I have to say I just discoverd your channel today any you explain things in much better detail than almost everyone I have seen before you are in my top 1% of favorites, a lot of people use fishing slang and unfamiliar terminology that just plain confuse me but you put things into perspective where I can understand without having to look things up in order to figure out what you are talking about , Thank You.

@@TimEdwards-sx2pq yep… Steve doesn’t just tell you; he shows you the bass doing exactly what he is describing. The underwater video is so well done and useful. Even the channels that are capable just don’t do it the same or as well.

Boy, you hit the nail on the head. I used to be a scuba diver. Pressure is something we all had to learn... or literally die. Really. The upper 33 feet (34 feet in fresh water) has the greatest amount of pressure change. Lower atmospheres (each subsequent 33 feet) have less and less percentage of change the deeper we go. Air pressure is not even considered in the equations we use to avoid the bends or psychosis (sometimes called "Rapture of the Deep"). What I have found is that a low barometer usually brings clouds. Clouds diminish the available light penetration into the water, as do wind waves. Water clarity, water tint, light penetration and temperature are far more important in my opinion.

I know for me, changing conditions can be a challenge. I have a tendency to focus on what's happening around me when I should really be more focused on what's happening under the water. It's something I'm trying to work on.

There are some days I just feel like diving in and saying - where you at? lol. And just when we think something is getting dialed in, there's a change.

I say it every time I watch one of your vids with underwater footage: you are REALLY on to something special-like none other-mapping bass behavior, and giving us the whys of the preferred lures and presentations. Very well done! I’m learning so much.Thank you!

You keep destroying all my preconceived notions about bass behavior. You need to stop. Maybe I enjoy being a mediocre fisherman.

Lol. I saw an awesome shirt by another channel one time, can't remember who it was, but it said "The World's Ok'est Fishermen." I think that is awesome. I almost bought one.
