aint going.” But then Boeing acquired McDonnell Douglas and they took over management, and we see how that turned out

In the last 20 years, Boeing seems to have forgotten how to build anything. And that is a shame, because I worked for them on some big projects back then. Boeing used to be an awesome company before the Bean Counters took over. Anyone remember Phil Condit? I do. Since then, Boeing spent more cash on stock buybacks than the entire 787 development program. Think about it.
