I think he brings up a good point, a portion of the christian holidays has been joined with the ways of the pagans before religion. This include christmas and santa claus. It should be the christians trying to seperate what is true and what is not themselves. As it says in James 3:11, 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Form is not as important as substance. What makes Christmas Christian is celebrating the birth of Jesus. We reclaimed these pagan festivals and now glorify God with them. We’ve separated ourselves from the pagans because we use Christmas to glorify Jesus, not something else.

Yesterday i asked about what is about eggs that is related to Jesus? None of my Christian friends were able to give a straight answer..they talked about the 2nd coming..and coming back to life.i mean it's a chicken's egg? Last I checked jesus is a human..why no one is questioning. Also rabbits 😂that's just a bad joke someone got away with. I think the only way for the church tk control ppl back then was by merging pegan holidays with Christian ones..that's why they changed Jesus's birthdate into the winter solicitor celebrations.

Like all Christian festivals it is taken from the pre Christian pagan traditions. Eostre was indeed the pagan goddess of fertility and she was worshiped on the spring moon. She was represented by the hare which is why we have the Easter bunny.

There are millions of Christians in America who know exactly what Easter is and that is not about Christ, rather about Ishtar and those millions of us have nothing to do with Easter. We keep Passover and the week of unleavened bread and observe His crucifixion and resurrection that way; in spirit and truth of understanding that He was our Passover lamb, the first fruits redeemed of the earth, and it is Him who provides all - be it our natural sustenance or our spiritual salvation. Yes Easter is a blasphemous blending of pagan rites and observances, that a LOT of believers are educating themselves on and coming out of.

So, what's your point? A lot of Christianity comes from ancient Pagan ritual and deities. Yes, we could easily criticize the ambiguity and 'political' origins of Christianity and the obnoxious, if not irreverent 'commercialization' of all our holidays, including Christmas [as we've managed to marry 'Christianity' to 'Capitalism' as the new American Religion]. Yet through it all, I've managed to share the company and customs of my Muslim, Jewish, Christian and Atheistic 'friends' and come out of it all - completely inscathed! I have no problem with any natural connection to the Earth, or references to Spring and rebirth, or celebrating Life, do you? Ironically, since October 7th, we've been inundated with debate after debate, lesson after lesson, as to which religion's 'superpowers', or Prophecies, are the greatest; the most noble; the most relevant; or the most 'righteous'. Yet NONE of these history lessons seem to offer any moral or ethical justification for what we're witnessing in Gaza or the West Bank, day after day, TODAY, in real time, or anywhere else in the World, where man's inhumanity to man is the most prevalent. So, to all the 'organized' religions [or 'tribes'] of the World... Thanks for nuthin'.
