Very informative... Sir ,i wanted to ask something... Its a general question not related to any specific field.. Do certificates decide my ability? I mean if i don't have any but my degree and skills as well as good knowledge so will it matter? Now a days as u know that there is quarantine so all the institutes are closed... everything is running online...online classes online exams... similarly we have online webinars... certificates are also provided online.. Do they matter??? If somehow i don't get certificates..will i be eligible to get a good job in future?? Please reply to my that question sir... I'll be so thankful to you.

Certificates do not decide your ability. The degree, knowledge of concepts and skills learnt during the degree course are more important than the certificate. You can definitely get a job without having any extra certificate. However, certificates are a way to show that you have put effort to learn something else, apart from the curriculum. A few jobs might also ask for a specific certificate course (in case of lead auditor, the certificate is FSSC: 22000). But that usually does not happen for fresher jobs. Although certificates are non-essential, still they can enhance your profile in some cases.

Sir, I am an UG-II student in food technology n biochemical engg. And my seniors keep telling me that HACCP or fosTaC certificate courses are not very helpful for my level. It's helpful for industry professionals or PG students, so this may not help me in my recruitment. Is that true?

As I mentioned in the video, a certificate course on its own can not help in recruitment. It may improve the profile. HACCP and fostac courses can help of you want to go for a job in the food industry. But they can't guarantee a job.
