I remember reading the book of Revelation in junior high school back in 85’, it literally scared the hell out me and I gave my life to Christ eventually when I joined the army after graduation from high school.

No fear at all…….just the realization of the consequences from living in sin that every one WILL experience no matter who you are, your last breath on earth will be your first breath in eternity and there’s only 2 places it’ll be when it’s all said and done…….heaven or hell. On the day of the Great White Throne Judgement 2 books will be opened……the book of life and the book of the dead, if you died without confessing your sins and giving your life to Jesus Christ by saying the prayer of salvation your name will not be the book of life and you’ll be cast into the lake of fire and will be tormented for all eternity where there will weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I just finished reading through revelations last night. One nugget I noticed it said was that the darkness itself was so dark that it was painful. I thought that interesting. I haven’t read it in a while so I just read it through. I’m going back to read it again and study more thoroughly. I believe things are in motion and events are taking place faster in time and more intense in severity in a global sense. Like birth pangs. Be prepared. We have the promise that a new heaven and a new Israel will come down from God. There will be no need for the sun and moon for light because God will be the light. Stay strong. It is worth it. The moon doesn't provide light only stars like our own sun does. The moon reflects light from the sun but it doesn't produce it.

Very interesting darkness thing. I would argue that the verse about no sun and moon is figurative, as there would be no shadows in heaven which would be disorienting and quite visually ugly. Not to mention that the whole book of Revelations is a figurative vision. (unless you take the monsters coming out of the sea literally idk)

My heart was baptized on August 30th 2018 the day that I died. I didn't go to hell I went to heaven I saw a man with a golden aura like an ocean of gold around him. Love flowed from this being like a waterfall and you could tell that you were in the presence of the being that created love. I was accepted and told that I was not a piece of garbage that I wasn't a bad person, I was accepted. My body was not there I was in spirit so there was no pain only euphoria, love, and acceptance. I was home! It told me all those things without actually saying a word. God bless all of you in Jesus's Name please read safe out there it's getting more devilish by the day 😔 but don't lose hope because the Lord is on his way 🙏 and pretty soon we'll be raptured

How did one come up with such a conclusion, if I might query? Even Jesus ended up in hell (Acts 2:27). Was it because of any consequence of sin? Hell is just the KJV's word for the GRAVE. Check out various translations of the cited scripture.

@Mike Hill Something that has made me feel closer to God in the past is reading the Bible alone and taking notes. Even taking notes on ceremonies and actually paying attention to the ‘begets’ sections has made me feel closer to God. Listening to sermons is great and helpful, but if you never independently read the Bible, you won’t really connect with the sermons and you’ll also feel generally lost, hopeless, and empty. Read the big aloud when you can during your readings too. Good luck!

your sermon was wonderful. I am a lost soul who reflects on God and the lord on a daily basis but still feel lost and hopeless. My mind is an angry place and I feel alone and abandoned. I know that all good things come from God and all bad things come from Satan. I pray for forgiveness and know that my heart does not want to live this way. I seek peace and seem I cant find it. I try to think of what I am doing wrong and there are moments when I realize I dont reflect on the blessings God has given me. A good job, the ability to take care of myself, the very world and its beauty we live in. Im ashamed at the fact I cant control how angry my thoughts are all of the time, and I know I would never hurt anyone other than myself...mentally but not physically and at times Im ashamed to ask Gods forgiveness because I keep doing the same things wrong over and over. So I pray I find the Lord before I die and I hope for the best. I Isolate myself because I have learned not to trust people and have thought that if I move to a cabin in the woods maybe I can reflect more on the Lord and I can find him that way but Im not certain. Pray for me and my pursuit of salvation. I know that true peace only comes from having the Lord in ones life. Thank you.

It's good to examine your heart daily! Paul said it's good to die daily. We sin daily but we must repent daily. It's not a sin to be tempted but it is to allow temptation to cause you to sin. I have to say that I have watched this video in the past 6 months 3 times. I will tell you that I am so very happy, that GOD guided me to this wonderful paster. He does not only use the bible, or history or science for that matter. He also uses other known people with their historical facts. What makes so very sad, is trying to tell so many people about the truth and they do not want to listen. The biggest problem I see is that man has a free will. The precision behind all of life parallels the holiness of God. Years ago, at West Point, I learned of the catastrophe and death that could result from one lie. What is justice but full responsibility for all you've done and the consequences thereof. Hell makes sense, when one integrates these concepts, a place where you suffer to the extent that all of the full consequences of your sins warrant, not simply the immediate consequences but all of them over time.

I know you are sincere but you are not familiar enough with scripture to know the truth...God is love - love may punish but never torture and especially for eternity - if that were true then Hitler was a misunderstood saint. Hell is based on the word Gehenna and that referred to the garbage dump of Jerusalem where the carcasses of animals were thrown...so either the fire consumed you or when the fire went out the worms or maggots would devour you---so hell fire is a place where the fire consumes you as stated in Isa. 66.24 ...Eze.28: 18-19 says that satan will be consumed by fire and be no more KJV..MAl. 4:1-3 says the same regarding the wicked as does PSalm 37.20....do yourself and educated favor and read the book the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge as he addresses the challenging scriptures that speak of hell -- what is eternal are the consequences of hell fire but not the fire ---in Jer. 17:27 it says that gates of Jerusalem would burn with unquenchable fire but they are not burning today for unquenchable means the fire will not be put out until the object in the fire is consumed and turned to ashes - and unquencahble fire is what the wicked endure in Mt. 3:12 but it will go out once they are consumed...So sad, you are sincere but not educated in scripture and thereby turn people off God as a monster and some people commit suicide - others live a life of deep anxiety and insanity...Jesus said love your enemies so when did he change his mind about that - as I said - read the book. I could give you more examples if you'd like.

So recently I came to find god. I always knew about him was raised Christian but I didn't have a relationship with him. I asked god to come into my life and I had said those words before in church. Because they tell you to say that, but I didnt really mean it when I said it then. or if it did mean something to me it wasnt important at that time. This time though when I said it I meant it I wanted it.and right when I said it I felt like something come around me, if i was to describe the feeling it felt warm and I just felt comfort real comfort. Shortly after this happened all these signs and people came into my life or caught my attention, to direct me to the places I needed to go to learn about god. So many coincidences and odd occurrences that it felt to me like god must be talking to me through these strange things that kept happening and connecting me with more Christians to learn from. So I thought if it is god trying to communicate with me I should pray to him and build a relationship with him. Talk to him about my problems and fears or my triumphs too. I felt this would be helpful to pray to god, and so I picture god when I talk to him. Not what god looks like but what god is and I picture kindness and love. I feel that god is love, this being I am praying to is like a father to me. so it really bothered me that I dont understand hell an eterinity seperated from god suffering. Why wouldnt god want to try to give them a second chance and save them. Rescue those poor people from their anguish and torment. Maybe there is something that I dont understand that stops him from being able to do that. I just the father I picture when I pray would always give people chances to redeem themselves. so I really want to ask people am I wrong in thinking of god in this way as a loving caring father? Leaving people forever lost does not fit with that image and that troubles me. I want to understand more about who god really is. To grasp why he can't rescue those lost people. I also would like to ask people to help educate me on what is necessary to be saved. As it was explained to me you just have to accept Jesus as your savior he died for me so that I can have life everlasting. However, I heard other people say that you also have to ask for forgiveness. If you don't ask for forgiveness you die with sin and your not saved. Then another thing I heard was you have to also be baptized. If your not baptized you can lose your soul. So im not really clear hearing all these different things what actually is required to accept and be saved. If hell is what happens if im wrong about what I believe about god I'm so fucking terrified. so anyone who can educate me please do, I really want to know and understand more

All that matters to me is that Hell is a place where God isn't. He can not abide to be in the presence of evil. The burning and the torment don't and have never mattered to me. I have never been fearful of my God, as He is kind and loving. I have lived hell here on Earth, with the exception that my God HAS BEEN WITH ME! I have lived a life where my own mother not only hates me (because i am a male) and has actively been working in my life to make sure i never succeeded or had any joy. I know kids say that all the time, but i have specific incidences in my life that all go back to her. She, literally stole a scholarship from me by stealing my sheet music as I slept the night before the tryout. She has interfered in my marriage and divorce to the point that my own kids won't speak to me. She has lied and forced my father to beat me for over a decade then spread those lies (with the help of my sister, two aunts and a grandmother) throughout my family. I am handicapped now, and that goes back to my stolen scholarship. No, my hell has been here but my reward will last for eternity. God is good, kind, loving and caring and my time here is short. I will do His work while I am here, no matter the obstacles. The path to Hell is wide, well trodden and easy, the path to our GOD is narrow and filled with rocks and thorns and less traveled. THAT IS THE path I will walk for the rest of my days because I will get to live with God afterwards, and I pray that more will follow that path with me.

Dennis - there is no place as hell - only annihilation of the sinner - you won't get to heaven riding the back of fear - you either love God and his character or you won't get there

Dennis, no pastor can save you. The Bible clearly teaches in order to go to heaven you mush be Born Again. That entails believing in the sinless life, substitutionary death, burial and resurrection of Yahshua (real Hebrew name of Jesus Christ). This is the only payment for our sins and the ONLY way to go to heaven and not hell. We also must repent. Repenting is acknowledging we are sinners, and turning from that sin. Unless we believe and repent, we are doomed to be in hell forever in agony. Being born again is believing that Yahshua has been sent from the father (Yahweh) and is the only sacrifice for sins. The father sent the son to die to redeem all those who 1. Believe and 2. Repent. Believe and repent. Get a bible and read the new testament to see exactly how the bible agrees with this in entirety.

Firstly Thank You for the fantastic sermon. Just to let you know, that I have listened to so many people stating that they have been to hell and that demons and satan torments the people that are there. Many times I have responded explaining that hell is a place where satan and his demons will go not rule and once there you cannot come back. I have no idea why so many people think hell is the ruling kingdom of satan.

Honey read your Bible, God says or either on Gods side or the devil. We either go to heaven to live forever, or those who have not been saved will got to hell forever. Tormented for rejecting God.
