Surprised nobody mentioned that Emily voiced Sabrina herself in Sabrina: The Animated Series, while Melissa voiced the aunties Zelda and Hilda. I LOVE that show, and wish it ran for more seasons! I'm even making my own animated Sabrina show that is a HUNDRED times better than Secret Life, due to being FAITHFUL TO THE COMICS AND ANIMATED SERIES! Great sister interview! And, great encouragement to learn CPR. When I was a teacher aide, they brought a CPR/AED/First Aid instructor in to get everyone trained to treat little ones, and I currently teach an exercise class, so every two years, I go through the CPR/AED/First Aid for adults (to treat anyone 12 and over). It's a course that the American Red Cross and others offer all year 'round, and a great thing for everyone to learn. Loved Amanda's character...It would have been great for her to have moved in with the Aunts when Sabrina went to College. The chaos and storyline opportunities would have been immense. Plus this would have meant that Hilda and Zelda would have remained relevant. Sabrina could have engaged with the family plus her college crowd etc. I remember thinking it then and still thought it now as I watched it all again. P.s Yes. Emily is a great actress. She was super popular amongst the fans.

At 5:09 Melissa you are a very good actress. You could take us through a range of emotions very quickly that were believable. You leaned into comedy which you were super good at...Especially in later seasons, your physical comedy skills were excellent. I recently re-watched Sabrina from start to finish so I know! lol.

The resemblance between Melissa and her sister Emily (did Melissa call her Emsicles?) is uncanny! Amanda was right when she remarked that Emily is a brunette version of Melissa (have you ever seen more gorgeous blue eyes?), right up to the mannerisms and voice. However, their personalities are quite different. Melissa is bubbly and shows her affection through compliments, whereas Emily is self-deprecating and demonstrates her affection by teasing. I thought it was quite interesting when they described their large family’s fighting style, hashing it out without ever having to say sorry. My favourite part of the episode was when Emily pulled up the speech that Melissa gave at her wedding in 2013 and used it as an example of some of the best advice she’d ever received. I also enjoyed hearing about how Emily almost got to co-star with Patrick Dempsey in a short film directed by Melissa; what a shame that their schedules didn’t match up! Finally, I wonder if Amanda was right when wondered if she is a placeholder for Melissa’s sister, especially during their trip to New York where they played toe tag…

Having grown up watching Clarissa Explains it All, Sabrina and continuing to watch through to 9 Dead and No Good Nick and Melissa and Joey… I HOPE MELISSA DOES NOTHING HER YOUR NECK!!! She has been someone onscreen (and behind, granted) that seems human. This is a rarity. The fact that she’s open about all of her fears (like singing live) and concerns (especially bodily like, when talking about her neck because it’s been filtered out of tv and onscreen and a considerable amount of actresses aired and filmed were the same measurements. It’s left people thinking anything but is less than. Seeing her laugh and explain her ‘nickname’ from laughing absolutely makes me smile and feel ok to be me.)

They’re kind of cool, and the screen reader from freedom scientific, Jj, A WS, does feature a shark swimming from one side of the screen to the other side to eat a smaller fish whenever the installation CD is put into the computer to install the screen reader. Does, in all caps, stands for job access with speech. Pretty cool, as it’s used by me with visual impairments.
