To be honest it wasnt ibbotson's fault as they were both unconscious in the plane prior to the crash. The person that organised and chose the plane and didn't check if it was in a condition to fly, its that person's fault.

@@timotejropic5262 it was inevitable sooner or later. A driver is responsible for his passengers and to ensure his car is fit to be driven. Same goes for a pilot. He wasn't qualified to be a pilot given the lack of flight hours and licence and medical condition. He was also responsible for ensuring the plane is fit to fly; he didn't. He should have never been piloting. Manslaughter all round. Salas family are right in going after everyone. This was a culmination of failures from nearly all parties.

Plus the plane had problems on the way to France. Ibbotson heard a huge bang. Why that plane was used, along with Ibottson, is beyond me. He should have taken the commercial flights. Who cares if Sala was late for training or missed a few other things. At least he would have still been alive, the poor sod. RIP.

Ever since I became a football fan, this was the saddest tragedy I ever witnessed. During the search, I always hoped he would be found, but deep down I knew that wasn't likely going to happen. I had never heard of him before this incident, but I was deeply saddened when I learned about his death. Negligence and recklessness surely played a big part in his death, and honestly, I think Henderson should be locked up for an even longer time, plus he has to be fined a huge amount of money.

As of 26.8.22, CAS have ordered Cardiff to pay the first installment, of €6m(£5.1m). They have stated, Cardiff did actually sign Sala before the crash, even though they denied it. Nobody wins here but Cardiff have shown a disgraceful attitude, to try and get out of paying, by lying. If i was Nantes, i would pass the money to Sala's family. It won't bring him back but could help cover the costs of the search, they raised the money for and give them some justice.

To take a flight hed arranged.And we all now how it turned out!! Part of the blame lies with Cardiff City Football Club. They should have either provided a proper private jet, or insisted he get the high speed train to Paris, then the Euro-Star train to London, then on to Bristol and Cardiff. Instead, it was a tinpot broken down Piper aeroplane flown by an unlicensed amateur. So sad and tragic, what happened.
