They wouldn't consider archaeological search sacrilegious. Why would they? Under what grounds? If you talk to them, they'll tell you that archeology is backing up their book. For instance, they think that they found proof that the Hebrew were slaves in Egypt. They'll tell you the flood is in all of these ancient records, because it happened. I'm not a Christian and yet I haven't seen any archeology that would overturn biblical writings. This creator you refer to was written about much later to clean up the true history of the Canaanite and Israelite people. We have texts in the form of letters from 7th century CE in Israelite temples at Elepantine. The priests in Jerusalem were allowing things forbidden in the later Deuteronomy. Hezekiah and Josiah made the religion monotheistic and rewrote the texts to make it appear as though Abraham, Moses and such were devout monotheistic Yahwists. Other temples found in Sinai have Yahweh and Asherah being worshipped together. For several decades, I've been reading scholarship on ancient culture, philology, Judeo-Christian history, Biblical studies, religious parallels, mythological traditions, astrotheology, etc. The evidence keeps piling up and it is overturning centuries and millennia of orthodox dogma and conventional thought. As far as I can tell, it's not clear there is a single thing that is ultimately original and unique to the Abrahamic religions, maybe not even the character 'Abraham'. Judaism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Manichaeanism, and Islam all developed out of, borrowed from, and were syncretized with diverse other influences closely surrounding them. This is absolutely undeniable at this point, and yet fundamentalist-controlled Biblical studies has been hopelessly trying to hold back the tide. Ancient Jews didn't even recognize themselves as a single people or necessarily always identify separately from other people. Various Semitic, Semitic-influenced, and Semitic-like people were spread out over vast regions; and they mixed freely without clear demarcations. One Jewish scholar went so far to assert that there wouldn't have been a way to absolutely determine who was and was not a Jew in the ancient world. This kind of understanding, though, isn't exactly new. Even in the ancient world, Christian apologists were already forced to admit that so much in Christianity was identical to other contemporary and prior religions. And by early modernity, Biblical studies had advanced to this same admission, among many French thinkers and those like Thomas Paine. Plus, there is the influences from Greco-Roman philosophy: Neoplatonic exegesis, Stoic natural law and liberty of soul, etc.

No, I don't think there was 'plagiarism'. Its a mistake to think like that. Abraham came from the very area, where these other legends were known. He brought with him on his journey into Canaan, to the land he was promised, these descriptions. That would be very natural, its simply a continuation of the same type of descriptive legend that he grew up with. That's nothing to do with plagiarism because he owned these descriptions and he just continued them from where he grew up in Ur, Sumeria. However, there is a profound difference in the story of Genesis, first in the fact that Abraham believed in one God - monotheism, and secondly in the profound message and meaning of Genesis, Adam and Eve and the garden - which describes the human condition and the future of humanity that has chosen its own way leading to its own destruction - nuclear arms that can destroy the very creation itself and no hope beyond death...only a miserable grave.

So far I have found the idea was the corner stone of the Ebionites belief, the Thomasine Christians, but also Clement of Alexandria‘s belief. It's simple. According to the author of Genesis, creation took place about 2500 years before their time. If the Genesis creation story is true, then you would certainly expect to discover many variations of the story even before Genesis was written. Therfore, previous legends that are similar to the latter account of Genesis do not necessarily conclude that Genesis is borrowed or just another copy cat legend. The fact that there are corroborating stories only reinforces the likelihood that the overall story of creation is true.

The second decan of Libra is Falcon,...and almost all of the historically famous time pieces and time keepers are born in that time, as was the gregorian calendar which is purposefully designed to confuse people away from natural time cycles. The Gnostics say that Aeon Sophia (abundant, fruitful, productive, wise) had a "twin sister" described as her opposite (dry, arid, barren, rocky, unproductive, desolate). Sounds like the Earth without any water. The Man fashioned from clay initially could not even stand up and was lifeless. There are 2 lores which state Sophia had to breath into the Man & also that Eve had to breath into Adam to animate him.

The name Adam refers to the color red and more specifically blood. It also has the meaning of a vessel/body, or more abstract: matter. I think the idea of soil is derived from this notion and not the other way around. So Adam can be read as flesh (red matter of the body) and I think it means alive / the living (one).

They found the flood silt form a flooding Euphrates river of circa 2900 BC. The flood silt was no more than two feet deep. Shuruppak existed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC when it was destroyed by war and forever abandoned. Gilgamesh (ca. 2700 BC) sought out Utnapishtim, who was granted immortal life for saving the seed of animal-kind and man-kind from a complete annihilation in the world-wide flood waters. Recast as Noah's Flood in the Bible, which dates it ca, 2400 BC. Shuruppak was resettled shortly after the Euphrates flood of 2900 BC.and later destroyed in war by 2000 BC.

Theology's most dangerous idea: "There is no such thing as an unknowable truth. Anyone can possess knowledge of truths that appear impossible to possess by intransigently pretending and insisting they possess knowledge of them." What knowledge do theists insist I should pretend to possess? 1. Should I pretend to know that an undetectable supernatural realm exists inhabited by undetectable, all-powerful, immortal, thinking agents, monitoring every human thought and act, justly entitled to micromanage every aspect of human existence? 2. Should I pretend to know that I have a special intimate personal relationship with the supernatural realm that telepathically endows me with knowledge of unknowable divine truths, to tap into the mind of their God, to know what it thinks and wants? 3. Should I pretend to know that when our ancient ancestors created their religions and wrote their holy books, they did not include in them any imaginary narratives, things that they were pretending to know but in reality, they could not possibly know? 4. Or should I resist the temptation to pretend to possess knowledge I cannot possibly access and instead accept the substantive realities of the observable world?

I am a little puzzled that you didn't include the Sumerian stories of Enki and how he created the humans. First he created a type of worker for the gold mines (most probably in Africa) but they were non-reproducing. His younger half brother, Enlil was intrigued and wanted some to care for his garden. There was rivalry between the two because Enki's mother was a consort and Enlil's mother was Anu's wife. Enki was older though and had watched his younger brother get the lion's share of attention and awards. So he decided to play a trick on his brother and delivered to him a pair of humans who were capable of reproduction. Now Enki is linked to the Capricorn symbol his sages wore fishskin mantles. He is also linked to snakes. He checks on the two humans in the garden after they have been given to Enlil. In the Sumerian tale he does not take the form of a snake, he is just there talking to them. Enlil has told them that the Tree of Knowledge is the Tree of Death and not to eat of it. Enki laughs and tells them that Enlil has lied, that they will not die if they eat. So they eat and their minds expand and they discover their sexuality. Enlil is pissed because apparently the humans are screamers because he can't get any sleep for the sound of humans getting it on. Because of course children are born and grow and marry until they are everywhere and Enlil decides to send plagues and drought to lessen their numbers but it is still not enough and then he decides to drown them all. Then the Story bridges into the Flood Story.

I haven't even watched half of the video but I feel the need to comment! Excellent so far! Fills in some blanks for me. The garden story in Genesis is preceded by another middle eastern story that's similar, and I can't remember from which tradition is came but it too had supernatural beings guarding its entrance. These were gardens in either Babylonia or Persia and were 'king's gardens', a place where the king and his family could relax and reconnect with nature and which had caretakers who tended to the garden (like Adam and Eve, who could eat of any fruit they wanted), and these gardens were also a symbol of the king's power since water had to be diverted to make them grow and only the ruling class had the financial means to divert a resource like water. These gardens, like the Garden of Eden, were also guarded at their gates to keep enemies of the king out, so to be expelled from the Garden (of Eden) meant you were no longer in the king's favor. Derek, I believe I picked this up from one of your shows with either Kip Davis or the other guy who often appears with Kip on your show (sorry, so many names, so little time)! Either way, the story in the bible is not unique nor original to the Jews...

My best understanding of the "man from clay" theory came from zechariah Sitchin's THE LOST BOOK OF ENKI. The traditional genetic work of mixing egg and sperm by the Anunnaki was performed in crystal vessels before in vitro fertilization by teams of birthing mothers. However, on Earth, seeking a viable mixture of a native forest creature's egg and Enki's own essence to create a worker race showed to be ineffective, bringing the process to be performed within, not a crystal vessel, but a clay vessel fired from Earth clay. This modification of vessels was the answer they were hoping for and progress was rapid from that point on. Man from clay. -- Texas

So you are saying that these "God's" of old made human beings in dirty clay jars and it worked but when they tried it in clean crystal jars or glass jars it didn't work at all??? Wow that's why Lucifer broke into the Garden of Eden for!!! He needed Jehovah Yahweh to kick Adam out of the garden of Eden and place him on earth prison planet 1 for disobedience. Why, you ask? Because Lucifer needed Adam's dirty DNA 🧬 to build his hybrid Army of monsters, he planned to use them to fight Michael and his Glory Warriors of Heaven. Because his criminal band of fallen Angels were too small a group to defeat Heavens Glory Warriors. Lucifer had already given it a try and lost, which got him thrown onto the prison planet called Earth. Yeah! That's right I said that this planet is a prison planet full of disobeying failures of Jehovah Yahweh's creative attempts to make life in the cosmos. It's the only thing that makes sense. Lucifer wants out of this small cramped cell of a planet. That's why his demons keep trying to put a hole 🕳️ in the firmament up above us. No one has ever gone anywhere except to the moon 🌝 and they were told to get off and never return. That's why they blew up the rocket 🚀 we sent up with common citizens in it, they couldn't allow that to happen. NASA is a great big Ponzi scheme to get money from the common citizens taxes for doing nothing but making a Hollywood movie seem virtual or real. The Moon is a space station built-in to the firmament of our planet and is manned by Giant Angels 😇 placed there by Jehovah Yahweh to watch over the inmates of his prison planet. Basically the Moon is the guard shack full of Giants who make Goliath look like a toddler next to their true height.

My mom's church taught that the people he joined were basically his nieces and nephews, and maybe multiple generations had passed by the time Cain slew Abel. After all, the Bible doesn't say this event happened when Cain and Abel were rebellious teens or anything. They could have been hundreds of years old, their siblings could have been great-great-great-grandparents at this point. Then there's my dad's theory (not a fundamentalist like my mom) which is that God made many "Adams" all around the world, and this is why so many creation stories exist in areas that would have been cut off before the end of the last Ice Age, and while there are similarities, they are anything but identical. My mom also believed the universe was only 7000 years old, yet believed her Native American ancestors came over across the Bering Strait during the last Ice Age... 20,000 years ago. Obviously, there's some timeline issues there, which she simply ignored and chose to somehow believe both are true. Yeah... I never quite understood that level of mental gymnastics. Then one day, her church reversed policies out of nowhere, "A billion years to man is but a day to God," and suddenly the universe really could be billions of years old, humans really could have been around for tens of thousands of years, dinosaurs really did exist, every single member of her church who would have died on the hill of a "7000 year old universe" INSTANTLY switched gears without any sort of debate with the leader, declaring it was "food given at the proper time" and lauding the leadership for being so wise as to figure this "mystery" out... and I realized her "church" was actually a cult.

The "CLAY" in the ancient stories is " KI" which The Elohim or Annunaki called the earth. Which was translated to "CLAY" by some , and "DUST" by others. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. It refers to the hominems / beings that were here on Earth ( possibly Denisovians). The ancient stone tablets also refers to them as " the black headed people". As the Annunaki beings where called " shining ones / Nacosh, and depicted in statues made of white porcelain with blue lapis lazuli stones to show they were blue eyed. Whereas the " black-headed people " had brown eyes and hair. This Is also shown in the birth of Noah story, where his father Lamech went and asked his father in law if the child was his because his hair was "white as wool and when he opened his eyes he lit up the whole room". This refered to platinum blond and blue eyed. So the made of " clay" meant made of earth.

Now the Grey/Greens at the DUMB near Dulce New Mexico doing the Cattle Mutilations and making ADRENOCHROME from children's hormonal extract. Next manifested was the Reptilian and Insectoid races on different planets. All of these have telepathic abilities. Earth was originally a Reptilian planet. At this point in time the one-thousand Michael's and mates incarnated for 300,000 years each time upon the moving system Nemesis/Nibiru by orders from the Prime Creator to spread the Human genome upon many planets. This then enabled created spirits to Re-incarnated through different body's. Eventually reaching the human stage and then hearing about a coming day of judgement. On that special day Only the Male stands before his own accumulated Akashic record and not the accompanying seven fee-Males. If found worthy (75%+) then all eight receive Eternal life and a planet to begin to raise-up their own baby spirits through the re-incarnation process until they reach their day of judgement upon which the same happens and the best move up! In this way the Prime Creator is REPLICATING itself in time.

And 2. there was a Sumerian figure named Tagtug, a man who was king to whom Enki revealed the secrets of wisdom to him and Tagtug became a gardener of the gods in Dilmun. His particular myth was told in a tablet discovered at Nippur in the early 1900s. Parts of his story are similar to Noah, while other parts are similar to Adam, as he was allowed to eat of any plant but was forbidden to eat the fruit of the Cassia tree.

Dama=Adama in Spanish means woman! The Eridu Genesis claims that a woman Adamma was created first! That woman through DNA manipulation had 7 daughters then the Gods impregnated them and 7 males were born, and so on! That's where we get the story of the seven sisters!

More than a generation ago, at school we heard about the origins of the Genesis in Mesopotamian mythology and that Eden was potentially a real location, a pleasant land on an island in the Euphrates river or on its shores. Our Christian theology teacher, an ordained priest, referred to these stories as myths of the ancient Jews. In fact, the Saints often called them 'myths'. It is only in western Christianity that these myths are perceived as some kind of divine revelation.

As a Christian the information in this video fascinates me. I would like to show you how I interpret it all. The ancient civilizations mentioned to have books that share many parallels with the Bible all date back to the beginnings of human civilization. They were all from Mesopotamia. They all had very similar stories about a great flood, a garden with cool trees, and deities such as the serpent and gods. To me, this all just gives more proof that the Book of Genesis is historical. If all the earliest peoples shared common stories, they must have come from a common ancestor. This ancestor would have been Noah. Noah and his family were set apart by God and were the only survivors of the flood. The stories of the garden and the serpent which occurred before the flood would have of course been passed down by Noah to his sons, whose descendants created the early civilizations mentioned in this video. --------- An argument given in this video to denounce the author of Genesis is that he copied the books of earlier peoples. The author of Genesis was Moses. Moses was of the nation of Israel. Israel was founded by Abraham. Abraham came from Ur, he was originally a Chaldean. God called him out of his homeland and promised to make Abraham into a great nation. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. This is how Israel came to be. The book of Genesis was written over 400 years after Abraham, when God divinely inspired Moses to write it along with the next four books that follow it in the Bible. It’s not that Moses copied the earlier books but rather the earlier books had much accuracy in their historical events, although sadly over embellishing the stories and straying away from the true creator God. If you read this I would like to ask you something. Why is it that since all of the earliest civilizations share similar stories with the ones found in the Bible, does it have to mean that the Bible is myth. To me, it shows that they really did come from Adam and Eve and that the events of the Bible are historical.

You missed a huge point, that these writings existed before the Bible was written. So how were they passed down from Bible stories?

The theme of evil being something outside of the control of a creator deity, but that will one day be vanquished, is a central theme of Zoroastrianism. Which like Judaism, was the result of a monotheistic reinterpretation of an earlier polytheistic one. It is always fascinating to try to see what is on the horizon of the known. Good job.

For 1 adam and eve was not the first people if you read and pay attention to the book of creation it literally says that the creator made men and women (plural) and told them to be fruitful and multiply. Being fruitful and multiply doesn't that mean to mate and create children? Then it breaks down to 1 person the creator made and placed him in this garden. Now lets use some common sense and think about the fact that he never says ANYTHING to adam about not eating off of the two trees correct? Nothing was said in the newer bibles about not eating from trees until after eve was created 🤔. So if you read a bible from the 1800s and/ or a bible from the early 1900s it NEVER says ANYTHING about not eating from two trees EVER instead It talks about adam being in the garden for a while and becoming lonely and the creator notice that adam is lonely and bored so he put adam to sleep takes a rib from adam and creates Eve. I'm pausing from the story for a second because I have to explain something that people look over all because it is intentionally is looked over to misguide us and to push the lie we have been taught! But if adam rib was used to create eve means they have the same blood type and could give bone marrow if a transplant was needed and the ONLY way bone marrow can be transplanted it would have to come from a family member............ Which means Eve WAS NOT created to be adams wife which the bible never says eve was created to be his wife nor lover but was created to be a companion. They were brother and sister because what purpose would he need to create her from a rib when he can create life from clay? Now back to the story..... So after eve was created he tells them that they can not partake of the fruit which if you paid attention to the creator telling the men and women to be FRUITFUL and multiply so telling them to not partake of the fruit means they was not supposed to mate and have children and why is that? Because they was family and not mates! So one day eve is roaming the garden when something calls her name she follows the sound and come across the angel Gabriel (originally it wasn't a snake) and Gabriel BEGUILED now beguiled means to flirtatiously talk to someone to get them excited for sex. So they partake of the fruit and eve loved it and goes to adam and says that he should do what she did and partake of the fruit and she beguiles adam and they partake of the fruit so on e they do so adam and eve notice that adam cant look at eve and not show that they have done what the creator told them not to do (they became sexually aware of the body and adam looking at eve would make him erect when it didn't before so adam thought to grab leaves and cover up his erectness and vover up eves body so it wont cause him to be excited and when the creator show up they became afraid because they knew the creator would know what they did because they are covered now and the creator told them that they would have to die...... The creator was furious about what happened and was upset that adam didnt tell eve to not communicate with the angels (i forgot to say something about that before) so instead of ending them because it wasnt really their fault he makes them leave the garden to be bound together and THEN he cursed Gabriel to become a serpent!

Why Gabriel (and not Satan/Heylel/Azazel/Beelzebub/some other known fallen angel/principality) when he’s never been described as such and is in fact a righteous angel according to the Canon - the 66 books (not sure about about his backstory in other apocryphal/pseudepigrapha’s works)? Mostly everything else resonated with me except you just replace Gabriel’s name with Satan or some other higher ranked evil spirit.

Why not speak with the angles? ….wouldn’t it ultimately fall upon - dare I say, the creators responsibility to make sure it’s known and wouldn’t forget to mention not speaking to ‘strangers’ (angles) and how would Adam/Eve even KNOW what SIN equates to= death if they’ve no experience with it at all nor sexually - and why STILL let them procreate after the fact !? I’d separate them, like different time out this is your half of the garden and patiently wait to see if perhaps an actual mate would be presented and never ever be alone with sis/bro and to not speak of it ever type of thing? After a long talking to : like education… n such..???

@Madamefyness Very well said. This was the 1st version I learned growing up in Puerto Rico. They have changed and (I think purposefully ) many of the text completely from what I remember. I began studying many of the texts mentioned in the video back in the mid-90s. I honestly believe all Abrahamic and other Old World religions still practiced today are the remnants of nephilim worship. The Israelite yhwh started as a minor cannanite storm god (like the Norse Thor). It then evolved into the israelite god of creation, then the Christian god of creation.

In the legends of the Jews, one of the plants Adam took from Eden was the Crocus Sativus. The Golden Fruit of the tree, by the way, is almost certainly Saffron. Yes, the Crocus does not grow on a tree, but note that Mustard also does not come from a tree... See the root of the Semitic z-h-b root, which is related to the Semitic word for yellow, as in the Yellow Heifer of Gaon, which is derived from the Semitic word for Saffron, which is derived from the Sumerian Azubir, which is a homograph of HURSAG, as in NINHURSAG, who was certainly associated in some way with all of the later deities of Mothers and Childbirth in the minds of those educated scribes of the Ancient Near East who attested this lineage of knowledge until around 300 ce. I guarantee that Ninhursag did not just leave the knowledge base of the scribes in the 3,000 years of her presence in the scribal pantheon. It was the destruction of the scribal schools that buried a lot of these relationships. The Crocus and its Saffron is all over the place in Judaism and Christianity. It seems like a few generations of Iconoclasts destroyed a lot of the early suppositions of the Semites and Christians. A cover-up is apparent. Just see the Aluma mosaic. Note that the corner motifs are the same vesica piscis of Christianity, and the same design on numerous Levantine depictions of the Pillar Capitals of the Second Temple, as well as the horns (in Hebrew a thread of saffron is a q-r-n, a horn) of the rosette of the Magdala Stone, but they have bound it up in the Aluma mosaic (note that k-r-k in the Semitic languages refers to rolls, scrolls, and bound things, as well as fortresses, as in the Krak des Chevaliers) in the mosaic, and in the circle, there is a cross with two birds (probably sparrows) eating two of three threads of Saffron at the top of the crucis (yeah), where the threads emerge from the cross at the point of the intersection of two overlapped circles, by which method the Equilateral Triangle is derived by which process the rosette is created... It's a language game. What does Saffron have to do with anything, though? I have a pretty good idea. See the Saffron robes of Eos > Eostare > Easter. See the Krokos (see the Greek word for yolk) of a Saffron Robed Easter Egg. Language games. It's like bending reality, but reality doesn't need to be bent, as it is already bound by language and a chain of referents to something someone once called the foundation of the World. It's more like a rolling away of a false reality, a g-l-l, a 𒄬(ḫal, "roll") of the Heavens like a s-p-r (see the ceiling of Rosslyn Chapel to see the Heavens roll up like s-p-r... lol... language game), or like the rolling away of a of one Mountain and the dividing (𒄬) of another. This is the scandal of the Church of Mary Magdalene at Rennes-le-Chateau: Sauniere set the Crocus at the center of the Crucis.
