Number 2 looks like a nightmare with the mould and damp issue. Great ideas re long term rental and renting it out.

Bali used to be cheaper than oz . Those prices are crazy !

Unfortunately if you want to be close to everything and beachside , that’s what the prices are If you go on the other side of bypass you can get around $20-25k for a decent place
