Yep, do the fuel pump as well as the ignition. Pretty much at that point it limits it down to thieves who either have a tow truck or stole one.

my dads got one in his 383 swapped jeep, plus its got a switch for the ingition hidden too. even if you know how to hotwire those old chevy motors its gonna take you quite a bit to find the correct wires. hid the starter solenoid to so they cant by pass it. he had it stolen once when it was stock lol

My dude my condolences . Similar to your situation, I had a 78 Chevy l`wb custom deluxe baby blue/white panel, 383 paired with 700r4 3200 stahl and b&m stage 3 shift kit. stolen out of my driveway. They literally rolled it out of my driveway and to the end of the block to start it. All I ever found so far is the doors. I had it sold in 4 days for 10,700. Sucks

This was the similar sort of situation that got a stereo system stolen when I was younger. Just got caught lacking on a night i worked a double shift, I was extra tired and didn’t want to fight my window up all the way. My window motor was going out and decided to stop with window down like 2 inches and instead of taking the time to take panel off and get the window up. Next morning I walked out to my trunk wide open. Glad you didn’t decide to give up on building your dream though. Grind harder and build it better man you’ll be happier

As someone who put over 20,000 into their own vehicle, getting “agreed value policy” on this 240! Agreed value, policies, essentially covers everything you’ve done to the car and the car value itself. I brought my last insurance company all the receipts for the work done to my truck and all the parts I put on it and was able to get my 2001 Cummins covered for $35,000.

Someone tried stealing my RX7 Fc out my driveway not to long ago. I have a feeling someone tried following me home. They came at 3am before my grandma saw them trying to pick the lock and they scattered. After that I only parked in the garage. It was a scary feeling. I hope you don't have any trouble with the gopro but if it's shutting down with three bips it's overheating (that can also corrupt the file on the sd card) if you can get a insta360 they can also overheat but they don't shutdown also with a insta360 you can reframe the shots after filming

Hope you pull through man. I went through something relatively similar where the kia boyz took my mom's daily. Luckily we were able to recover it ourselves because of some airpods left in it had it tracked. The police did absolutely nothing other than mark the plates stolen, didn't even bother to recover it WITH it's location known. We jumped the toasted battery and drove off. During that the pure dread & pain of it being stolen & helpless was crazy even though it was a stock basic daily, i couldn't imagine how bad it'd be with a custom sports car.

All I have to say it gotta be someone you know, or know of where you keep your car. Parked my car in my back yard where you have to physically open the gate to see what kind of car is parked there. they took my ecu and recaro bucket seats. Another time I parked over night in the street just one time and they took my ecu again. Possibly neighbors/neighborhood knows someone that jacks people because there’s no possible way they just come out of no where.
