Tinie Tempah described the joy of owning physical music in the form of a record. It's a complete product that holds value both intimate, nostalgic, and financial, a digital music product is a strange and convenient product, that has no real appeal other than the code that creates the file. I'm NOT the SMARTEST Man in The World, BUT Ne-Yo was doing a little Code Talk and Verbal bobbing and weaving.😏 A person lacking knowledge CANNOT go to Congress to present a problem, represent a majority, and request a situation being rectified. The Music Industry WILL "Silence" you, if you're making too many waves. 😏 The Industry NOT The Fans, decide/control the Next Rising Star! Music Fans need to do their own research to gain an understanding of what goes on within The Industry! Artists signed to major labels are merely providing a false visual, supercars, lavish lifestyle, abundance of half naked women running around, designer clothes jewelry and carefree living! Meanwhile, The Artist is merely a BROKE record label slave, shackled & chained to his contract. Bank account in the high negatives because he overspent his Advance on material items, and has to pay back the record label through albums and songs!

Very obvious that Eric Wahlforss is behind Soundcloud and Hans-Holger Albrecht is behind Deezer. Aside from Soundcloud, none of the popular streaming services are managed with the artist in mind. Tinie, you're brilliant brotha. 🙌🏾 I'm not optimistic about top streaming services finding ways to serve artists. Streaming is marketing/promo at its best & the because concept has been gobbled up by a handful of mega enterprises, artists need to find another way to monetize their work & audiences.

The music industry works differently than it is shown there. The people sitting there mostly talk about streaming - to make streaming more popular. It does not go into the real problem. Many artists rely on such services - because they believe they can make money here. It's mostly just a rip off - streaming services. Anyone who wants to be known nowadays needs a lot of money for advertising and marketing. Target group and intention is artists who are in good faith who are still at the beginning of their careers and who go into debt. Ask yourself why artists from major record companies have millions and billions of clicks. Quite simply because they are generated - and have the money. The actual problem is not addressed. It is a fairy tale to make people believe that there is money to be made from streaming. A shame - but apparently good business so far. But more and more people will realize that streaming for Unknowns is just a rip off.

Start making real music that people want and need and people will embrace you and spend money to help you thrive instead of what the label wants and being greedy. Independent artist who really has talent and heart will be the future. Weed out all the fake artists that get in to get rich and famous, label pushes agenda through them, and all to get rich and brainwash the public. The people stopped listening and now they're going broke lol. Artists like Tom Macdonald and Dax are the now and the future. No label needed. Just talent, actual hard work, heart, and fans. Going back to what music started out being in the first place before greedy corporate labels got involved.

You should listen to this interview i heard with billy corgan..he was the lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins.. popular grunge era band..he said at the point when napster first came out and these record labels were seeing the future and how to secure their interests he had made a new band...well the language of the contract turned from a hardcopy type of explanation to some really weird shit.. Saying all forms of however you are going to listen to the song by means around or not invented yet, then went on to even cover different dimensions.. It gets out there..but its really interesting bc he was there and now sharing just how greedy they are for your talent

You have no sense of empathy for a person that's expressing change in their life. We must first face our own demons and conquer them in order to break free from their grasp. @@edwardwalden05 listen brother God can save anyone that desires to be saved. Here's the problem, they allow these humans with power to strike fear in their hearts and minds without realizing who's able to cover them. Remember this, cocaine addict got delivered because he/she made a conscience decision with a ready and made up mind. They also were willing to suffer whatever came after being hooked for so many years. A man's soul is more vital than riches and gold Because there surely will come a time that each and every human being walking on the face of this 🌎 will have to see God in the end. Peace to all and let's all get understanding, knowledge and wisdom before this 🌎 ends

@@jeremiahmcdowell7680 much respect to your beliefs, but i have to respectfully disagree with you. The only person that can save YOU is YOU! All you are saying is that God is in our minds, and if you have to believe in something enough for it to be real, it is not real. No disrespect, but your God is an evil God who believes is massacres. Your God is ok with Pastors using the lord to touch on little boys and girls. Your God is s selective God, who picks and chooses who gets to die and who doesn’t. Where was your God when there are over 60,000 missing girls in america? Does your God only save some ppl and not all ppl? And last but not least, what exactly does it mean to be saved or delivered?

how can ne-yo complain about not making the money he wants yet hires someone to do his social media? Obviously he has money to hire someone to do his social media. These artists are really out of touch of reality.
@StephH07113 жыл бұрын
You obviously are not a business owner. Neyo's business is music of which he is an artist, that is his area of expertise however he still needs a team to handle other aspects of which he is not proficient in such as marketing (social media), possibly accounting (taxes), styling (clothes/hair (well not him as he is bold), security, public relations, etc...do you think he can do that all himself...... no.....so he needs a team and a team needs to be paid....so if his income stream has been weakened due to a change of exchange of how his product is consumed of course he is going to complain. His income has just been lowered and the cost of production has increased. It seems like you may have missed the reality of the issue that he is hitting on.

The greedy ass producers got a punch in the face when nobody needed them anymore but the sheer amount of abuse and theft they were involved in for decades was so rampant and selfish that the industry swung so far In the other direction that now it's so decentralized nobody has the spotlight and now it's more like a room full of lights of varying brightness and you could find new artists every single day and still not know about 99% of the music being made by amateur artists so now people are starting to consider being stolen from worth getting that large scale exposure that labels offer and in turn giving you the ability to make your own money and if you can get enough of an audience you could argue that it's priceless because you could do so much more with an established fanbase than by yourself on KZbin and make 100x the money that a label could ever steal so now that we need them it's worth being stolen from but now they lost their power so they might not be able to get you that level of exposure any more

Fast forward six years later... I am a decent artiest, music composer and orchestrator. I only have a few hundred monthly listeners. Why, because people want to listen to stuff they got plugged from the big wigs anyway. There's no way to chance that unfortunately. The independent artists are still screwed over big time. And oh, quality doesn't matter. It's the dreaded same old 4 chird songswith autotune and trap that fills in the space of this generation. There's no youth culture anymore. The youth don't know that they are being spoon fed by the industry and as a matter of fact they don't care about any of this either. Why should they when they have instant gratitude from TikTok and Snapchat within reach? Strange world . . .
