I’m a multiple planet and positions Aqua myself, my daughter has her moon in Aquarius, conjunct to Uranus! At 13 she just cut herself emotionally from us. There was no apparent reason. Outside and inside trauma issued. It took 10 years for this cycle to be completed. She is back to herself and us now, but boy, it did hurt! She is the strongest person I know, brilliant, brave, a true empath, and out to save the world.

Oddly, I felt understood when she stated that. Because I was separated from my family at a young age, the construct of familial relationship and traditions just seems so foreign. I didn’t have a bad childhood, I just have a hard time connecting with family memories but remember events to great detail if that makes sense. Like core memories and such. And it seems strange to others that I don’t have a desire for that life. The idea of marriage, children, and a house never appealed to me. I want to discover and learn new things and that is what makes me feel fulfilled.

For an aquarius moon who always detach myself away from emotions, your last part of the video made me melancholy. Im an Aries with Aquarius moon and I experienced “losing memory” from my childhood. This whole time I thought, I had brain damage🤕 I’m confused how can I forget most of my childhood, even though as a lawyer I can memorize a lot of books and foreign terms easily. @@SoulNavigation yes, I do have some old photos of me and my grandma while we’re on our vacation in Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta, etc. My family says I am closest to my grandmother and she often talks to me like I am an adult. Sadly, I can't remember any of it. People who used to work for my grandmother knew she was a strict and reserved person, therefore some people were shocked when my grandma was so close to me. My grandma rarely even talks to her children. Sometimes I wish she was still alive and holding my hands like in the old pictures. I read a quote once "the thing about feelings is that you can know why they are happening and even understand them, but that still doesn't get you out of feeling them" I'm an aquarius moon and aquarius ascendant 24 years old.. I've hated my mother for the longest time because of how busy she's always been(she's a doctor) .. And was never really there when I needed her, which caused me to be soo emotionally independent. The first thought i have in any difficult situation is that I'll figure it out on my own. As a kid I didn't get it, but now I do, it wasn't her fault that she wasn't there, it's just that her profession demanded the sacrifice and I get it and I'm sooo proud of her for making it. The thing is when you accept and acknowledge the hurt, it gives you the freedom of NOT acting out of the childhood conditioning and that is liberating.

Wow…..yes I agree, as a child, I came from an abusive childhood, in fact my back was broken….I have had to have many surgeries, more than 30 none of which was cosmetic. I was drawn to astrology to try and get some understanding as I find that when you understand why something happened, somehow the deep emotional hurt lessens. I forgave my father and found peace

My husband has Aquarian moon. He is 53. Everything you said is so spot on. He's very loyal but, doesn't want my emotions, lol. He is very forward thinking and gutsy. He always comes to me and says, " I have an idea". If he doesn't know how to do something, he researches it and does it without hesitation. He's also all about "justice" Everyone doing their part. About 36yrs, he changed careers and started his own company and has become very successful. Also, he had to detach from father as a small boy. My dad and mom pastors of church who have money and nice home me a atheist lesbian who lives in a tiny barn in the woods with my dog and used a bucket for a bathroom for six months while building . I am a Scorpio moon. My beautiful toddler daughter is an Aquarius Moon. Hi Meredith. Firstly, thank you for creating amazing quality videos, I feel like I am learning a lot! Everything that you shared in the latter half of the video really hit home. I’m an Aquarius Moon and feel it has been a real curse. I emotionally detatched from my family out of sheer survival at young age (my realtionship with my mother was particulary toxic), and feel my journey through life subsequently has been that of the lone wolf. I’m hugely independent and self-sufficient, but it is also incredibly lonely at times. I am empathic and interested in others and have wonderful friends, and while my friendships are very important to me, an intimate partnership has so far evaded me and I simply don’t know how to attract one. I also really resonated with what another person has said here - pregnancy is something that I have deliberately avoided, and have never wanted for myself. Thank you for your passion and generosity in sharing high quality astrology content so that we can all learn how to master the psychological drivers in our own charts.

Im a 24 yr old guy who’s an Aquarius sun, moon, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus. This was very accurate for me. To add, I feel i love and crave intimacy. I’m seeing this guy right now, who’s an Aries sun, libra moon. (Idk the rest of his chart). When we are intimate, he can easily take me out of my mind and into the moment. Which is a very very difficult thing to do. I think that’s why I’m starting to catch feelings for him. Even though we Aquarian’s are SO scared of being hurt, I am at least, We crave genuine connection. (Almost in a Pisces way, but maybe not as emotional.) But that type of connection that’s pure and visceral. Almost animalistic in a sense. I think the word for it is RAW. Raw connection, and TRUST. I VERY rarely open up to people on a visceral level. Yeah, I can relate. Sun sign Capricorn in the 10th house conjunct my moon in Aquarius in the 11th house, Venus in Pisces rising in the 12th house. I often feel like I’m being pulled in many directions with all those strong aspects. But I definitely feel detached from others and have since I was a child. I was betrayed by my closest relatives on a really deep level one too many times so I focus on my chosen family, but I keep my distance emotionally more often than not. It’s like I’m happy to be emotionally shared with, but I have a really hard time sharing my own emotions with anyone. It’s easier to focus on others instead of myself.

The way you described our detachment was the best I’ve heard so far. And how you said we watch ourselves from a distance very on point . You video actually made me tear up bc I want so bad to be emotionally connected with someone but I also just don’t feel emotions as much as others . When someone does something that causes me to feel a negative emotion I just detach instead of confronting it . Also I was detached from my mother as a kid. I like your comment about “Aquarian time.” I read once that Aquarians might even build a time machine. I about fell over, because at the time I was researching an idea of lessening an emotional blow (that could end up manifesting physically) by sending it back in time. There are a number of methods that use this general notion, and I noted them when I wrote about the idea I came to with a research partner. Time is something Aquarian’s think about differently.

To your question on childhood: My father, who was my main parent, died when I was 10(it took 20 yers to connect with mom) and when I was 14 I lost my home because of Russian invasion and lost my homeland. Now im a painter and writer who deals with the detachment topic and stolen landscape through art. For me its the most helpful way to sublimate, but my works also oriented for more people with similar experiences to feel seen. Very accurate video

Aquarius in the 4th and I am very, very passionate about homelessness and food disparities in my own community. One of my biggest dreams is to build tiny home communities with community gardens so people can learn to grow their own food, and to provide people with affordable housing. I am a very emotional person with being a Pisces sun but with my relationship with my husband and some other people I can be very distant and almost cold and aloof. Many people when I was younger told me I was stuck up but I made friends super easy when I put myself out there. My family relationship was a hard one, when I was 4 years old my 18 year old brother passed away. My parents were understandably pretty vacant in my childhood with the love. I spent most of my days holed up in my room. I was definitely more outgoing once I hit the teenage years. It did put a strain on my relationship with my mom. Unfortunately she passed away in 2020 and now regret time that passed while she was here. I am 48 years old now and still trying to figure myself out. I’m just very objective with my thinking! Growing up my mom was locked up overseas early in my childhood maybe 2-4 and when she got back I feel that and other life experiences left her unable to really nurture and love the way that I needed, or even knew that love for herself being raised by my Aquarius gma. My key placements in my chart from tropical astrology are Virgo Rising, Scorpio Sun, and an Aquarius Moon with Saturn in Capricorn. I connected with a lot of what you said. I have been very auccessful in my life for only 33 years of age but I have never truly had a meaningful intimate relationship. Its like I'm plagued with misfortune in that area of my life. I am extremely independent and function well On my own. I work as a flight attendant which can be one of the most isolating jobs and I love it. Thankyou for this video! It hit home on so many levels! I have 5 planets in Aquarius: Mercury 01,17, Venus 03,35, Moon 13,45, Jupiter 17,18, all in the 4th house, and Sun 26,37 in 5th house. My childhood was very difficult due to paralytic Polio. I was seperated from my family from I was 6 - 12 months, because I was in hospital, and I didn't know my family (mom, dad and 3 elder brothers) when I came home, so I was ostracised twice the first year of my life. Untill I was 15 I went through 7 major and minor orthopedic surgeries, and together with the doctors my mom was the one to decide what I had to go through. My father had no say in this, as my mom wouldn't let him in on the decisions. She blamed him for the paralasys I got, as he let our MD give me an injection in my left leg, on a day, when my mom was not at home, and when she came home, my leg was paralysed. My mom and I had continuous fights due to the daily exercises I had to do at home... So we devellopped a sort of love-hate relationship.... My boundaries has been disrespected all my life, because my "NO's" were never heard, when it came to surgeries, and now in my old age (almost 72) I still struggle with setting boundaries and to have them respected.... Pew.!!! This video hit hard here at the end of a Mercury retrograde and in the middle of a heartbreak... I could use a big hug right now ❤️ Well, with Pluto opposite and Neptune trine moon, I am a true softie under the cool, calm, collected surface. That’s me! Such a comprehensive summary. I would say that my Mars Pisces and Venus Scorpio offset a bit of the detachment. I can definitely go deep into emotions but I absolutely am comfortable being alone and use rationality to manage feelings which keeps me super stable and attuned to life playing out. It’s been painful to cut off so many people off in my life but after being so open, caring and patient for so long only to be disrespected over and over I feel it’s worth it to choose me. Plus, people often change and come back and it’s a beautiful thing to experience. People coming, people going, people returning, I’m here for all of it as long as we are decent to one another. My life’s work has been working as a therapist and I enjoy serving the most complex / sick people usually. It doesn’t drain me, it energizes me because of how active my mind is and all I’ve gone through. I love my moon in Aquarius. Wouldn’t trade it even if I could! My life is very rewarding. You’re right, it’s extremely liberating to be loyal to myself and unapologetically original. I’m the only me and I like that. Thank you for your empathy and understanding at the end, too. As much as I find my life beautiful when all is said and done I do crave to be seen and held within my experience. I think since I have a lot of Sag placements I’ve done well with creating my own family and getting lots of nurturing overall from people and life, but it ebbs and flows and the lows can be lonely at times. I'm an Aquarius Moon, Scorpio Rising with Uranus in the 1st house. I also have a Mars in Leo which is opposite my moon. I'm also a Gemini Sun so I feel like there is a duality to everything you said which I do resonate with, especially when you talk about Family connection and being adverse to merging with someone else but my Venus in Cancer can pull me into the deep end of emotions that I have learned how to shut off my emotions because its too painful and I went through a period of time that I needed antidepressants to cope. And I'm still waiting for the one to come along that can be patient and understanding to help me merge intimately and emotionally. this is probably the best description of what it means to have an aquarius moon, in my experience and opinion. "i feel seen" is the phrase that comes to mind. we often get generalized statements like cold and aloof and detached and hard to pin down emotionally, but i really resonated with the idea that the detachment comes as a result of "emotions hurt too much." of course we have big and deep feelings, but yeah, at some different points in life there have been some very overwhelming feelings that i opted to step away from and avoid until further notice, haha. and now at 36 - the age you mentioned - i'm realizing i need to lean back into those things if i want the fulfilling future i deserve and am more than capable of having. thanks for the thoughtful vid!

I have my Balsamic Moon Conjunct Neptune at 14-15 degrees of Aquarius... in my 7th House. I'm gay. I had no choice but to detach myself from whatever my parents, family, and friends thought about me once they found out. The "most genuine moon" part you talked about really hit home because it does come at a price. I am a source of envy at this point for some of the people in my life who don't understand how I operate. I feel other people's emotions and take them on as if they were my own, and am always genuine in making decisions and hearing people out. I also have my Venus/Mars conjunction in 9-14 degrees Gemini in the 11th House trining the Moon/Neptune conjunction. So more piles of Aquarius energy. I don't need anything relationship wise (just as you said), although I do dream sometimes of a perfect partner (which I'm coming to realize more and more everyday that probably doesn't exist). My childhood was very much so lived to and through my parents. I went to the private christian school my parents wanted me to, and did my best to accommodate all of their expectations. If I was ever to rebel, there was always an initial level of emotional manipulation from both parents. I'm steal healing from the way my emotional patterns have been nurtured. So I detached. No place is home, I can leave, intimacy has been tough but through the years I made peace and grew out of all this. But my God. Yes, I don't know how to get dirty... What a read, specially the childhood part, lack of a mother figure, detachment, and finding emptiness in most emotional interaction to come across. Sometimes I do feel I have so much emotions to release, so much love to give out there, but not knowing where to put it. Yes unity consciousness and community welfare are some of the matters i take pride in standing for, and some of the most harshest lessons that I have learnt from it. Still there is this strong empathy and fellow feeling deeply embedded within me that calls for an exploration. My 9th house Aqua Moon is Conjunct the MC, Black Moon Lilith & The Lot of Spirit. I am friends with positive emotions - joy, excitement, happiness, contentment. For decades I avoided all the negative emotions - especially any crying. I have had to learn to feel my emotions and then release them. The most difficult emotion for me is anger/rage...when I feel this I am incredibly uncomfortable and I make quick, bad decisions. I did way better avoiding emotions when I was younger and my Sun was in Gemini. When my Sun progressed into Cancer for 30 years, I became truly scared of emotions. I could not handle friends who expected me to sooth their emotions and listen to or watch them crying. I just did not have the capacity. Now that my Sun has progressed to Leo, I for the first time in my life - prioritize my needs. I am able to be emotionally supportive to others without being personally uncomfortable when someone cries in front of me - I detach! I have reached a place where I understand that emotions make me uncomfortable and I MUST self-monitor to ensure I am making decisions based on logic and not emotion. It's difficult with Saturn & Mercury conjunct in Cancer. Your videos are incredibly accurate and really help me understand myself better.

I totally relate to all of this. Thank you! I have barely any relationship with my father and I’m very logical. I don’t like the emotional ties because I’m afraid that I won’t know how to deal when those ties are broken. I’m very objective but love connecting with others. Thanks for helping me understand myself better.

You had me hanging on every word. I am a solar and lunar Aquarian and will be 57 years old on February 1 which also happens to be Chinese new year this year. There was nothing you said that was not accurate and I could comment on almost any of it but what I would like to comment on is the forced detachment from my mother due to the divorce of my parents and ensuing custody battle of which my father was awarded in full, which by the way was almost unheard of at that time. And yes I’d love a hug. I’d also love to start a nonprofit to benefit children of divorced families. For 40 plus years of my life it had a huge, I’ll just say not positive impact on my life. Reflecting since the death of my daddy in 2017 I realize now that it was actually him who I was detached from because of the resentment I felt for not being allowed to live with my mama as I told the judge that preference from the witness stand. We are talking a heart wrenching scene that could be in a Hollywood movie.

I have aquarius in moon and venus in 11th house. I definitely resonated with the childhood conversation. Im an aquarius moon with an mother who has a sun in aquarius. Im also a capricorn sun so learning to not disasociate emotionally. I will disasociate from people, places, and things that disturb my peace. Thanks for the breakdown in this video.
