I hoped and prayed that things would either improve or the relationship would fizzle out. I knew she wasn’t right for him but I had to put my feelings in hold regarding the girl. Thankfully 12 months later she showed her true colours and he ended things with her. He was so shocked to know that I hadn’t said anything but allowed things to take their course . The problem with that is peter never left his mother and father he still lives at home he needs to ditch his parents home and get a place of his own I think if peter would of had a place of his own that people would of liked peter better .plus the fact that Peter's parents were choosing who he should be with .that actually happened with me my parents didn't like the guy I was dating but I didn't care what my parents though and I stayed with him and in my senior year of highschool I got engaged to him and then after I graduated from school we got married and we have been together for 33 years now. Oh he was a Christian and I wasn't but I did except the Lord after we got married so yes it could happen with peter and Madison just because he has backslid doesn't mean that he won't change his ways and be faithful to the Lord again . Let's not forget, many have been confused about the final 2 ... Peter has even suffered an injury to his head; which didn't help in his thinking; he is confused, he pause before saying ""yeah" about his love for Madison ...His mother truly liked Hannah Ann, but is overbearing & tried to get him to chose the one that was charming & very easy. Men love the chase, Hannah was too willing & easy. Most contestants want to "win" the prize, regardless ... Madi is confused; she kept leaving & returning; didn't know if she loved him, did not want him to sleep with others; etc...Unfortunately, she is demanding & will probably have a difficult time being married to Peter. He comes from a family of pilots & will never be home enough for her... It's possible she left 2 days before the final rose, because she was hoping to be the next bachelorette... If they love each other; it can work. Peter will have to go through many changes for that to happen... If he stays with Madi, his mother will have to accept it....Why did Chris go to Auburn? Why didn't he let them get together on their own; if they wanted to?

I was really disappointed in this season - Peter turned out not to be the man I thought he was. The ending was also one of the most disappointing - making it out to be some big thing and it just turned out that Peter showed us to be the little boy that he is! I didn't think Hannah Anne was mature enough but she really impressed me at the end in the way she stood up to Peter and she spoke very maturely and handled herself very eloquently. Madison is dull - no personality and I don't believe she is the one for him. I agree with Peter's mom!

I think I have thoughts about why Peter choose Madison over Hannah. In my opinion, he loves Madison but he's not *in* love with her. But Madison comes from a very religious lifestyle and I'm almost certain that people from her faith view things such as divorce as a sin. Peter knowing this may have felt safe choosing Madison because he knew that she'd never leave him. Even if things got impossibly hard. I think he did indeed have some growing feelings for Hannah but ran away from them. Hannah Ann is gorgeous and seems very sweet, so I'm sure she attracts a lot of attention. This may have made Peter worried that Hannah would eventually get bored of him and leave him for someone else. It's just a thought. When Chris asked Peter that night if he was in love with Madison he sat there quiet for a few seconds before saying yes and it didn't seem sincere to me.

All you have to do is look at both of them and the body language is screaming !!!! They did not hold hands or even sit close. She kepted a good distense even leaning away from him. She came back for herself. She likes being on t.v. she chose herself. I think he makes her sick. Even when she was in L.A she didn't have the feelings she had before he slept with the other girls. Why did Maddison go on the Bachelor? She would have been better off finding her partner through her church. I don’t see Peter going to church and going to missionary missions. Their religious beliefs don’t match. Too conservative. Maddison is also a hypocrite. She said she won’t accept Peter if he was intimate with other women. What happened? Peter was intimate and yet she took him. What she says doesn’t match her actions.

Madison should have NEVER gone on the show. As far as Peters mom, Madison was very disrespectful and should respect her elders. It’s just wrong the way this all ended!!! Peter hurt Hannah so deeply and he didn’t respect her at all. I do feel that if she had seen what we saw on tv she wouldn’t have stayed knowing she was second fiddle. Hannah was amazing, she said what she needed to say and I was very proud of her. I understand how people feel Peter’s mom Barbara was wrong but when you really look at the whole picture you see so much more. If your a mom and you see your son picking the wrong girl it’s one of the hardest things to watch. The way Madison behaved on the show towards Peter‘s mom was not acceptable, talk about being a Christian if you watched her face and her expressions it was not nice at all! I understand the way people feel on both sides but Madison never even apologized for the wait outside or even when Barbara brought it up she still did not apologize. The question is is Peter and Madison going to survive this??? Will the families ever be able to move past the hurt??? That’s something we will just have to wait and see. It’s just a tv show and they show you what they want to show you. One thing for sure don’t make this all about being a Christian!!!

I respect a woman who knows what she wants AND makes it clear. I respect Christian values AND makes them clear. Madi's1st mistake was not making it clear to Peter that she is saving herself for marriage. She stated a "threat" that if he was intimate, etc., she wouldn't stick around. Those of you who said she did not give him an ultimatum must not know what an ultimatum is because in my book that's an ultimatum. She signed up for a show which is famous for overnight dates in the infamous "Fantasy Suite" after a partial explanation/ultimatum then to show how strong her ultimatum was, showed up for the rose ceremony ANYWAY! I would have respected her a lot more had she stayed "honest to herself" and stuck to her guns. All of this staying honest to herself, not telling Peter's mother that she loved her son not telling Peter that she was saving herself for marriage not sticking to her word that she was going to walk away after she found out he was intimate with someone, what else is she not going to be honest to herself about? As far as Barbara is concerned, she was asked on national TV and she was honest on national TV. Maddie could have said then that she didn't realize how tired they were and apologized at that point. I don't believe and kissing ass, but I do know when the hold 'em, fold 'employees , walk away, and run and shes got a lot to learn. She did not do anything to lay groundwork for peace with her possible future family at all. I'd be surprised if they make it, though stranger things have happened. Chris is all up Madi's butt, so I doubt that she'll see what her big mistakes were.

Just finished watching....OMG!!! I can't believe Peter's mom said those things. I understand that ALL mom's love their children but this is taken it a bit far. I liked both women but Peter seem to let his mom's tears dictate his heart. All children must find their way in life and parents shouldn't choose partners for their kids. If Madison and Peter continue to have a great relationship...he will choose Madison, not his mother. If Madison and Peter have kids... What will Barbara do or say. Will her daughter in law feel comfortable letting Barbara and her husband spend time with them? What will their kids think of Barbara's comments about their mother? To me, Barbara's negativity and her BRF only serve to possibly eleinate her son and his possible wife( the ring guy was there) and kids. This can only spell disaster for Barbara! NEVER speak ill of your love ones media of any kind; they can never be erased!
