Interesting honest angle Patrick. It's not easy to find the balance, especially when your hotel room gets covered in camera gear, batteries charging etc! Urghhh! On the other hand, I'd be bored without creating any content at all abroad. I've found it helps to take minimal equipment, film at sunset and sunrise so the middle part of the day is free. And also not to compare my work to others too much. Good luck if you get back into it in future.

Thank you Ian. Yeah, that's true. I need a mission while traveling long-term. We are not at the beginning of our 20s anymore when it was all about sightseeing and hanging around the free days. But filming all the time isn't the best thing for me to do either. As you said correctly, it's difficult to find the balance. The comparison to others is another thing. Better not to watch others too much. Just do you. My best wishes.

Love the honesty. I too create travel content and I can't create videos unless I'm solo traveling and it's super intentional. I plan out the shots and spend WAY less time shooting content. Game changer to still enjoy travel.
