I've noticed peri-meno and 40+ women's health becoming a booming market on social media the last year or so. I'm glad it's being talked about more, especially by 40+ female doctors, endocrinologists, physiotherapists and nutritionists who have such valuable knowledge to share. As you say, many doctors traditionally wrote us off at this age and it's not good enough anymore. It's such a big part of our lives, if content creators share everything else (TTC, pregnancy, child-rearing) then it makes sense to keep sharing as it's just as relevant. We shouldn't be keeping normal issues a secret, we can share and support one another

Thank you for the beige comments. I just find it hard to believe so many people are in love with beige and gray. Or are planning to sell their house in the near future. If you love it, by all means, use it. But, I gotta say, I'm not a beige kinda gal. God didn't create a beige world. I'm so thankful for all the beautiful colors and I want to surround myself with them. It's like some evil force is trying to grayscale our lives and tell us we like it😂

I am totally interested in Unmentional Monday. So true, the older I get, I noticed when I was 40 with a 1 yr old that the medical people treated me as old. Now, each year, yep is still the same. As far as what colors to wear.. I've been doing Carol Tuttle's dressing according to your primary energy type for over a decade. It's a pretty brilliant system and is very grounding. Some people shy away from it because they think, how can you put me in a box as far as my energy type? As humans, we have all four energies in us. It's impossible to not have all 4.. but we each tend to primarily lead with one. One is typically more dominant than the others. A great book is The Child Whisperer.

LOVE “unmentionable monday.” You are entering the world that I have lived in for over 10 years now… But it takes on a whole new level after age 50! The medical system hates us. I say that an an RN and a PHN. my friends, and I all suffer in silence all day, being forced to sit through meetings, while a hot flash can turn our insides into an inferno. Doctors simply don’t find the time to talk about the complicated subject of HRT.

OmG, YES!! I just need this - for me its instructional… i have no real clue about what is cool, hip, here & now! No joke, I hate to shop, and I need somebody with me to let me know what would be cute… Things I would never even consider that they pick out works out for me. Same goes with decorating. My home is not even decorated. I just put in what I could afford and what was given me. an RN in California is close to poverty line. I LOVE these videos!!
