No one is protecting us, and worse, they are actively working to misinform us. You two are both brilliant, and I learn something new from Sarah in every podcast. In this one, she points out the danger of running out and buying a supplement based on one interview, something that I'm guilty of myself. That was so informative. Morley is a great guest to have and you always ask the good, pointed questions.... 2 questions if I could- Just to confirm, for a healthy Carnivore, drinking out of a 100% copper vessel a good idea to get a bit of copper..... And, could you ask Morley about Raw Milk and its Lactoferrin? Is getting Lactoferrin a good reason to drink Raw Milk? Lactoferrin is a protein of the Transferrin family. It is bactericidal, anti viral, immune regulation and most importantly for this discussion binds excess Iron. Another benefit of raw milk of course is its lower Deuterium of 135. Raw Milk hydrates better than water. And it does not engage the Randall Cycle up to 1L/day. Even if had with some beef. Thank you!

It's an interesting talk, and I always enjoy learning something new. But I do get tired of what can feel like reductionist or narrow thinking. There are too many people who come to understand one factor and see it as being the center of everything. Not that I dismiss this perspective out of hand. It no doubt is true that certain things really are super important and central. For example, Chris Palmer makes a compelling argument for mitochondria being key to interlinking most major diseases. So, maybe Robbins is right that copper should be given priority, and from now on copper is on my radar. But my wariness is similar to what others say about Jack Kruse obsessing over light, to the exclusion of almost everything else. By the way, I love that you advertize LiteWater. I get my deuterium-depleted water from them. And I mix it with Mountain Valley spring water. I'm so addicted to it now that even the plain spring water, no matter how high quality, no longer is quenching. That is a great business model. How can I ever go back to normal levels of deuterium in my water? They need to quickly start building more facilities to produce more of this magical water. Supposedly, all the present facilities combined can only provide to 10,000 people. Related to that, you and Stephanie Seneff have convinced me to begin ditching my supplement regimen, out of concern for adding in deuterium. All in all, if one forced me to take a side, I'd go with deuterium being one of those major factors that is upstream of so much else. It would've been nice if you could've questioned Robbins more about how copper relates to these other factors: light, water, deuterium, etc. I'd particularly appreciate minerals being put into the context of quantum biology, including but not limited to their role in structuring water.
@Thebusysuperhuman7 ай бұрын
I 100% agree - I don’t believe in magic molecules or single factors. We have recorded part 3 and part. 4 I’m collecting questions. That’s also very important as I take my quantum health very seriously so that will have an impact on my labs as I still have many many more to go over

As someone who has struggled with very high ferritin ( up to 550) over a number of years, I found this fascinating. Managed to get it down to 100 with blood donation and carnivore diet. I'm now not giving blood and will test what has happened to my ferritin. Is the inference that ferritin will drop in the presence of copper? Could the carnivore diet assist in lowering ferritin because it is higher in copper?
@Thebusysuperhuman8 ай бұрын

Morley is a joke

Yea need to be careful with his assertions

@@Cenot4phhis whole paradigm is based on Repeat (Ray Peat) and then his attempts to confirm the importance of ceruloplasmin and negative aspects of iron overload. He then extrapolates this foolish starting point into what he posits as concrete health advice. If you read his RCP it is riddled with poor health advice (for the majority), yet he has attained guru status among the desperate seekers. I asked him once for nutritional advice. He replied to follow the Weston A Price foundation recommendations. The guy is winging it (as most are in this space) and too many are happy to jump on his magic carpet. Well meaning no doubt, but severely lacking self awareness.

Nobody is completely right and nobody is totally wrong about everything

@@Thebusysuperhumanbut we agree that we have wrong advice and then ‘tailored advice which can be correct’. What annoys me about a lot of these ‘gurus’ is their lack of awareness, and their disregard for the people that their self aggrandising theories do not help, or worse, cause more harm to. On the ascent of the mountain of truth there are many off roads leading people away from the summit. Heck, even near the sunmit their are snakes to slide back down. The secret is to soar like an eagle above the whole mountain on the thermals of congruent truth and see as many of the paths as possible, pitfalls and ladders for each genotype in any given situation. 😊

@@Thebusysuperhumanand….’completely wrong’ is a definite position when people do not employ scientific language correctly. I can give many examples of gurus that were wrong…dead wrong…take, Ramiel Nagel….Charles Poliquin…Andreas Moritz….the Gersons….wrong due to either ignorance or due to nefarious intent. Morley’s approach is interesting, no doubt, also, I believe that he means well….but his advice is extremely dangerous to a subset of people….you want some concrete examples? He recommends Whole Food Vitamin C supplementation….he recommends stabilised brown rice bran….he recommends bee pollen……he bases his entire life’s work on a throw away statement by the unscrupulous ‘Ray Peat’, working in a top-down backwards manner…you surely see the issue here. Copper….a parsimonious term, I am sure you would agree. I observe that he now allies himself with Jason Hommel on many things copper…oh dear. Remember that ego is the enemy….and half of these people seek notoriety and fame ahead of going fully down the rabbit hole, not realising the extensive warren system that they are blind to. Having said that, I appreciate your good self, and a handful of others. The unfortunate thing about KZbin, is that it encourages people to churn out content…where that be pure truth or diversion. Most goyim are unable to discern and so follow, spending money that they don’t have due to their aspirations for health and to find their saviour. It can be quite cultish
