I vaguely remember during the duel where he won Jinzo, Joey tricked whats-his-nutz by having skull dice and graceful dice next to each other. Fake psychic was shouting at Joey that he couldn't use the same card again. Since they were different, Joey proved his opponent a fraud.

@@RedDragonForce2 In the Japanese version he did, because Graceful Dice and Skull Dice were both Spell Cards, unlike in the English dub where Skull Dice was edited to be a Trap Card (I think, it's been a while since I've seen that episode in the dub). That was how Joey figured out Espa Roba getting outside help. He may not have meant to trick him, but he did.

The Battle City arc was to tie in the new Advanced OCG Ruleset (what would be the standard rules by the time Yu-Gi-Oh made it to the west) that was coming to tournaments.

MST can cause cards to "Resolve without Effect", it doesn't negate them. Also I saw on Master Duel Player 2 went to Battle then went to activate Evenly Matched, Player 1 used MST to destroy the Evenly Matched, which then made Player 1 Banish Face Down their entire field instead of being able to keep a single card. lol

I've always wondered why the TCG won't just let you activate QP spells if you set them during that turn? I get that it makes them technically stronger, but I can't think of a single time in an actual game where it's mattered.

Battle city was what got me into the card game. Duelist kingdom was just a good watch but I wasn't interested in the game at that point.

i've seen a lot of people still believe MST negates, playing duel links i see a ton of players activate MST in response to poly and stuff like that, now mind you, they might just be clicking buttons and not paying attention, but it's still funny
