I still have another theory but I can't say for sure... There's another entity, like God, who has a smaller but more powerful effect on humans; another being that resides on the Sun. There's still something about Saitama's power that he either doesn't know about, missed, or is still hiding. ONE has already said he had a beginning and an end for OPM and everything we're seeing right now is to connect the two.

I’ll be so pissed if saitama loses his powers. It’s my least favorite thing about super hero shows is when they make the main character lose his powers. I hope they do it a different way. Like he doesn’t lose his strength he just falls ill or something else.. opm isn’t a normal show so I wish it wouldn’t follow the normal stereotypes that super hero shows do…..

i think that the cooked food is more important... even Sonic cooked the monster cells and they were ineffective. Saitama always cooks his meals and this removed the monsterizing effect from them

Saitama is actually the personification of Heru not Ra. Heru is the Neteru of victory The God that win in war before even approaching the battlefield. Hence, the word "Hero". Who by definition alone is predetermined inevitable victory.

@@devonjordan853 They're are different tiers in the Pantheon of Egyptian Gods/Goddess. Ra, Imin/Amon, and Ptah are the first Trinity of Gods. They are the first 3 Gods (Neteru) to create themselves. In the Neteru cosmogony there are only 2 types of Gods~ Created gods and Self-created Gods. Isis/Auset, Aishat, Horus/Heru and Osiris/Wrs are considered the second Trinity. Gods that were created by other gods. The latter are the Neteru that are considered closest to flesh&blood human beings. Saitama's powers are growing at a vast rate. And becoming like the Gods of the 1st Trinity in powers and abilities. In the Cosmogony it is said: "There is no God greater than Ra; Because he is anterior".

That duality of sun va moon concept exist in majority of manga Naruto and sasuke is another example based off Hindu gods I think but you can find that in majority of the manga main character and Rivals. I noticed that reoccurring theme a long time ago. Bleach ICHIGO AND ISHIDA Is another especially in the 1000 year blood arc

My theory is that the writer calls himself ONE, as in "the one above all", the ultimate creator of life, the one who decides the limits of the characters in a story or comic. and that the show being called one-punch man is the ultimate spoiler hidden in plain sight, Saitama(man) will punch ONE. He will ultimately break his limit so much, he will somehow break free from the comic and punch ONE in the real world. just like in deadpool kills the marvel universe. ONE seems to be really interested in the whole power scaling thing (destroying a planet with a sneeze etc). Creating a battle manga where the limit of someones power is always growing. This seems to me to be the ultimate power possible in a comic. Killing the ONE above all.

Almost seems like a story of battling the natural entropy of the universe. Where the ultimate end path to life is to breakdown until it is a uniform spread of energy and matter back to singularity(God).. and this story is an individual battle to secure itself in the universe defying it's natural progression. If you think about monsters they become monsters mainly due to obsession which they are losing their senses of self to their addiction like with crablante. Hmm.. I love your takes on one punch man. Very thought provoking. Quickly became my favorite anime by far!!!! One is truly gifted... I'm praying the anime speeds up. I need to see this animated!!!!!

I am starting to believe there is more to saitamas power then we know. He claims he got his strength from sticking to a rigurous work out, and fighting monsters as he got stronger, and breaking his limiter that way, but I believe there was a key event he's leaving out. I believe he somehow died or was extremely close to death fighting some monster and was granted a vision or dream from god. Where god offers him power for his loyalty, but instead of bowing down to or submitting to god, I believe saitama fought back, just as he did in his dream with the subtaranians. Since he was in that dream realm/world he probably was as strong as he wanted to be since it wasnt his physical body, I'm not saying he beat god but he probably damaged him and somehow came back from that realm to earth's realm. He most likely doesnt remember the dream since he has never brung it back up, and just thinks he's the same saitama.
