Huawei´s customer service in Mexico is SUPERB! Amazing Service, they have a 1 hour to inspect/repair promise, and here in mexico they offer variety of Huawei activities, such as Photography classes and small gatherings to show new stuff or tips and tricks to those new to the EMIU ecosystem. Same as me, almost 4 years = 2 phones, and...... amazingly... since then, it crashed (it made a reset itself) only 4 times..... and it shuted down only 3 or 4 times Facebook! It's quite remarkable........ And with 3Gb of ROM I've always around 2Gb free....... once again... remarkable!!! And that got better with a simple update... 😮 woowww!

I bought mine through my phone company in New Zealand and they have amazing customer service. Even in a country as small as mine they're efficient and good at what they do. When I got my most recent phones I kept their screen protectors on for as long as I could because they're honestly so amazing. On my old phone I finally decided to get a new screen protector, dropped it on accident and my screen shattered even though I've dropped my phone from much higher places many times before that. Their headphones are also really nice and I wish I could find a place to buy them.

This is exactly the kind of thing I needed to hear. I bought a Mate 10 Pro a couple of months ago having done intensive research for a few weeks. I sifted through so many articles and videos and decided to buy despite the evident lack of decent customer service in the UK. My wife is from Shenzhen and introduced me to the brand. Anyway, the phone is perfect and now there is the prospect of the kind of service you describe I'm happier, even if it takes time. Actually a phone service centre in Watford, UK told me they were talking to Huawei so it seems things really are happening. I think Huawei are def going places. I bought a P8 Lite (2017) as I don't spend a lot on phones and it's one of the best phones I have had and excellent value for £120. I've noticed several people at work have Huawei phones now, the only way I can describe them are Apple / Samsung flagship quality without the price. I'd buy another next time.

EinPercy Was mir gefällt ist, dass Huawei selbst smartphone für die mit low Budget machen. Apple baut nur Flaggschiffe, Samsung baut zwar eine J und A klasse diese wird aber nicht beworben und so erfährst du auch nichts über die Handys. Huawei macht alles richtig. Huawei schaltet oft Werbung für die Lite,Pro und Normale Version gleichzeitig bzw alle 3 Smartphone version gleichzeitig. Alleine das Argument dass die Lowbudget Smartphones werben, wird Huawei bald zum Marktführer machen.

This was really interesting. We have a similar after sales service support here in South Africa. However the quality of after sales service does not seem to be on par with that of Austria but perhaps that is more to do with restrictions in the calibre of employees, whom the company is allowed to choose to employ in South Africa, due to having to adhere to strict regional demographics (Employment Equity), than the actual original set up and infrastructure of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

@Green Earth - I have been slow to speak out on any of that issue until I had more info and it appears that Huawei recently had their CEO carted off to jail. The US has an issue with the company for a few reasons. It seems that Huawei had been caught stealing some sort of secrets from T-Mobile in addition to the face unlock works in such a way to be an 'always on' for collecting data. I have been looking to replace my older Android phone with a Huawei but am hesitant for the time being.

I have a nova 2i and it is out of the warranty period I live in Thailand and left it all day in my black 4x4 that was out in direct sunlight the battery expanded and pushed the screen out a little I went to the service center in pattaya and it was tested and fixed in 1 hour with a replacement battery at a very good price I am very very happy with the customer service and the phone I will upgread it when I am able to afford doing so in the past I have had top of the range iPhone and Samsung I will never go back to them.

I have Huawei P10 plus 1 year and 3 months only and the sim slot 2 can't read. I went to the their repair center, they told me since they dont replace sim slot and since it is connected to the motherboard. I need the motherboard that cost 28,000. That is merely half the price of the unit. Are they insane?

In Europe where everyone have a Huawei modem, and yes the antennas are also from Huawei, the reception is very scaled. Fast internet on both LTE and optic fiber. We use Huawei, and buy apple products for the fun of it.

not really there is a lot of things Huawei. most of Huawei teleco revenue comes from domestic market especially chinese army most of Europe Cellular network made by EU companies like ERICSON-world leader- NOKIA THALES if you take Huawei revenues from domestic market you will see. if Huawei put EU companies in risk The European Parliament would protect these companies don't you think.

Yes, they would protect them, Huawei it's not that large yet but we have countries in EU. Bulgaria, Romania and other former communist countries that had a very good relationship with China, they gave priority to Huawei. Even now, all internet, TV and mobile providers runs exclusively with H logistics. In 2018 Samsung support came in some areas, Sony...it's a mix. Italy is another country where you see Huawei monopolize.

Yes i replaced samsung 6 edge with p20 lite. Half the price of similar samsung. 279 uk pounds. Against 599. Its brilliant and feels great too.

some of the google play apps such as google maps don't work properly anymore on my huawei phone since all this trade war started a few weeks ago, also can't locate HDB anymore

very nice in depth look at huawei service. and although i am a huawei fan, something i hate about its smartphones is that once a newer phone arrives, they kinda forget about old ones. when mate 10 pro was new and i bought it, it regularly received security updates every month but now that p20 has arrived, no updates whatsoever. even their budget phones have received face unlock but their flagship phone mate 10 pro still doesn't have it. if they fix this issue, they might become the biggest smartphone makers in the world
