Yeah. Don’t have to perform. Just focus on enjoying the moment. Any sexual acts in the marriage bed with the mutual consent of husband and wife is honouring God. God does not even bother with our performance. He’s more interested in whether we are giving enough pleasure to our spouse. Because the ultimate goal of sexual intimacy as defined by God is for couples to enjoy it while procreating.

just one thing i would add, is that victims of sexual abuse/rape/etc are not unworthy or unclean. it can be kind of forgotten how that didn't get to be a choice for some people and how incredibly hard that is. the victim is not at fault, and placing the blame on the victim is never God's will. he feels the pain of the victim and weeps with them. God will never punish the victim for something they couldn't control. really good video, just thought it wanted to say that considering that victims of such abuse are unfortunately pretty common. it goes to show that something so amazing, satan can twist to abuse, hurt, and use to disrespect other children of God.

I like that analogy that Chad used where he described the peanut gallery as blind people. It's very true! We also have to remember that its not the people that we are fighting against when it comes to sexual purity but against Satan. So if those people are criticizing you for waiting until marriage, it helps to think of it as Satan criticizing you, which should make you want to stay pure all the more! I came out of an unequally Yorked relationship 2months ago although we did not engage in premarital sex i still feel like that there is a lot of baggage to unpack. He is 9years older than me and now I feel like I wasted his time too being in the wrong relationship. Thank y’all so much for these videos. I’m 25 now, but in my late teens I fell into that trap of “everyone is having sex so it’s okay if I do too”. I wanted to be loved so badly that I gave myself away to men that I shouldn’t have. I was so broken after a few years of this that I cried out to God and asked him to take away any desire for a relationship & sex. He worked a miracle in my life and set me free from the sin of sexual immorality, but he also he healed my heart in a way that I didn’t think was possible. All of this to say that, I now try my very best to share my story with younger men & women in the hopes they won’t go through what I went through. These videos are amazing, and are such a good resource to send to some of my younger friends. Thank you again 💕

Sex is never dirty in a marriage because it has been ordained by God as a sacred thing to do in a marriage. God made man and woman to be sexual beings and for us humans and other mammals, sex is special because we get to bond together through the joining of our sexual organs. God’s original purpose for a marriage is for us to avoid sexual immorality and lust by having only one sexual partner which God has joined to us so that we can enjoy His gift of sex. And there’s no more lust because the body of a man and a woman belongs to each other in a marriage. So they do not lust after another person but remove their clothes to be naked in front of each other and present their naked body to their spouse as an act of submission and sacrifice to enjoy the act of sexual intercourse while procreating if they so desire. Christian women need to remember that their body (especially their vagina) is a holy temple created by God and they should only share it with their husband. Besides, coming together as virgins means there’s no comparison about past sexual experience and both persons enjoy and learn together. And if a child is produced, at least the child will have a complete family and the couple will be free from STDs because they have not interacted with other people.

My take on it is people are better off waiting but testing the waters will tell them what they know after marriage: looks and chemistry matter less than your values and your heart. Sex will fill a void in people’s loneliness but it won’t unite them as much as they think they could if they don’t work on all the other aspects of their relationship. As mortal creatures, we aren’t meant to be perfect and God isn’t asking us to be perfect but to be aware we have emotions and spiritual needs that have to be fulfilled, too. Only if we keep balance in our lives, then we’ll feel both happy and complete.

"Unclear expectations lead to frustration!" Hahaha, our pre-marital counselor and pastor actually asked us both to number how many times per week we expected to have sex. The most awkward question of my life, but so eye-opening, because now we were entering a marriage with expressed expectations. Of course, we took this practice for every other part of our lives, but this is a big one for you almost-newlyweds!!!

@@JohnnyJPepen Oh that's pretty normal, did you both grow up kind of prudish? I don't mean that in a nasty way I just think it is odd that you were surprised. My husband and I waited until marriage and we talked about everything before we married without embarrassment.

@@sharroon7574 hahahah, yes an no. We grew up in the Hispanic Pentecostal church, and yes, some conversations (for the sake of guarding hearts) were always taboo. I didn't mean the conversation was awkward; it was more the question leaving our young pastor's lips hahaha. Caught us off guard for a moment, but like i said, it led to a lot of confidence going into the wedding and beyond. Good conversation; have a blessed holiday season!

I wouldn't say I have been taken advantage off because that's something serious but something did happen and it was nothing crazy. But if I hadn't stopped it then, I don't know what could have happened in the next minute. It was just a minor thing and it was from one of my family member. Thank you for doing this video. I'm a believer in God and I've looked up to you 2 for talking about this subject. I used to struggle with lust and believing in the Holy Spirit, He's forgiven me by dying on the Cross for all of us.
