It broke bc of the high rpms in shifts. He knows what it is he's a diesel mechanic and a damn good one. He knows what his truck is doing. Just a mistake and he will get back to what he was doing. You got to remember he changed a lot of stuff on it that's why he was doing a rental to see what happend. It's all about data and what u learn from it. Keep doing you Justin love the content brother. Exactly. Most people that comment on here have no friken clue what it takes to make any decent power in diesel engines let alone simply understand what is physically going on inside the engine to make that power. Soooooo many variables to take into consideration. And I’m sure you know this, you can build a diesel engine as crazy overkill and beefy with all the best parts available and you could still kill it at a low power level simply with a bad or fault tune file. Or a faulty injector or sensor out of the box. Shit happens. Justin knows what he’s doing people just don’t understand what’s all taking place

If you have any long stretches of belt between pulleys you may need an idler to keep the belt from slapping at certain rpm speeds . I've seen many trucks consistently throw belts because of harmonic slapping back and forth.

My boosted ls use to throw the secondary belt for the ac if I bounced off the limiter or used the 2 step. It was a green belt. Didn’t matter if it was engaged or not. I put a go pro under there and the tensioner was too weak. It was a brand new tensioner. I switched belt setups to fix it.

You have to add an extra pulley i ran into the same issues throwing belts, DHD sells it I believe called extreme tension pulley

Most likely you need the wagler mechanical tensioner. I would sling a belt on my 2.6 truck every pass until I went to the mechanical tensioner

Yes. Jet A is just #1 diesel (kerosene). It just doesn’t have the lubricant additives that number 2 diesel has.
