Special orders are so interesting to me, though I would be taking so much time to decide. I saw one in front of me at the Chanel opening last week with two colors of Hermes gold and the house orange. It was not my favorite color combination, but it is so neat to see different plays with color.

Yes! You’re absolutely right on choosing wisely on the color as you’re going to grow old with it ( for my SO I went for a Vert Criquet but I’m into Hermès colored leathers 😬😅! But yes I have heard in prior years sometimes the old price was honored. It was only $100 which is okay.

I'm about to pick up a special order that took about 10 months to come... the first time I ordered, the colors were changed on me and I had to choose new colors... but I chose similar to my original choices.. now when they told me that it is in, I'm traveling, but the bag price DID go up ... significantly, which it not that big of a deal, except I wasn't expecting it at all... have any of you heard of anything like that before?

I heard that if the SO final product comes out way too interesting and does not align to the brand image, they would still cancel the order. Just a rumor~ I hope the SA would let me know when it is going too unique (well that day has not even came yet). Can't wait to see your next SO.
