Malia came off as a sociopathic snitch, willing to throw anyone under the bus to get her way. Demanding two fellow crew members room with each other just so that she can spend the last two charters with her boyfriend and acting like they had absolutely no legitimate reason to resist, as if no one else's considerations have any legitimacy of their own. Then she runs to Captain Sandy, who Malia knew would side with her in order to avoid having to get another chef. This is an example of an individual who doesn't empathize with others and is willing to use her own leverage in a position to get what she wants, other people's concerns be damned. And then we can get to the snitching. She takes the time to move her junk into the room she's just leveraged and, while violating her colleague's privacy in order to expedite her needs, she finds a cbd pen and her valium and thinks the best option is to immediately bring it to the captain's attention while on camera, knowing Captain Sandy would have no other option but to get rid of Hannah. This act of snitchery only made the labor of her fellow crew more challenging over the following weeks. But, hey, it's all good. right? Malia gets to snuggle with her boo so what else matters? A certain Biggie Smalls track comes to mind, but i digress. And don't get me started on that game she pulled on during her first season. THAT was a MASTERCLASS in Gaslighting. I would say abusers should study, but i wouldn't want to encourage this kind of sociopathy to continue. There's enough of that going around. I can't watch another episode with her on it and i used to love this show. I'm sure she'll make a wonderful politician someday, though.

Then Malia started whining about it not being fair and she should just deal with sharing a room with Bugs. Hannah countered and said Malia should live with not sleeping with her boyfriend for a few days. Off of memory, the conversation was left there and Hannah stuck to her guns. Bravo, Sandy and Malia really acted poorly. Malia waited days after getting the valium for Hannah during that night. Until she had a conflict with her. Then and only then she reported her. She then went through Hannahs personal belongings (which now was in another room). Then took pictures of said belongings. Sandy has wanted Hannah gone for years. I care she said. Hannah said no you dont. Then Sandys fake caring vanished and she admitted she didnt care at all. Alot of people take prescribed medications. On below the deck Kat showed Lee her anxiety meds and she was not fired. The way Bravo paints medications as drug use and being a danger is disgusting.

Sandy said she won't go verbatim with Maritime law, since they all know it. The If you see something say something ideal is a mainstay in majority of fields. She knew Hannah had the valium because she retrieved it for her. If she was concerned then, she could have still helped her with the anxiety by waking Sandy up immediately and them working through it. She wasn't wrong for going to Sandy, she was wrong about the events that led to her discovering it and keeping quiet. The timing and circumstances of the season coupled with their past, only made it conclusive she was doing it out of spite because Hannah didn't switch to room with Bugsy so she could share with her boyfriend. They started arguing about it and it definitely was edited because there is no way Hannah didn't continue DRAGGING her. That's why Malia had that usual resting PRICK look when she went to Sandy. When Hannah was packing her bags, Malia walks in acting lost and innocence. Hannah surprisingly kept it professional when she showed her the pic somebody sent to Sandy. Malia wanted to go off so bad that looked told it all. She isn't stupid. Hannah was going to DESTROY her infront of her already undermining crew, her idol Sandy, and her man Tom. Hannah had nothing to lose at that point, she could have done it so easily, but even then she kept her composure. The cameras wanted her to go off and she kept pacing waiting them out. That's how it's done! I didn't know people thought Hannah did drugs regularly until this episode and these comments out of 5 seasons.

I think sandy had to do something with discovery of hannah's valium. We saw malia told sandy about her panic attack at 4 am and may have also shared that hannah was asking for valium. Sandy may have looked into hannah's files and found she didn't disclose the information. But to avoid something...sandy may have asked malia to find the valium and take pictures of it. Alternative maybe malia looked through hannah's files to see if mention of medicine and when nothing was shown. Malia saw a chance to get back at hannah, but was just coincidence she also found a vape pen. (Icing on top as they say.) I think a lot more thought went into malia's action than just "i happened acrossed this and thought i should report it." Where a person who has no opinion/no neg. opinion of hannah would jump to conclusion hannah already shared her medication list with charter company and not even bothered reporting. It’s a toss-up for who is worse, Malia or Sandy. They are both deceitful and extremely manipulative. Plus, neither of them have any loyalty besides the two of them to each other. And even that was short lived. It’s obvious that Sandy shows Malia favoritism because Sandy has an inappropriate crush on her. Also, Malia has somewhat lead Sandy on to think that Malia is into women when she clearly is heterosexual. They deserve each other and it’s been comical watching their “friendship” fall apart. Once Sandy learned that Malia wasn’t gay, Sandy was out for revenge. Both of them are just super shady all around.

Coward and snake. She hugged Hannah in her time of need. Instead of approaching her privately and giving her an opportunity to correct the issue she threw her under the bus to get ahead. When will all of you understand that this is not a Big Brother show, this is not filmed in a sound studio, these are real professionals doing a real job with real life consequences, they are responsible for the life of the passengers and crew; she reported an incident as she should, just like people have to do in many industries, if you read that an airplane pilot of cabin personnel was reported for taking drugs and thus fired, you would all think it the right thing to do, but since you are watching this on TV you turn it into a popularity contest. Hanna needed that medication, and she cannot work while taking that medication. Hanna is now happily married with children and doing great and she can now take her of her health. Malia is a responsible professional, making her way in a male dominated industry -even the chef asked Captain Sandy if she was the chief stew-, and is going to be a great captain.

Right from the beginning I knew she was off. She let that guy call her sweetie every day. Then as his boss instead of simply telling him not to she ambushed him with Sandy. Who does that. You never even dicaplined the poor guy. Then taking someone's prescription drugs out and lining them up like that and sending a picture to the cap in the middle of the night. Who does shit like that. Awful horrible human being. And don't get it twisted she did that just so she could get Hannah out of her bunk. I've never seen a boss talk so down to ppl in my life. Ugh.

I liked Malia but now she’s just getting on my damn nerves. A true leader wouldn’t always go tattling to Captain Sandy-Or tell her issues about one deck crew member to another deck crew member. Malia so sad... bravo replace her.. Making hate over someone that has mental health issues. You went way to far. And then to have her set in crew mess discussing it with her crew. It was not her place to do that. In the previews for next week she told Hannah " you were taking them ever night" well there it is! She knew and brought it up after the cabin issue. So sad.. knowing someone suffering anxiety and I instead of saying hannah is it registered with boat. If not let her go to cabin with sandy in private instead of humiliating someone with anxiety disorder. Sandy being the captain should not have humiliated her like she did. Running to the bathroom after her like high school and Malia smiling when she was told hannah was gone. Also I don't know if anyone noticed but when sandy announced on radio about the cabins she was smiling and snickering.
