100% agree the True Flight is great. i made the mistake starting out with the $$ SOG set that was rough. BUT the Cold Steel throwers are deff worth the $$ to start out with. BTW the GF got me the CS Torpedo for xmass ....that thing is just evil.

You should seen what and how far a throwing knife can penetrate. (Test interesting targets) maybe ballistic gel with/ without certain clothes or what not, anything.

I want to get some ballistic gel but it’s very expensive. I have seen some testing done from Jason Johnson aka Pro Knife Thrower. Heavy throwing knives can wreck about anything

Ive got a fewsets of throwers some cheap good ones, some expensive good ones, and some bad ones. I e gotten so comfortable throwing small knives. I just got a TFT and i keep bouncing it off trees. having an awful time figuring it out

There is a new version since 2020. Do you know about it? The old one was made from 1055 carbon steel and the new one is S50C steel. Is this a downgrade or upgrade? do I have to worry or can I go for it?

I honestly need to check into the upgrade. I love this throwing knife tremendously and I’m gonna go out and check on it. I love this old carbon one.

knives? S50C(JIS) - Borderline high carbon steel, various uses, for knives better suited for large knives, needing good toughness and shock resistance. Very low wear resistance, as there's nothing to form carbides. So it’s better for throwing the 1055 could break and needed to be oven tempered to get the S50C characteristics.
