I myself actually thought that the humans remains were used to make splendamin, but using the bodies to power up the ark could also be something. But still... I liked my idea of splendamin made of human bodies recycled, and that's why Dorothy absolutely refused to eat Spledamin, but accepted eating the chocolate. The problem wasn't that it came from the ark, but what it was made of.

I’m not sure humans are the power source. NIKKE’s might be a better candidate owing to how the mass produced models were pursued over the specialist models that did better in combat. If the Nikke’s are the fuel, it turns the idea of Goddess Squad not being allowed in the arc on its head. It wasn’t a betrayal… it was an act to save the Goddesses from being used as fuel while the mass produced models were brought online.

Yes that is indeed a possibility, but that would mean that the power source is closer to a regular Heretic than a powerful first generation Rapture. Since the fuel that first generation raptures use, are humans and animals according to Cecil.

yeah i agree that nikke are the fuel. not sure if the goddess squad was denied entry into the ark so they would be saved from becoming fuel tho. it's more likely the goddess squad was denied entry into the ark to save the ark's energy generator. red hood likely wanted to destroy the ark for this reason but we need the continuation of redash to know how it all went down.
