yaaaas queen! I already thought she was probably lesbian or at least bi when she took to chance of her arranged husband dying young to then not marry again. it would have been politically difficult for her to never marry (her family would have hated her for it), but as a widow, remarrying was optional and not remarrying was considered honorable, probably keeping her relationship to her in-laws closer, which also served her own family well.

@@MTClassicMovieChannel The entry into the capital on January the 6th was led by BLM and antifa members disguised as Trump supporters. The Trump supporters were trying to stop them and yelling "this is not us this is antifa". There are videos of this. There are also videos of the police opening the barricades to let people through. This was all by design. That's why they keep using the word "insurrectionists". President Donald Trump told Nancy Pelosi to beef up security but she did not want to do that because she wants to paint Trump supporters as these "insurrectionists". I also got a Marie Antionette hairstyle for a party and it took a very long time for her to do and I had to sleep with that hairstyle and that wasn't easy but I had much fun being MA for a day wearing a beautiful dress to go with the hair:)

For one thing, Lamballe was a high-ranking Freemason. The Masons engineered the French Revolution, so it's highly unlikely they would've ever done harm to one of their own like the Savoyard princess. Also, there are ample discrepancies in the accounts about her death. No one is certain of what exactly took place at the time. And finally, her burial place is unknown. It is hard to say where she's buried. These factors suggest that the whole thing was faked.

French and British were ancient enemies. The last alliance between the two countries ended in the English civil war. The US french Indian war and Europe's seven year was about who controlled the north American continent. Its really interesting to think if those wars went differently US would be under french influence not English. It also forced Spain out of control of north America and instead focused on central and south america. This is why history is a complicated butterfly effect of a subject.

@@luissantiago8446 Rather than the age per se, it depended a lot on the overall circumstances. Marie Antoinette's sister became queen at 16, even sooner than Marie Antoinette, and had the same shallow education as her sister's. But then she was smarter and was Queen at the informal court of Naples, capital of a Puppet-State of Spain (the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily). Marie Antoinette was sent at 14 to the most rigid and formal court of Europe, and despite she was only Dauphine and not Queen back then, she still was the highest ranking woman at court, and she had suddenly to sustain a burden she was not prepared for. She did even well, considering all the odds. Re: marxist history, you would surprised to know that until the first half of XX century, Marie Antoinette was romanticized a lot and had a lot of sympathy among the general public. She was considered naive, but also a romantic figure, and an ambassadress of French luxury and refinement. The disruption of her myth became a thing mainly with the anti-French propaganda which started in the US in the aftermath of the II World War.

How awful she should have stayed in England. That was insane her going back during the riots. I don't understand how people can do things like that to another person and feel okay with themselves afterwards. I don't understand how they can bring themselves to commit such atrocities at all. People do do those things though. They did then and still do to this day. People who do things like that are just dumb beasts and monsters.

@starmessenger 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, the brutality was in the waiting. The actual death couldn't have been easier. You know how they say you can't dream of dying and then wake up? Well, they're wrong. I had a lucid dream where I was a figure in France, having just been guillotined. I found myself on a green grassy hill, watching the process from a distance. A man was next. I don't know who we were, but it was probably around the time of the French Revolution, based on our appearance. I called out to the man, knowing how terrified he was, and wanted so desperately to tell him not to be afraid. "It doesn't hurt!" I yelled. (Not that he could hear me, in the physical realm). It was so beautiful where I was, and I felt euphoric. There was no pain. One second I was feeling off-the-charts fear, and the next second I'm in bliss. .. I knew the dream was of a past life, so I wasn't surprised when two different clairvoyant mediums brought it up in later years. Evidently, my execution was due to something I wrote, that they didn't appreciate. Luckily, death was instantaneous and painless.

To her lout of a husband and to her family by marriage. Her return to stand by her friend in need, even with death assured, described a caring, kind and thoughtful person. The madness that France lost itself within for a period, was brutal and cruel. Sadly, this has not ever changed. Bless her soul. You’ve done such a superb job! Be proud ! Thank you... :)

Some accounts say that her head was hacked off and taken to a nearby hairdresser so that her famous curls could be restored for one last appearance. It was then put on a spike and paraded to the prison where Marie Antoinette was being held. The mob chanted for the Queen to come to her window. Which she did. At the same moment the pike was raised so the Queen was brought face to face with the head of her murdered friend. The Queen gasped in horror and fainted dead away as the mob yelled with delight. It was said that one ghastly woman in the crowd sported the princesses pubic hair under her nose as a moustache.

Perhaps if you were one of those opressed "evil bastards", you and your family were dying of starvation and you reached a point of no return you would've think differently. Perhaps if you were told to "eat cake" by the queen as a solution for your children going hungry, you would've hit a certain level of resentment. They had a lot to gain and very little to lose. Aristocracy didn't give a shit about peasants and their exploitation and they had it coming. It's very simplistic to look at that situation through a modern lens but things were very different then. If the revolution failed the people involved in it would face terrible punishment (along with their families) so they had very little choice left. There was a vastly different justice system for aristocracy and the pleb and the laws were set against working masses rendering them voiceless and powerless. You have constitution and your rights you take for granted but they didn't and their king didn't agree for their constitution demand desperate to hold on to absolute power. His arrogance and greed caused the revolution and death to many.

Indeed, in that short trial she was asked to support the Revolution and basically turn her side to the Queen or be executed on the place. Was asked to “Swear to Liberty and Equality, and hatred of the King and Queen.' and according of the transcription of that “trial” responded: 'Readily to the former; but I cannot to the latter: it is not in my heart.' She just reduced to betrayal her friend knowing what was happening and that there was a mob brutally killing those who refused to betray the royals. In my opinion in her case it was less about Republic and more about friendship she couldn’t just betray her friend. And even if she did something tells me she would have been executed anyway maybe not right in that moment but still her days were counted given that apparently she received a fake letter from the Queen just to bring her back to France and execute her. When she briefly reunited with the Queen, Marie Antoinette was shocked and scared to see her as she didn’t ask her to come and knew how dangerous it was. The young princess who by that time still was. It separated from her mother said that when the guards told Marie Antoinette that a mob was displaying her best friend head on a pick just above her window she saw her mother lose her composure for the first time who fainted and gladly was unable to see what was done to Princess Lambelle.
