How's it misinformation? Icelanders are descended from Norwegian Vikings who discovered Iceland in the 9th century and settled there. This is proven by genetics and history (as well as the fact that Icelandic is almost the exact same as the language the Vikings spoke). Icelandic men are the strongest in the world (look at how many strongman meddles they won with only 150,000 men) and that's due to having Vikings (who had very good strength genetics) stranded on a cold, barren island for a thousand years, where only the strongest of the strong survived.

Vikings were usually between 5’8”-6’3” which for the time put them taller than any other group of people. This was confirmed by a mass grave that was found in Sweden and published “Nature” in 2020 of those findings. They were, on average, several centimetres taller than any other group. Not only that, but through DNA of that mass grave they found as well as in Oslo (Norway) they found that some of the Vikings weighed 287-309 pounds and had high muscle density. A lot of it came from their upbringing (hard labour), their society (trained to fight at a young age) and most importantly their varied diet. Basically, what you did is you spewed some bs on social media stating your position. I thought… there’s no way a lot of the lore is that far off, so I googled. And the first 6 websites I searched said that the average height of a Viking was 5’9” which is taller than almost any other group of that time. This is just a dumb myth, the myth started because people have gotten much taller in the last 150 years. Then they decided to put that statistic to fit the timeline of the vikings. But if you do that then the viking are just a couple of inches. In reality bone remains show that vikings who fought in England were like 5'7.
