Do you do remote color consultation’s? I have a Terra Cotta roof and flag stone on the walkway. I like the creamy/off whites for the base color. I have white vinyl windows. This video came at the right time, my house is facing east, the back is west, I was thinking using simply white, and paint the front door black and the gutters, not sure which black color yet. Now I am not sure which white to use lol. Thank you for the information. Definitely need help now

Thanks for your video. I'm choosing white paint colours for my exterior. I love all your suggestions. I have a traditional tutor home and want a layered white and white look. Can the body be a lower LRV and the trim be a different lighter white. Also, can I do warm whites for a south east facing home? I've read that this exposure should have cooler colours. Thank you!

I suppose you could layer whites, but the freshest option will be to choose a white that you carry on the trim, too. Changing sheens helps, as the higher the sheen the more light it reflects. There's too many variances to say yes this will work all the time. The paler cream/off-white you go, the weirder it will look to have a true white trim color.

Your videos are the best and so informative. Good timing too. I just painted my exterior sw Tempe Star with pure white trim. Stopped the trim because it looks completely stark. I’m thinking oyster white or city loft

Thanks! I have seen deep blue exteriors with both true white trim and with more of a cream trim. Both look good, just a matter of what your preference is.

We have a warm brown/red brick and I thought I wanted a gray and went with essential gray and it is way too gray and not warm enough for the brick. I think this color combination has an expiration date that is fast approaching. If you love it, go for it, though. I would probably go a bit darker and use a body color like shoji white.

I love Swiss coffee for interiors. It can be a bit too much of a bright white color on the exterior, depending on the amount do shade your home receives.

I put new siding on my north facing house in Certainteed natural clay. We also have a warm stone around our door and lower half of the house. The garage door and front door are white and window trim is white. I need to brighten up the siding. Are you able to suggest a shade of Sherwin Williams white that would look good on shutters?.

Loving your videos & getting ready to paint our exterior! Balboa Mist is the closest of these video options that may work with our stacked stone but still might be too light for me. Do you have any warm neutrals, just a bit deeper, that you love more in the LRV 50's range? Also, our neighbor's house is white. So far, SW Shitake is the closest I've found but it's a little yellow for me. Love the warm grays or greige. Any help would be great and so appreciated.

Possibly. Hard to make a recommendation without seeing it. You need to also consider your other fixed elements on your home, as china white might not be the right white.

Our home is surrounded by Tall evergreen trees. If one of the suggested paints have a green undertone, will that make the green in the paint come forward? The back of our home is in bright sun but the front is shady most of the day.

OOOO, what white or off white would go with iron Ore Trim? The Barn is Iron Ore on the property so the house will eventually have the same trim. We have been searching for a Sherwin Williams soft white to complement the Iron Ore barn and eventually trim.

For a classic look, I love pairing iron ore with sw shoji white. If you want a more modern farmhouse look you can try china white, white dove or alabaster.
