I can main IG like this. I will never let anyone convince me IG is mid anymore. I was playing Bow pretty much the entire Rise playthrough, tried my good ole reliable IG against Malzeno and just obliterated it.

Dunno if you're looking for a breakdown but the dive attack gets its attack boosted each time you bounce off the monster with aerial attacks, I think it stacks up to 3 times so you kinda just spam the piercing attack then dive.

I absolutely hate what they turned insect glaive into. Making its most powerful moves revolve around the most unsafe spot in the game is just awful. I give props to those who can do this and do it reliably because I get smacked around in the air like a God dammed volley ball when trying it and playing this weapon the old school way is just chipping away at a glacier with a toothpick.

Yeah, I preferred a lot more when going airborne was a way to make openings, I don't enjoy at all having to basically give up the entire moveset I've played for years just to spam the same 2 moves in the air :/ This is in general a problem I have with Sunbreak tbh, I feel like your damage depends a lot on spamming the same 1 or 2 new moves, I could just suck up the low dps and play my own way but when doing level 200+ investigations the difference in dps feels way too much :/

Nope, they are possible within the game and follow the Speedrun leaderboards rules on augments (even though this isn't a Speedrun, just a showcase)
