Thanks Joy. Listening to your guest reminded me why I enjoy listening to Peter Attia, he provides specific data and doesn't speak in general terms. I tried the joint and bone bio regulator Cartalax and unfortunately it did nothing for my arthritis or skin. I don't know why people recommend all of these different peptides, the only one you need is one that stimulates GH. GH improves pineal gland, thymus gland function, increases telomere length, improves skin etc, etc etc

Dry eyes and dry mouth are often clinical signs of low iodine. Of course, there can be other reasons, such as chronic dehydration. But low iodine is fairly typical, especially for those with hypothyroidism. You can experiment with a good quality kelp supplement, which is very inexpensive. For the long-term, this is better than using the high-potency Iodoral product because kelp has all of the factors and forms of iodine that the body needs to utilize. Iodoral will take care of the problem very fast from personal experience. However, I wouldn't suggest its continued use due to the high potency of 12.5 mg.
@JoyKongMD Жыл бұрын
@@higherresolution4490 Be very careful with iodine supplementation. Low iodine level is quite rare, whereas oversupplementation has become a real program leading to rampant hyper and hypo-thyroidism. @@JoyKongMDwhat are possible risks? I’m very uneducated in this space, so I apologize for such a simple question. @@JoyKongMD I wasn't referring to you Dr. Kong, but to your guest when you asked her where peptides come from, she went into that long spiel about everything to do with peptides except simply saying that peptides are plant and animal based. I was thinking that peptides were similar to stem cells, and I had to visit a couple of other sites before stumbling onto the answer. Afterward, after having thought about it, I surmised that your guest answered the question the way someone would answer it who is very well versed in the subject and in a way, that is essential and relevant from a learned perspective while assuming that any "dummy" would already know that peptides are a derivative of plant and animal life. What I'm saying is that I may have been a bit over critical due to other circumstances that have angered and frustrated me and I "may" have taken it out on your guest..., maybe. Probably even. I hope you don't intend to drag an apology out of me? I'm already in a bit of a turmoil.
