you’re one of those creators that I’m really looking forward to watch, like “oh good tazzy phe uploaded can’t wait to be done with work so I can go home and listen to her video while I cook tonight!” type of creator I’d miss you if you were gone from the platform, I absolutely get it bc youtube is very tough even just as a hobby or part time job, but yeah I think your videos are cool and as long as you stay, I’m ride or die ahah happy holidays!

Hey Tazzy, this is probably my 3rd ever youtube comment and I want to write it to let you know that I absolutely appreciate your efforts in blessing us with your content. I completely understand that it doesn't feel great to not visually see as many fruits from your work as others but I honestly think that what you're doing is so so valuable and I'm making Du'a that Allah will reward you for your work and everything good that you've brought about. I will always click on your videos because I love listening to your thoughs (on basically any topic). It's always relatable, it's always funny, it's always entertaining but it's also always deep and meaningful and not just run-of-the-mill surface-level scrolling content and I really appreciate that. Thank you for providing me with original food for thought which I almost ALWAYS share with my friends sooner or later and I will try and help your channel grow even a little bit by recommending it to my friends more and sharing your videos. Salams & lots of love from germany :)

Recent subscriber here: As a non-Muslim man, I don't believe I am the "target demographic," but the community you've fostered here is very supportive and positive. I really appreciate your nuanced takes and candidness surrounding difficult topics. Your videos are down-to-earth and very approachable, and that's what I love about this channel. Don't give up. You are making a positive influence!

I think almost all of the people i really love watching on youtube have good personalities, are fun and are worth listening to! And you are one of them. I would say the conventionally good looking people can make us follow them with a thumbnail itself, its true but you hardly go back to watching their videos, you never wait for their videos, if their content is meh. You are getting a lot better at this, the editing, the creativity is poppin! Please keep doing this at whatever pace is good for you at the moment ❤

You know what sis… It took me two days to get through the video (I get interrupted a lot and then forget to come back to things 😅) and I’m glad it did. Here’s some things that I took away from your video: 1) We are multiplicitous - We have many different sides to us, many different feelings and emotions, even at times different personalities. 2) We grow, learn and change more often than we realize. 3) Your feelings are valid, even if no one else gets them. 4) How nature has affects on our mental wellbeing. 5) No one can ever question your work ethic, your drive, your tenacity, your passion seriously. Because you got the years, the content and the achievements and accolades to back it! Alhamdulillah and may Allah bless you with a 1000x better Ameen. 🤲🏽💚

I hope this may help. I feel your strength lies in offering social critique as the South Asian diaspora navigates the challenges the 2nd/3rd generations have that other groups cannot relate to, at a time when such issues are largely overlooked by mainstream commentary. However, I feel when offering social critique its important to include other voices on said issues to balance out perspectives. I feel you could make your channel a safe space to have these much needed discussions. Its heartbreaking to hear some comments destroy you, I'm sorry to hear you feel like this. Sending you a virtual hug. Thank you for your content.

I'm sorry you're starting to feel disheartened and i really hope that you continue anyway (cuz i think people are sleepin on your channel). Also ppl on the internet can be so cruel and disgusting and i am sorry that people have gone out their way to make racist comments on your appearance. Of course my opinion doesn’t mean much (new subscriber) but in general i find that it’s nice just to have another desi person out there, you know see desi faces, desi people just like myself, just to see regularly. So while you’re seeking validation, I feel I am my self. It’s hard living without it.

And I just want to add, that I understand your struggle of being well into your craft and still not feeling that you got it quite right. SubhanAllah… But if I may give some words of encouragement… You do have a common theme that runs deep throughout your content and something that has been there the whole time, “the human experience”. Through your worldview that you share with us. To me whatever you have ever made, has been brush strokes on your life’s masterpiece. And the reason why it does yet make sense, is because your not yet done painting your masterpiece. It’s only done once you leave this life. Isn’t it true that the best paintings have light and dark? Many different colors and textures? So too is life Alhamdulillah and there is good in every situation for the believers 😊. Enjoy the process sis the process of becoming and discovering you. Much love sis to you and yours 😘🤲🏽💚

I guess I never really thought about your channel that way. I guess you really do cover a wide variety of topics but I don't know, to me it does make sense? Real life isn't really organized into echo chambers and algorithms like a lot of social media content is, and I feel like your channel really reflects that. In fact, I think it's very nice that your space isn't segmented into a tiny bubble like a lot of peoples'. It can be very maddening, honestly, especially when there's things like what's happening in Gaza right now and people are just living in their own separate fantasy worlds... I think your channel makes a lot of sense b/c it's essentially just you going through the stages life like a lot of people do. Social life, religion, identity, culture, all in one place. You don't always see that, especially done so honestly and genuinely.

Don’t ever feel discouraged or bad about yourself, your channel appeals to the minority intellectual audience. Other channels may grow faster it’s bc they appeal to heard mentality sheep audience. Think of your audience as a few decent ppl over thousands of zombies. iA hope you will get the fruits of your labor 🤗

I discovered you many, many years ago, making funny skits with your friends... I witnessed you growing and become someone I am still interested in listening to. Yes, your subjects are all over the place, but that's what I like. Life is about more than one subject. Understandably, not making great money here might make it difficult to put all this time and work in. I get it. Whatever you choose to do in future, I trust your judgement. Just remember that you inspired and guided so many people along the way, and all of this was worth it. Thank you for diving deep into sensitive subjects, for giving us so much of your time, for staying true to yourself, for making us think. P.S. You are absolutely beautiful, inside and out. People who attack others like this, especially online, are usually miserable and have low self-esteem. They try to get everyone around to lower to their level. Don't. Keep your chin up, cause you're amazing.

I want to still be watching you when we have wrinkles and zimmer frames ... I'm gonna stop now

It hurts my heart to see you put so much pressure on yourself to be positive and also feel like those nasty comments are somehow true. You're a beautiful, ambitious, and caring young woman from what I see. But I also get how it feels to believe in comments like that. I have body dysmorphia and it's always been a battle with my brain to not distort how I look so I can justify cruelty to myself. You're allowed to feel negative things it's just what we end up doing with them at the end of the day. I think no matter what you chose to do/talk about on whatever platform people who care about what you have to say will follow. Wish you the best in figuring out what is your best course of action and may Allah bless you with support and strength.

Man, the world is a dark dark place. People are just so mean and I'll never relate to what content creators go through. Trolls are just a loud minority. The ones who appreciate you and love your content are typically the ones who stay silent. I think we as a collective need to bring positivity to the creators who bring value and a perpsective. I don't watch your videos much but your rant about the trolls hit me... no one deserves to be hurt this way. F them... you do you. But also take a mental health break, you earned it

I love your channel and your videos, they help me so much to feel seen as a pakistani-canadian woman in her mid 20s. I feel like you are my sister, cousin. Its so important to see diverse south asian representation in the media because we are still lacking it, at least in north america. Your mentioning of the comments on your appearance - i too internalized so many comments about my appearance growing up, my pakistani crooked nose, people telling me i was deformed, i spent so many years trying so hard to look different to fit in because i was ashamed of my pakistani features. i admit i had cosmetic work done even, and regret it now because i look at you and see how beautiful pakistani features are. Our unique beauty is not appreciated enough. i appreciate you and see you!

The thing about mentorship is that the mentors aren't supposed to tell you what to do. That's not their job. If they are doing this, it's not a good thing. Every situation is different. Mentors should be asking you questions you have yet to ask yourself. They should help you think differently, consider new angles, etc. That way, you can come up with a solution.

If you ever work out this commitment issue around channel direction then please share. I feel like you know what you need to hit the numbers but you don't want to do it, that it cheapens the content, or you don't want to commit to it that hard? I struggle with a similar issue. I have this hipster attitude of self-sabotage over everything I do where I struggle to stick to a particular theme or finish a particular piece of work. I have loads of great things that I've 89% built that people have given me extremely positive and enthusiastic feedback on, and then I just drop them instantly and I can't explain it. I refuse to succeed. A great example of this is I've been doing standup recently, enjoying it, getting great reception but I've stumbled across a stupid idea that I won't put down that is extremely self-destructive: I don't want a stage name. Now I don't mean I want to use my real name but rather I don't want a name or a brand. Or if I have a stage name then I will change it every single year or performance. And I love the idea, I'm even writing a set on it because its a little funny when you explore how absurd life becomes without a name and having your name open creates lot of opportunities for jokes (and I _love_ making up new stupid names). This is combined with my probably therapy level issues around my real-name, but its self-destructive and it creates hesitation. I genuinely wonder if any of this is linked to the fact that these are all hobbies for me because I have a great full time job that I really enjoy, and pays good, much like you mention how you also have a full time job. Btw, I know positive comments are but flecks of sand in the breeze compared to the breezeblock sized power of negative comments; but you do look absolutely beautiful, so if you ever question that again then I think you have to replace your eyes or smth cause they ain't working. I have a similar issue as I am half-English and my English side of the family mostly look like ferrets or something and it took me _way_ too fucking long to realise I am actually pretty af, despite dating apps doing their level best to try to deny me that truth.
