The main attraction for me is to go to the Legion of Honor Museum to see their various exhibitions and the Jewish Holocaust Memorial, and the Lincoln Street Mosaic Stairs at the end of California St. dead ends at Lincoln Park, one block west of 32nd Ave. They have a pretty nice Andronicos and CVS a block away.

People familiar with it probably don’t. But people who have never been to the city before wouldn’t know either way.

@@austinklar SUGGEST listen the jazz lp by HAROLD LAND, ts, called Land' End, roun 59. Sets the mood ... bedduhhh than any rappers evvuhh wish they could .. Just read a novel IN FINNISH, from 1933 by a lady writer HILLEVI KOSKI, called Omantunnon Tiellä. Describes in detail a troubled family tale of a finnish-american orthopedic surgeon, who own a house there, but doesn t mention the street. A totally 4gotten small 190pp minor mood-masterpiece, has also some dubious, shady chracters w shakedown motifs. Wish I had been there then - not translated, form the WSOY = the major publishing firm still here 🇫🇮 PS. The red Trouble House seems finally sold, 16 mill ? Covered up, under tarps, the 1 w staircase to the sea. Wish they ll have the sense now to change the color to normal. What a troubled process ..
