We have recently opened our videos up for comments. However, the comments are all moderated; they must be approved before they will appear. Please be patient, as this could take a few days if I am busy with other things. Here are some guidelines if you would like to have your comment approved: 1. Keep it short. This rule is partly to help YOU. People simply will not read long, rambling posts. 2. Keep it relevant. (See also #3 & #4.) Relate what you are saying to the video you are commenting on, or to something said by the person to whom you are replying. 3. No sermons. If you want to preach, do so on your own channel. This is a forum for discussion. 4. Bible references: Say enough to indicate what the passage says, but major on sharing how you think it relates to the topic. Try to avoid chapter and verse references on their own. 5. Rudeness will not be tolerated. 6. No links. This is generally seen as trying to drag people away from this channel to some other channel or site. 7. One point at a time. Many different arguments in the same post do not allow time for two sides to be heard on a single point. Share your best argument (or two), and see what happens. 8. Misinformation based on so-called Internet "research" that is not supported by credible evidence will be deleted.

God is nature, this is in first place why everyone work for God, some against it others in favour of. The real teachings are TRUTH LOVE , Anyone who has read the bible will witness the 'only message' that institutions could not distort. unfortunately, most people believe in the institutions that glorify evil doings. for instance the bible and other books from Abrahamic followers have been translated by the most intolerant, barbaric & bloodthirsty ''Rulers'' ''Clergy'' ''Pharisees'' . How possible is that the religions who predicate ''truth and love'' are the creators of ideological wars, persecutions and hatred? This comment might get deleted but for the reader, please, look at history with broad perspective and reflex, stop supporting evil doings, there is a reason why they killed Jesus, the reason most fail to understand is because a millennia of persecutions, indoctrination, torture & fear to GOD. The truth GOD is nature, and just admiring, respect and observe its own creations is the bless we have.

If you come to him like a little child, letting him change you, you will be turned into a whole new creation. Not just some superficial magic prayer that supposedly "saves" you without any change, but a real change that comes from listening to Jesus himself. Try it. I am an elderly man who has been "searching' for the truth most of my adult life. There have been a few times that I actually thought I had found it. Never once was it put to me that it was as simple as being obedient to my Lords teachings. There were always explainations of those teaching that made them anything but simple. As I try to divest myself of my worldly goods and live by faith alone, and being obedient to the things that have been marginalized of Jesus teaching, I look for ways to be more focused in my efforts to be obedient. Constant prayer for direction has become my most important resource, but I do regard your videos as helpful in clearing away the fog and confusion that has resulted from following men instead of God. Even though your words have the ring of truth to me,I still have the concern that it is possible for me to fall back in the pattern of depending on others. Any thoughts or ideas you might have to share would be deeply appreciated. I am sure that in reading my post that there is evidence of continued confusion on my part. Thank you for your hard work and efforts to reach hearts, and I am sure that you will be richly blessed for your work on Christs behalf.

On another thread I have suggested that you get in touch with us, with a view to possibly working with us. It's true that one of the risks in working with others is that we will become too dependent on the others. But I think there is a far greater risk of being too hooked on our own opinions if we choose to work on our own. Even the 12 apostles were sent out two by two; so I think God recognises that we all benefit at least a little from peer group pressure, providing it is pressure to do what we basically want to do in the first place, which is to grow spiritually, and to become more and more like Christ. Here's a link to another video, about the specific topic of living together. bit.ly/hatedD

Mark, I see that you have been a subscriber here for four years. I don't know how many videos you have watched in that time, but I'm going to assume you have watched this one you are commenting on. It doesn't go into detail, but it says what virtually every video on this channel says in one way or another, and that is that the Jesus of the four gospels is our only hope of salvation. Technically, virtually every church in the world will agree with that. So I'm not asking you to believe something that the others are openly contradicting. Have you got that clear? Okay. So all you do from that point on is listen to what we have to say, and what anyone else has to say, and you ask yourself, "Which one is pushing Jesus, and which one is pushing something else." It's not rocket science, Friend! bit.ly/37XhjuR

That was good! YES! We need to pay attention to the actual teachings of Jesus & embrace the living words He quickens in us; the Sermon on the Mt being kingdom principles we can live by through His Spirit within, as an perfect foundational example. Seeing the image of the cornerstone with those words reminded me of this and the inner vision I received below: May I add, in 1989 I wrote down an inner vision of the future of the church & part of Fathers plans to transform her; I think it relates. This is how it began: "While in prayer the Lord gave me a vision of a Holy temple fully destroyed, except for the foundation. The foundation left standing was the chief cornerstone which I understood represented Jesus Christ & Fathers messages which came through Him. The rest of the stones left were those God had placed through His Prophets & Apostles of old & through the outpourings of His Spirit since. I was aware a tidal wave had wiped everything else out so all which remained was God's work & not mans. I knew the temple represented the Bride of Christ. Father Himself had swept His hand over His Holy Temple, His church. knocking down that which was not in Christ's image but was a work of the flesh inspired by vain imaginations & inherited traditions, rooted in fears, legalistic teachings & not His love. I was given understanding the church as we knew it at then would no longer exist in the future. God was unfolding His eternal plan for her; she was about to go through a season of weakness, powerlessness for some, fiery trials for many, to empty her to receive that which was coming, an outpouring of His Spirit far greater than man has known to date."

I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure that if you tell people want to hear, they'll follow; whereas if you tell people what they need to hear, they'll condemn... if they don't like what they're hearing, at least. After all, nobody wants to recognize their own flaws... but what happens when people finally do recognize their own flaws, face their own flaws, focus on their own flaws, and then work relentlessly to fix their own flaws? We will all be flawed forever but the strive for perfection, though ultimately futile, will lead to a far more rapid evolution in a person than no attempt for perfection at; using acceptance as an excuse. That was a good video. A lot of people who call themselves Christian don't actually read the bible. I've read, and been in discussions where Christians point other Christians or new believers to books other then the bible to learn about Jesus. It sounds like you've been a Christian for a long time. You are correct in saying that false prophets and teachings have infutrated the body of Christ. Jesus said it would happen and that the very elect would be decieved if possible. The Apostle Paul also warned the church that ravenous wolf's would sneak in and try to corrupt God's flock. I agree we should be on our guard against false teachings. As I listened to your video, The story of the prophet Elijah kept popping into my mind. Elijah had a similar perspective about the lack of God fearing people he encountered in his journeys. However, I think you left out one variable that can't be measured by observation. You left out the mind of God. God told the prophet Elijah that he has reserved for himself 7 thousand who have not bowed their knee to the false Gods of this world. That leaves me to believe in the possibility that every 1 out of 450 people, God has reserved for himself. I always keep in mind, that even though I can't see it in many of the people who preach, and teach God's word, God always has a remnant choosen by Grace. The scriptures say that the creation waits in eager expectation for the child of God to be revealed. When I think about Romans 8:9, it reminds to keep my eyes, ears, and heart open for like minded disciples of Christ who I can fellowship with. I look for Believers who love God's word, and want to serve the Lord with all their mind, all their heart, and all their soul. Matthew 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Acts 20:29-30 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flockEven from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. Romans 11:3-5 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. Romans 8:19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

I agree that Jesus teachings are hard, but they are sooo very good not a thing in this world is comparable. I also loved your teaching on our Lords "exagerations". I also think its worth taking into account where Jesus comes from and how the sense of humour of people from those parts is quite different to our western sense of humour. I almost always encounter Jesus as both serious and literal, but with an indescribable humour that I really love. The sermon on the mount is quite special and Matthew 5:27-30 where he says its better to cut out your eye or cut off your hand. I see Jesus as being very serious (and funny because obviously our salvation is worth everything and anything) and anyone who doubts or can't accept His teaching MUST still love their lives and not truly want Jesus enough to walk the narrow path.

The claim, "the whole world has never met Jesus or if he has, has rejected him." to make this statement you have to know every human being and all knowledge. A prerogative which belongs to God alone. We can all make the claim that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, "because it scriptural. But as to who is justified or not justified before God, this does not belong to us.

By your reasoning, no one is allowed to say "The whole world" except God. Get serious! We often say "the whole world", even though we don't know every single individual in it. It's a bit like the Bible saying that the Antichrist causes everyone on Earth to receive a mark in their hand or in their forehead. There are exceptions, but they are so rare, that they are not worth mentioning. What I think YOU want to do, is to assume that you and your church and your friends are OK spiritually, even if many others are not. But I would challenge you to show me someone who is teaching people to literally obey Jesus today, like their salvation depends on it. I'm sure they exist, but it can become a lifetime task just trying to find one or two. Imagine a church where one woman in the whole church prays fervently, many hours a day, for the church and for the whole world. Then, one day, the pastor gets up and preaches a powerful sermon about the need for prayer, stating that there are a lot of problems in the church because people are not praying. And even more problems in the world because people are not praying. He rants and raves about the need for more prayer. Do you think that woman is going to stand up and rebuke the pastor for not making allowances for her as an exception? No, of course not! So, if I say that there is not one church in the entire world that is following anything that Jesus said, and your church IS doing its best to follow everything that Jesus said, do you think they would see me as a friend or as an enemy? Here is another video that takes the simplest and most objectively measurable teaching of Jesus that I could think of, and rates the churches on the bases of that one teaching (which, of course, is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of all that Jesus taught). bit.ly/2UxFZ7T

The Bible is a very big book, written by a lot of different people over a long period of time. So there are thousands of differences of opinions about nearly everything in it. But I think the biggest problem is something I equate with that word "ministry". What it means in practice is "a way to make money for yourself, while coming across as being religious". Everyone is building their own kingdom, and trying to turn it into a profitable venture. But, if people would just stick with the teachings of Jesus, it would be many times harder to split up into different factions. Sadly, it is the teachings of Jesus that they are all most united on... united AGAINST them. The whole meaning of the word "apostle" escapes me. I think it means something like "heavenly messenger", something like "angel", but it also was some kind of leadership thing in the Bible. The first apostles picked a replacement (in Acts 1) and we never hear of the guy again. And Paul thought that HE was an apostle as well. So, if there are only twelve, somebody goofed. After Paul was "converted" he went to Arabia and chose not to be discipled by those who actually knew Jesus and he then went on to say that the other apostles" added nothing to him". This sounds suspicious to me. Finally, the whole armour of God thing sounds suspiciously like Saul lending his clunky armour to David. Seems like Paul wants to have the church controlled by a spirit of religion. But you are right, Paul said some great things, just as Saul won battles and was anointed of God. I am still on the fence, but I think the resolution of this matter will be critical to the growth of the Church. If I am wrong, God forgive me, if right, God help us all. I don't know if thee is a "singular" message of Yeshua; but if there is, I do not see that emphasising his "divine nature" was it. In fact, outside of John's gospel, Jesus said very little about that. Perhaps it would be safer to surmise that the singular message of the Holy Spirit is to reveal the divine nature of Jesus? Jesus himself rebuked people for calling him Lord, but then not doing the things that he has told us to do. I believe he came to teach us how to love as God loves. He was pretty clear about that. Watched a handful of your videos last night, think one of them spoke about hating you life, which I've read in the gospels as well(?). Well I certainly am not a huge fan of mine, mostly because I'm not sure what to do with it. There seems to be differing opinions (about everything, obviously, Bible related) but one is that God has a plan for your life. Which I'm pressing into, praying for. Just feel out of place in this world. Kind of always have, which brings me to these points where I wouldn't mind not waking up the next morning. Hopefully wake up in heaven. It's been about six months since I became a believer, some things happened. Hit this point where not being here anymore sounded nice, was questioning life and what created it. Wrote and wrote, pondering reincarnation and aliens jump starting higher human consciousness, all that alternative truth stuff. Was talking about throwing on a Superman costume then finding a tall bridge, see what was at the bottom. Was pretty much a believer in reincarnation, so yea, let's get this over with try again. See what's next. Then something happened, switch turned on. Jesus or God found me, saved me. But I'm back in kinda the same situation, not wanting to end my life, just not seeing where I fit into this world. Hoping and praying that Jesus and God have a plan for that. Holy Spirit guiding as well. Some pretty wild things have happened. Few dreams leading to things, multiple instances where the Bible/Scriptures came to life. Jesus and God speaking to me. But I still get back to wanting this life to end, for the poor decisions I've made. Feel like I'm just here. Get up go to work (once I find something) come home go to sleep. Over and over and over, until it's finally over. With no purpose of being here. I my mind. Feel very lucky to have been plucked out and saved, shown the truth, process of being saved. Didn't deserve that. Not sure where I'm going with this, everything I just wrote, why I'm asking you. Had a dream about 3 weeks ago. Night before had asked for a word to come to me, read some book about prophetic stuff, or just reaching out in general. Ask for words, speak to me. That night a guy said a verse-like phrase to me, with the word providence in it. Not a word that's in my daily vocabulary, never think about it and didn't know the definition. Looked up the word, then later found a book titled Providence. Talks about how God had everything happen for a reason. Providence is displayed from Genesis to Revelation. Found another book, speaks of election and predestination, some people are saved, was part of the plan since before the earth was formed. God's elect. So it felt like that was true, for my situation, since I didn't go looking to be saved. Did not pick up a Bible and read the gospels, connected with it then started believing Again, not sure why I'm writing all this to you, maybe just looking for input. Wondering if it upsets the Trinity, that I kinda hate my life to the point where'd I'd be fine with just not waking up the next day. If that's a littleextreme, not supposed to hate my life to thst extent. Dunno, just been a pretty crazy 6 months

@@avoiceinthedesert have always had this urge to just "give up" and get in my car and drive. See what happens. Obviously have yet to do that lol. Not sure if you've seen the movie Into The Wild, but something like that, what he did. It is kinda hard to ignore what Jesus taught his disciples, forsake and follow. I'm still new to his teachings and the Bible, but have read through the gospels a half dozen times or so in the past 6 months. Prior to being...saved I guess, had never picked up a Bible before, but yea, it looks kinda like give everything up and follow the Lord. Rely on God's providence, maybe something like that, dunno. But with that word, providence, comes multiple definitions. Can only assume you're well aware of that. One is God's care, providing, I guess. Other, his foreknowledge and foresight. Even to the extent that God knows everything that will ever happen. With everyone. Like this conversation was going to take place, God already knew that. Very strange, this entire last 6 months. Watched the video and it looks adventurous. Unknown, what's coming the next day. Sitting here in regular society, front porch writing this, enclosed in what I'm used to doing, it looks like a possibility. Forsaking everything. Some days, moments, yea don't want to be here anymore. Then the next day or moment come out of that thought process, go back to believing that something good will happen someday. Hard part, with your community in mind, are stories from other people. God provided for them, but they still are part of the system. People claim miracles and being provided for, but they haven't forsaken anything, really. To an extent. All I know for sure is that no, no tseeing where I fit into this world. It's depressing, but knowing that this is all temporal, life, it's strangely comforting knowing that it'll be over someday. Who knows, maybe someday you'll may see me. In the meanwhile I'll keep asking and seeking and knocking. See what comes back to me

I applaud you for believing in Our Lord Jesus Christ and trying to follow His teachings but how do I know that you have the right understanding of Scripture? Consider this, if Our Lord is Who He says that He is and if He promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church and that the Holy Spirit would guide the Church then we have to conclude that that same Church is still here today and we should be a member of that Church out of love and obedience to Him. One place the Bible supports this idea is in the book Acts 13:46 where he says ..."and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles." Derek Tilley is right, so also A Voice in the Desert but A voice in the desert’s analogy is *NOT COMPATIBLE* to the FACT of using YeHoWaH’s (JeHoVaH’s) Holy Name. Let’s try and use an analogy of writing a letter to an elder or a pastor and simply address the envelope “Pastor” or “Elder” without writing the name of the actual elder or pastor to whom the letter is intended to be delivered or given to, in a church or worshippers gathering where there are more than one (1) elder or pastor. Now, the question of who among the “elders” or “pastors” do you give the enveloped letter to?
@avoiceinthedesert
@avoiceinthedesert 3 жыл бұрын
Someone shared the same argument, talking about there being many fathers, but we need to identify which father we are talking about. And my response worked especially well for that one, even though my point is valid with regard to terms like "elder" and "pastor" too. So here is my response: You have a room full of fathers, and a kid walks in and shouts "Daddy! Daddy!" Do you think either the daddy or the kid are going to have any problem working out who he is talking about. If people arguing over names would spend more time just LISTENING to Jesus, it would do so much more for the relationship. I think a lot of those who put their hope in spelling the name correctly are actually going to hear him say, "Go away! I don't know you." bit.ly/2NEIyDB

The Mark of the Beast and the United States in Bible Prophecy: John 16:25“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; Rev 13:11 “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” The Bible interprets itself. What is prophecy symbolism for a beast? Dan 7:17...23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, A beast in Bible prophecy is a “Kingdom/Nation.” What does seas/waters represent? Rev 17:15-17 Seas/waters represent people’s, multitudes. So if a kingdom rises out of the sea it means a place where there is a populated area (Europe) and therefore if it arises out of the land it is a place sparsely populated. Using the Bible’s own iinterpretations here is how the text would read. Revelation 13:11 ► And I beheld another nation coming into power out of a sparsely populated area and he had two horns like a lamb, (Lamb/Christ like Christian principles,) “with unalienable rights endowed by the creator,” but he spake as a dragon. Notice the horns have no crowns on them like other beast/nations in the Bible b/c America has no king. BUT by its end time it will speak as a dragon. How does a nation speak? (It legislates/passes laws.) “And he excercises all the power of the first beast before him, (Rome) and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to WORSHIP The first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” So the MARK of the beast is not a computer chip, a vaxx, a tattoo or a UPC label or a national ID card, the MARK of the beast is WHO YOU WORSHIP. and according to the Bible the United States will be foremost in causing (enforcing laws) to force you to worship false doctrine. What is the MARK of the beast? It is the mark of a great false apostate Christian religion that would “think to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: John 16:2 “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” What church has persecuted the saints and changed the Ten Commandments? Matt 15:9 “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” When church and state combine to FORCE religious observance the mark of the beast will be imposed and the United States will then “speak as a dragon.” Those who are Alive just before Jesus returns will be forced to accept false doctrine or serve God. Rev 13:17 “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, (worshiped) or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” John 16:25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language,” One may see, b/c of this current crisis, how the deliberate effort to intimidate, blame and shame the non compliant as the spreaders of disease, the mandates too comply or lose your job, mask wearing, all in the name of health and welfare can and will morf as a prelude of mandates to obey the mark of the beast or the church/state will cut you off from essential services and finances and will accomplish that goal in the near future. All that is needed is the completion of a cashless society and every transaction and who made it will be totally controlled as at no other time possible in earths history and you will comply or die.

To the Peacekeepers They are called God's children and it never Excluded Race, Gender, Sexuality, or other people who practice peace even in other cultures and religions from being a child of God. The holy word Is not the Bible when they should read JOHN 1. Since when do we think the bible is the authority and moral compass of our lives? Sure it may lead us to God but men did write it, right? MEN WHO FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY men who wrote THIER thoughts in the bible. For instance, if I were to go back in time to write some of the laws in the bible like Oh say DON'T RUN OR BREATHE HEAVILY it is a SIN. Would anyone listen to that and then say it's from God since they read the bible? There are a lot of Christians who cherry-pick what's beneficial for them and condemn others for being different OR thinking differently from them. This bible they hold in their hands has killed many Nonbelievers because they didn't believe because they read the bible without a discerning spirit. These heartless Christians accuse others of wrongdoings and then punished them because the bible says so. The Christian crusade many innocents lost their lives because most Christians Killed Many who did not believe.
