Best piece of kit that I have and would agree with you 100% about the quality!! If anyone is considering buying one - do not hesitate and get on the sale price - you will not regret it! Rubber belts do not last longer. Not in vehicles or anything else. They are quieter, easier to replace, cheaper to produce and have less to maintain in a open air system that isn't receiving constant lubrication like in your vehicle. But make no mistake, rubber will never last as long as steel.

I've made that statement about Rogue taking apart one of their racks and using it to make an air bike numerous times to various people, as it seems to really convey the true solid design and quality of this product. Mine hasn't seen quite the diversified use yours has, but I've also had ZERO issues with it. I haven't had to adjust or maintain a thing and have only had to work on it to add the wind guard, phone holder, and send the monitor back for Rogue to make full updates on for free (they now come this way upon purchase). They're expensive, but certainly not a purchase I've ever regretted once.

I do a lot of drills where I do one leg power pedaling and also routines where the speed is ramped up and down. I agree that the rogue is a well engineered piece of equipment and the drive belt is better for less noise smooth operation and maintenance. I disagree with your comment about the "Ghost Riding" on the assault bike. I have extensively used the rogue echo and assault bike and found the assault bike requires more torque when changing speed. This is what causes the so called ghost riding. When doing my drills that have speed changes involved it takes more effort on the assault bike, more to increase, and more to decrease speed as I actively put effort in to slow the assault bike down. Also I have seen a Rogue Echo where the fan blades have come away from the central hub.

Like to see you compare it to a NordiTrack "incline trainer". They serve the same purpose. For the home gym owner who doesn't want to go outside for a bike ride. It's still one of those pieces of equipment we don't really need but some of us buy one...because we can and bought into the home/garage gym culture. The NordiTrack "incline trainers" as the name describes "inclines" (and declines). The x11/x22/x32 can incline up to 40 degrees and decline -6 degrees. I'd think they would offer a better indoor cardio workout...if we hd that extra few grand to burn (vs. going outside for a jog/sprint or bike ride).

I bought one of these and the whole process with Rogue Europe was a hassle. Waiting for months for stock, finally got lucky and then the delivery was totally off schedule, came like 3 days earlier than planned so by sheer luck I was at home to accept it. Then had hours of issues assembling the arms - there are several reddit threads where people have similar issues. If the arms aren’t installed exactly right they generate lots of play and wobble during use. The whole design of the arm attaching system is just sloppy and unintuitive - it shouldn’t be possible to attach the arms incorrectly. Rogue customer support were generally unhelpful, though they did acknowledge these are design flaws with this first model and they will be corrected in future models. Overall it was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t buy from them again - though now that it’s assembled it’s decent enough. Seat has a consistent and annoying wobble but not a show stopper. If you’re looking at buying this and there’s no rush I’d maybe hold off and see if there are plans to release the newer version.

Love my Echo Bike. The ONLY complaint I have is that the pedals seem to fall apart way too quick. Otherwise, the bike has been a great add to our garage gym!!

If you have the original rubber pedals...you can contact Rogue and they will send you out all metal pedals for free

I hate my Echo bike, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. I just hate looking at the clock and thinking, "When is this torture going to be over?"

Based on your review, tons of reviews on Rogue, and watching Brian Shaw on his Echo, is what made me pull the trigger on my purchase of the Echo Bike. I now have a Love/Hate relationship with it. Would highly recommend this piece of equipment to everyone.

Nick, can you check your left handle, when you move it side to side, does it feel loose? My has a slight play, but it is the shaft that is moving so not a loose handle, only slightly and different from the right side. Let me know if you can, take care.

Robert Delorme , I guess it does have more flex to the left side then the right.
@robertdelorme87794 жыл бұрын
@@nickvoegele4395 Yeah it seems on the right the bearing inside is attached to the belt, makes it a little more snug and stable. On the left, the bearing sits on its own (sort of). The bike is amazing! Just a bit concerned about it, got an email to Rogue, I'll see what they say. Thanks for your time bro!

All good Nick, after a few emails back and forth with Rogue I finally realised that the arm was not fully on the shaft, I mean tapped over as far as it will go (it was off by 1/16) and once nice and snug and then fully tightened, no more wobble.

Everybody says this thing is built like a tank but I've never seen any pictures of the actual drive system, belts etc... Be nice to see what the most commonly worn out parts on this style of bike look like.

I wouldn't exactly call the Honda Ridgeline a truck. It's like saying a Subaru Baja was a truck.

These kind of bikes are the hardest cardio I've ever done. This thing literally kills me haha. Get a really good leg pump from it too.

Great review for those familiar with these types of bikes. You make one confident in tbe build, quality and value of it. Those not familiar with them, such as myself shoukd definitely make sure they're aware of the key purposes and diffences berween the various styles of exercise bikes. I've never done HIIT on a bike but I have been looking to get away from the high impact and perhaps danger of doing them on a treadmill so the Echo looks like a great alternative.

Coop! We need a breakdown of the three Bamboo Bars that are sold by Rogue! Can you make that happen? Thanks and keep up the great work!
