Just got s61 mk3, gonna crack it open in a few days. Still waiting to see what sweetwater/native instruments will do about my mk2. I just learned ni is discontinuing the mk2, which seems a bit soon. I’ll be using the mk3 while I wait. I’m really hoping for some long-time happy happy joy joy with the mk3. If this goes sour, that will have been my last ni keyboard. Keeping my fingers and eyes crossed because I have collector’s edition + and I dig all that it contains, I use something from ni on every song. 🎹♥️

It believe it depends on when you purchase it. Sometimes they have deals that comes with komplete select or standard.

Fizz your videos are great but native instruments has fallen off a cliff. I was all in on them when the Maschine MK3 and the + came out but i haven’t touched that thing in about 6 months. they’ve haven’t released any expansions worth purchasing this entire year, the maschine needs a complete overhaul.

I agree completely! To release a controller without any Maschine support is crazy. Enough with the expansion packs its overkill at this point. Akai and their various MPC's with constant updates have left Maschine and NI in the dust.

@@FizzENT hiphop/r&b music, sample a lot of vinyl. I purchased an akai MPC One and it sat in a box for about a year because I loved the workflow of Maschine and didn’t want to learn a new DAW but then NI pretty much forced me to since they haven’t done anything with Maschine. I enjoy the MPC so much i recently just purchased the MPC Key, NI would have to do something earth shattering at this point for me to move back

Honestly, the best deal you can get will be a little over a year from now when they have a 50% off sale on Komplete 15… the sad part about this is people will jump on the deal now not realizing NI will be dropping another bundle 2 to 3 months from now.

I wouldn't even buy Native instruments. Too many synths that you will never use. Buy one Analog synth i.e. Pigments, Serum, ANA2 (it doesn't matter which one), and get some sample packs. You don't even have a drum trigger like Battery. You can map your audio to the grid.

If that’s the case you can buy the ones you need at $19. Komplete bundles might not be for everyone.
