I thought that was INSANE. They took her crutches and shit too. What they did to her should be considered a CRIMINAL act and should have had some sort of consequences (perhaps a fuck ton of community service), but the sad thing is that those girls probably never got in trouble for it. I hope they can all see where Molly is now, and that they all feel ASHAMED of what they did to her when they were young.

Thank you Niki for making this video with Molly. I am a 15 year girl in high school who is also a victim of being legally blind. This video is amazing because the Rods and Cones in my eyes don’t work and I use the corners of my eyes to see. My eyes cannot look straight and I do not use a guide dog but my sight is getting worse and my life is only getting harder but I’ve been through so much that the hardships I know I’m going to face in the future won’t be as bad as my past. P.S if there is any spelling mistakes or something just know that this was voice recorded and typed so sorry. And I only have 48% of my sight remaining.

Absolutely!! All the love and support is absolutely phenomenal!!! People need to see that spreading love is so beautiful and heart warming. To say or comment a positive message will not only fill your body with warmth and happiness but also the next person or persons. I’ve suffered since birth and have learnt to deal with the hardships. And I for one have also been abandoned by so called friends but don’t let theses things fool you. Having to put up with so much for the past 10 years has only made me emotionally and physically stronger...so no matter who you are and what you’re going through just know that you’re not alone... As cliche as that sounds it’s true. I wish I had known and believed this earlier because I have come and become this person that I am today after surrounding myself with positivity and happiness.

I actually feel like I hope tge bullies have found their peace and grown up that way they won't be hurting anyone else ever again. I hope that they have learned from their childish, disrespectful, abusive, unacceptable and harmful ways and actions and are now the kinda people who would stand up for bullied people and help others and show kindness. "Hate cannot destroy hate only love can do that, darkness cannot destroy darkness only light can do that."
@halliesim246 жыл бұрын
Nicō:i2 first of all that is not true, bullies have lives too, but most of the time their lives are really messed up so they take it out on others. I do think that bullying is wrong but people mature and they shouldn’t be punished all their life. They should be punished till it stops and then they will mature. So all in all bullying is wrong but people to SOMETIMES grow up.

A ex friend of my got Molly Burke to come to my school and talk about her going blind, usually a lot of presentations at my school are religious and boring because I go to a catholic school. But this one was different. I had never heard of Molly Burke before this so I had no idea, but hearing her story was inspiring because I have always felt different because I suffer with high functioning austim, and was builled a lot. Hearing her story and how happy she was made me realize that highschool is only there for a short time and then you will go to college and find the people who like you for who you are and have things in common with. It made me appreciate life just a little bit more.

Niki, I think you should do a second part talking to her mom. My daughter has epilepsy and I know there is a completely different story from her view. My daughter has different fears and goals as I do for her. Like is her mom scared of her safety like from bad scary people or did sh cry when she left her alone the first time. I have guilt from my daughter hitting her head once, could that be the reason she has epilepsy, we know sooo little about the brain. Maybe it's to deep for what you are trying to do, I am just so happy that these different stories are reaching different people with adversity and others can learn that bullying someone for being different is cruel and can cause more harm then they think. Bullies are people that are insecure themselves and putting someone else down makes them feel power ( power that they don't have in their lives) BUT if the others around wouldn't put up with it it would take away that power the bully has, so just know one voice sticking up for someone could change that person's world and that is awesome.

Love this series. So true and honest. Very relatable. It’s so awful how kids can be. No one deserves that. Two years after being diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, I was in the cafeteria at my first day in high school. Someone decided it was funny to trip me in a trash can full of food. At least 20-30 were in that room and NO ONE even my friend there of the time, helped me out or clean me off. They just laughed. I’m 29 and I went through a lot to get to the person I am now who’s happy and bubbly and confident.

I love this series so much, it's giving viewers the deeper side of their favorite creators that shows how human they are. And each one of these episodes helps someone out there going through it. Thank God for you Niki, showing the raw and honest stuff out here

Thank you so much for meeting her, sitting down and talking to her. She is so amazingly strong and beautiful the way she is and she deserves so much for trying to represent and bring awareness to blindness. Love you both.

Niki, this series is amazing! It’s so realistic. It shows the reality side of youtubers. Everyone thinks that youtubers have a perfect life, yet you make these videos and it shows what these people are going through. Thank you for sharing these, I can definitely relate. I have anxiety issues, and this series shows that others can relate. Thank you for sharing, much love -SieJ (CJ)

What an inspiring video! Molly has come a long way, and like she said "life will get better". Best quote ever! Thank you so much Niki for making this series! It lets us know that everyone, even creators got through hard times. I really appreciate the way you're using your platform. Continue doing what you're doing, dear. Have a good night!

This had me in tears. I watch Molly. I already knew a lot of the things she talked about here. But you dig deeper with her. And it’s shocking the things you don’t realize about a person. About everyone around us.... thank you for doing this series if for no other reason than to help us all understand that we aren’t alone in our struggles even if they aren’t exactly the same.

Niki, this is absolutely beautiful! I love your mission to spread awareness about mental health and how you talk so candidly about real issues we all face yet ignore as a society

I love how niki tells her when she wants a hug! Because obvs molly won’t know when a hug is coming or something, so I think it’s really cool how niki does that

I really wanted to hug Molly I cried during the video and the fact how Molly went through all these things and she's still going and not giving up made feel inspired! I am so proud of Molly!

Molly I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now and this video in particular made me tear up. I wanted to reach out and hug you after talking about the horrendous bullying you suffered. You should be incredibly proud of yourself for accomplishing so much! You turned terrible things into something positive--you have a business, you are educating people on what it's like to be blind, about blindness in general, how to make lemonade out of lemons, squeezed more juice out of those lemons (for example-how your friends will sometimes let you drive their car), and etc. As Taylor Swift would say in her song, "Mean", you're living in a big city and everyone else is mean!
