Courier Six (the player) before the events of FO:NV helped deliver mail and packages to The Divide's community. Ulysses liked the community in The Divide and wanted to live there and settle down. Courier Six was hired to carry a mysterious package through The Divide (before The Divide was all blown to hell). Inside the package was the wireless launch key for the dozens of nuclear missiles under Hopeville and Ashton. When the Courier brought the key into town, the missiles detonated underground. The resulting explosions turned The Divide into what is seen in the Lonesome Road DLC. Somehow Ulysses figured this out (I don't remember how or even if the game explains how), but that is why Ulysses is mad at Courier Six because Six Courier was carrying the wireless key that blew up Ulysses new home.

Your character delivered a package to the divide that set off a few nukes there before the game takes place.
@moxxiiscarlett71413 ай бұрын
Hes generally the guy who blames the messenger/mailman. Regardless of the fact that your job was purely to deliver packages, or that you had zero clue that there was an actual LIVE nuke in The Divide, he still blames you for Hopeville's fate. Both when you delivered the package, and when you accidentally launched that Nuke. Forget the fact that you were literally a mailman doing his job or that you had good reason to assume the control lever would open the door, he will still blame you. It's kinda obvious that, while Ulysses has his points, hes definitely gone mad.

Your character blew up the divide for some mysterious reason, which you can either deny or ask how he knows it was you basically.
