Me and my best friend were mechanics. We both were non spiritual, we didn't believe in anything like that. We bought an old sawmill and turned it into a massive garage. Something very powerful was there and didn't want us there. It changed my life and completely changed my perspective on everything. I don't suspect it was a demon but it was very hostile and wanted us to leave. The things that happened before my eyes would routinely make the blood drain from my face, and I would just freeze, couldn't move, couldn't breathe. It's amazing how we are so narrow minded at first. I was humbled and shaken to my core by that entity. The place eventually burned just as we had more outside investigations come in unfortunately. Nothing has happened to me in a decade, I wish it would again. It brought me to develop a deep spiritual relationship with a higher power. Really opened my eyes in a beautiful way.💯

Anything you can say moved etc? I have had quite a few experiences throughout my life
@crazyDIYguy8 ай бұрын
@@PaulH-hl5hw One night I was there alone around 11pm working on electrical. I was on the second floor wiring lights. The 2nd was completely wide open, there were no walls or doors. I had completely cleared the 1st and 2nd floor when everybody left, locking all the doors, making sure nobody was anywhere in the building. We had a security system with motion alarms, cameras, door sensors, etc. I armed that on the 1st floor. About 20 minutes after starting my work all hell broke loose on the 1st floor, doors started slamming, (two interior doors were opening and literally slamming on there own repeatedly). The alarm was squawking too, I ran down, disarmed the alarm and everything stopped as soon as I came down. I reviewed the CCTV and saw the doors opening and closing by themselves with nobody there. At that point I knew it was the spirit and I wasn't afraid. I went to the top of the stairs and yelled "I know what you are, but I don't know what you want, please leave me alone so I can work". I then went back to the outside wall and continued working (facing the wall, 2nd floor). Suddenly there was an extremely loud BOOM immediately behind me. It was so loud and intense it felt like the building shook. My heart stopped and the blood drained from my face, I slowly turned around and saw a smashed metal halide parking lot light rocking back and forth on the ground, pieces of it all around. (We had a bunch of lights we stored up there) That thing whatever it was had literally thrown that light against the outside wall behind me. I couldn't move, I couldn't think, I couldn't react, I couldn't breathe. I stared blankly for about 10 minutes, paralyzed with pure fear, and slowly walked to the exit down the stairs. I got in my truck and did about 90mph across town just to make absolutely sure it wasn't "Dave" my partner. He was in the shower when I got there. His exact words were "you look like you've seen a ghost", I told him what happened. Before that incident every night it would stomp back and forth above our heads when we were sitting in the office on the first floor. After awhile we stopped checking the second floor when it would happen, never anything on the cameras either. Also it would always slam doors and one night Dave got touched on the shoulder but nothing too crazy. That night with me was the first time it really manifested incredible power and truly shook me to my core, made me a completely different person. I get emotional now writing about it. Whatever that thing was it changed my life in very good ways, as terrifying as it was. I can only hope other cynical non-believers get the same experience or something similar. (Sorry so long)

@crazyDIYguy thank you so much for your wonderful detailed reply! That spirit seemed very angry..be interesting to learn the history there...I do understand this happens..I have had a few encounters..and also a rattling door..when I was going to bed one night..years ago in a different house...I saw the handle of my bedroom door rattling fast and furiously..and my first worry was someone had broken in..but I am very careful of security never leave windows open and check several times [ I have security issues] also I could see the door wasn't tight closed and no one on other side..I pulled the door open quickly..and all I felt was like a whirlpool on the landing..I shrugged my shoulders and thought well I still have to sleep here..The strange thing was for weeks prior to this I kept smelling old fashioned perfume in the kitchen..so I sniffed my shirts etc..I left there to be washed.. and I never use chemicals..or scents..but it was strong...I had no more incidents in that house the short duration I was there.. Yours was very interesting..I wonder if you will pick up more phenomena.. Paul[England]

thank you for sharing your story! very terrifying. At the end did you have to leave the place? I too believe there's something out there and the paranormal exists. My mom worked as a nurse for many years in one of the biggest hospitals in my country. She never mentioned anything paranormal happened to her except when she got assigned to a particular area in the hospital. That area was many years ago a place for kids affected by polio and eventually it got repurposed. She would tell me stories about the odd things that happened during the night shifts, like weird sounds, things moving on their own, there were even things thrown at her. The place was so haunted that many people didn't want to do night shifts there so management just denied any report saying it was just people imagination.

This is a really fun watch, if not a little one sided. I researched this a lot once and there's more stuff to point towards a hoax than a 'few pranks' like you mentioned. They were caught tampering with evidence multiple times. The son of Bill even said it sounded and talked nothing like his dad, it sounded like a child. Vulgar and childish. It had the same speech patterns and habits of Janet. And they got the date of his death wrong too when talking to 'Bill'. Also them knowing that the guy died is not that hard to debunk - I knew how my neighbour died as a kid, people gossip a lot. I think for me, the thing that always debunked it for me is that the poltergeist smashed everything, everything was fair game to it... except the TV. Cause back then - kids liked TV. Clearly, Janet had a limit to where the chaos could manifest. Even so, you make it so entertaining, I don't mind that I disagree with how you presented the other side of the argument! That's impressive.
@TheTapeLibrary7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your points! Just to explain the one sided thing a little, I come at these stories as though I was telling a ghost story. I generally stick to the story as it was originally reported rather than focusing on trying to debunk. I never include anything that I know to be totally fictionalised but I do take the events at face value just because that’s the style I’m trying to go for. Although saying that, I have been making a bit more of an effort to include a bit more of both sides of the coin in some of the more recent videos. Thanks for the kind words about the video as well!

@wafflekingbasher9886 ... listen I understand your point of view bc I to have dug into this case and while there was a lot of questionable things that point to a hoax but a few things to mention is .... If she was possessed when the interviewer asked her questions then one thing to take note of is that demons can't be trusted... and it could have been a bad demon which was another thing missed in this coverage of it bc..... Towards the end of this investigation Janet pointed out that Bill wasn't the bad demon like every one thought.... They opened the door with the board and so a bad demon was able to get in..... But bill was the one who was actually trying to protect the girl. Something else to be noted is that while people can change their voice to sound like a growl of some sorts but...... If you or anyone can listen to that recording and think that's just a little girl growling and putting on a show then your absolutely nuts bc I have never heard a child master that level . The sound coming from that little girl scared the shit out of me and there's only 1 other place I've heard that before which is.... the little boy possessed in I believe it was England or some shit ..... but his recording was just like this little girl except... he spoke 3 different languages. Now I have never believed in ghost or demons and I kinda still don't bc you never know what's real and what's not but .... I will say that this is the closest to real sounding possession I have ever heard

everyone knows televisions, computer monitors and even phones are black mirrors. they wouldn't dare smash the gateway! however, to make your point more solid, it makes sense that the "activity" stopped while she was away with the nuns. no such tomfoolery would be tolerated there, supernatural or otherwise. what i want to know is if it was a hoax, what prompted such extreme behavior.... using filth to write on walls is next level psychopathy. people don't just trip and fall into level ten crazy unless something happened to them(brain tumors, head injuries, abuse etc). otherwise, normally, there would have been signs earlier on that something was not right. something besides mere tapping and tossing objects and goofing off in front of a camera. sort of reminds me of those girls who photographed fairies, decades before this incident. so many people WANT to believe in these things that they will justify anything. I have personally witnessed strange occurrences and supernatural beings, but i was both very young and all alone when they happened. when i tried to talk about it no one believed me, worse... they thought it was funny. i remember how it upset me at the time, it was as insulting as telling me i was making up stories after saying something like "I saw a bird in a tree." i didn't understand why the adults didn't believe me when they believed me in other areas. these weren't "supernatural occurrences' because i had absolutely no context for supernatural occurrences. they were simply occurrences. i didn't know the word for elf... i only knew "little brown man in a tree"... i didn't know the word for demon. i only knew "scary mean man hiding in the kitchen".. and i was too shy to be doing silly things for attention. as a result, i never spoke to them about it again. i also avoided the kitchen and the edges of the woods unless i was with other people.

My experience was different as I had a near full apparition. I ran a car repair shop for many years, and had often heard footsteps on the part wooden floor whilst there on my own-former employees used to visit from time to time and often relayed similar experiences from when they worked there dating back several years. On this particular afternoon, having said goodbye to my staff, I locked the exterior door as was my routine because we obviously had cash on site and went to wash my hands. As I was washing, I became aware of somebody behind me, and turning around, not four feet from me was a middle aged man peering around the doorway at me with the whole of his upper body plainly visible. I immediately felt annoyance that a customer had entered whilst we were closed so turned back around to dry my hands (not a word was spoken by either of us)-at this point it suddenly occurred to me that all doors were locked! I called out and searched the building and checked all doors-still locked. He never appeared again though the footsteps and knocking sounds continued on a regular basis.

Always amazes me when I see people from all over talking about the Enfield Poltergeist. I was born in Enfield and lived there from 1987 to 2014. In the 90's I had a friend who lived at the top end of Green Street so was often in the area. Everyone knew the stories about the haunting and when we would go out to play down the street we would always run as quick as possible past that house, laughng and joking about how the ghost would get us if we stopped and refused to use the crossing outside... kids being kids we had our superstitions that something would happen if we crossed the road there. Funnily enough, if you look on google maps now days, the house is blured out! It never used to be so I'm guessing the current owners don't like the publicity that comes with that house!

What sunk this story for me was the chronology. Janet channelled Bill Wilkins (not Watkins) a previous occupant of the house. Bill Wilkins certainly did live and die in the house but not a very long time before. In fact, he was the previous tenant before the Hodgsons. Peggy Hodgsons brother lived next door and had done for many years. He must have known or known of Bill Wilkins. It seems very likely, then, that Janet knew the name Bill Wilkins and knew he had died in the house. It's almost always suggested that Wilkins lived in the house some time before and Janet couldn't have known that, but that simply isn't the case.

Just stumbled across this video as it turned up in my recommended list, and after watching this video you just got a new subscriber. I love the way you have put all the information together and your storytelling is very pleasant to listen to. I have seen a lot of so called paranormal channels which actually started off very well but have turned into a circus now, actually making content now just to reel in viewers but not respecting the locations any more where they film. Also their content is very repetitive, every film the same old same old ghost hunting cliches..I am still in the middle when it comes to believing in paranormal entities, ghosts, apparitions and what not but I slowly turned from a sceptic into more of a believer. I see I have enough to catch up on this channel! 🤩

@GordonHouston-Smith I will tell you of my experience with the ouja board. In the 1970s, id say I was around 6-8, I woke up one Sunday morning and saw the street full of police cars. I lived in bootle, Liverpool at the time. It turns out that a baby (Antony Lybert) had been murdered by his mother. The only connection I had to the poor baby, was my elder brother would mind him now and then. A few years later, I'd say I was around 12-13, a few friends and myself were playing the ouja board. Suddenly it spelt out Antony, the exact way I spell my name. I thought it was one of my mates messing around, then my blood ran cold as it added Lybert to it. We had since moved, and only I knew of that poor soul. I took my finger of the glass, and the lads continued to play. It then started spelling out, my mother killed me, why did I die, why did I die... this was done at speed. One friend spun the glass, then picked it up and blew in it, and ended the session. That was 40 odd years ago, and even now, my blood has ran cold by reciting that story.

I had never believed in ghoests etc, until i spent a few months staying with a friend in a basement flat in an old house in Liverpool. When I was a kid one of our neighbors died in her house and my mother and the woman's daughter-in-law were cleaning there one afternoon. I walked over and knocked on the screen door, which was locked. Both of them came to the door with spooked looks and white faces. They asked me if I was playing pranks on them - I was confused and said no. They told me that a few minutes earlier they had heard the screen door slam. They called out but nobody answered so they went to look and didn't see anybody. It couldn't have been the wind or another person because the screen was latched from the inside. Later on a family moved into the house - the family knew nothing about the previous occupant or what happened to her. They told me that things would be out of place on a regular basis and they would hear various sounds in parts of the house when nobody else was there. They had a small daughter and her mother told me that one night she heard their bedroom door open and then close. She thought maybe it was her daughter so she got up and went to look and found her in bed with her covers wrapped around her exactly as they were when she went to bed. There was nobody else in the house and no way her daughter could have tucked the bedding around herself in the same way. My own mother died years later in the home I grew up in and the first time I took my six year old into the house she said "something feels weird in here." And it had felt weird to me too but I didn't say anything until she mentioned it. It wasn't a bad feeling, just felt off. My mother died long before my daughter was born and she didn't know my mother died in that house. Really makes you wonder about things!

I lived in a house where we had a poltergeist. I was 13. It wasn’t terrifying but it was highly disconcerting. These things are very real. I’m not sure about this actual case, but I think it’s fascinating, and the sheer number of outside people affected, the police for example, indicate something very weird was happening. We seriously know very very little but humans need to feel we’re in charge, so sceptics will never stray far from their precious “solid evidence”. I doubt the rest of existence feels it’s that important to prove itself to us.
