Then you wouldn’t have anybody buy your hardware Don’t bother putting out a console if you ever make a company because if you don’t have exclusive titles for it, nobody’s going to buy it I have to buy a Nintendo switch because I wanna play those games. I have to buy a PlayStation because I want to play those exclusive games if I could go ahead and on whatever I wanted, I would never buy anybody’s hardware people buy a platform because they want that unique experience with that unique set of games. If you can get that anywhere, there is no reason to buy that platform.

If it's coming to PS5, they're planning (of course this was always the case) major changes to the game. They can't just fix the bugs present and expect this game to take off on PS5 after the bad launch. I'm hype af as a PC player for this.

The initial launch was alright. Nothing major of bugs. It would have been your pc but as for me a Xbox player everything was fine. Especially when I’m on Xbox series s.

I gotta say, this is the most obvious news of the day, but it’s still industry shaking. We already know BGS intended Starfield to be a multiplatform game. We already know Xbox projected 10M sales on PlayStation ($700M at the base price before Sony takes their cut). Timed exclusivity seems to be their only way forward. For the life of me, I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t be interested in that kind of revenue.

Starfield is already a multi platform game. It’s on PC and Xbox. That’s multi platform. Also since PlayStation players have review bombed it negatively without even playing it, we actual Xbox players do not see the benefits of Microsoft releasing the game to PlayStation.

I have been enjoying StarField, I’m on XboxSX, but since the last update there is a bug which is preventing my character from sitting in the pilot seat of their ship. It is quite annoying and frustrating. This bug is currently ruining my experience in the game.

According to a lot of people you can't actually do anything with the ships in starfield so it shouldn't be a problem if you can't sit in the pilot seat.

I have a Series S and a PS5. You can guess which console I use more. I would absolutely buy Starfield for the PS5 if that was an option, although, having already paid full price for the game, I’d wait for a sale.

It would be very smart to put Indiana Jones everywhere day and date. They should do a preorder scheme like Starfield's as well. You want to fool as many people as possible before they realize that the senior narrative designer's only other writing job of note was Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Grab the cash and run away fast. Imagine just how much more money Starfield would have made on PlayStation at launch before people found out that the game was just a pointless expanse of rocks.

For example, when I saw the second Starfield showcase where I saw that the ships you build do nothing, I took the game off of my Steam wishlist. I saw pointless expanse of rocks from a mile away. It does admittedly take less effort to have blind faith in marketing. And unfortunately with gamers, it's not just a matter of fool me once shame on you. It's how do you bend over and grab the ankles for the thousandth time. You get what you deserve. Don't bankroll your own abuse.

They love to spread rumours against Xbox. Not a single piece of their fonts or official talks that "leak" too .. We only see anybody saying "reports".. Which ones? Because I tried to look and not found a single font saying an official statement by some exec.. Just like the rumours of Sony buying Rockstar and New Gow game everytime MS find a success in one of their events or some new announced W game. Its usual. Last year they said the Xbox will fail, Phil will leave Xbox and so.. haha those "insiders" is simple = luck. If one employee say to you that they heard that MS will release first party games on Sony and you are a journalism, guess what your headlines gonna be..if it is right, youre the trusted leaker.. Nostradamus is really a thing hahahaha try to say that youre an insider, photoshop some conversations with Phil (in this case we dont have any type of attempt to contact official sources) and say that Game Pass is coming to Nintendo with that "font" leaking to Tom at The Verge, a site that hates Xbox. Of course, gonna be a blast haha MS just made dev conference saying about EXCLUSIVES just to have A RUMOUR WITHOUT FONT to say they are lying and even Indiana that hasnt been launch yet and delays could occur, will get to PS5 hahahahaha man.. Its not a big deal if the rumours are true. I am playing Starfield on Gamepass Ultimate. If I paid full price I would feel a certain way. If Microsoft making Starfield multiplatform means Starfield gets more long term support and more polish, im all for it personally.

All I know is, if StarField DOES along with many other exclusives release on PS5, I’m never buying an Xbox again. There legit is just no need. It costs more money and takes up more space in my home. It’s better to just own my ps5 and Nintendo switch rather than having an additional console with no added value

It's not just Starfield. Other big games like Gears are coming to PS too. The exclusive business model is dead in the water. Unlike Sony, Microsoft like money. Given Sony currently, and for the foreseeable future, has a relatively limited release schedule of exclusives, it means that the majority of the hard earned cash of PS owners will be going to Microsoft instead of Sony.

imo adding SF to PS5 makes sense financially. PS5 is the hottest console selling extremely well and it would add millions of players to the SF ecosystem. Hate to say it, but Xbox might become a SEGA over time just becoming a Dev and a way for other playforms to get content. That is down the road. Everyone knows Xbox has never been able to cultivate exclusives like PS does. Time will tell until we get an official announcement either way.

As far as I can tell, Xbox Series X/S doesn't have true exclusives - all of the titles for them seem to also be available for PC. Thus I never bothered buying the latest gen Xbox. As of writing this comment, I have a PS5 console on the way (mostly for the sake of FF7rb and possibly also FF16), but since I already bought Starfield on Steam, I don't plan to buy a PS5 version. I haven't decided yet whether I will buy the Indiana Jones game, but if I do, it will most likely be on Steam.

Microsoft is slowly moving away from the console ONLY gaming. They want to be a games service. They want there games everywhere to make as much money as possible. They want xbox gamepass on every device like TV's and Phones. starfield is probably going to be on playstation eventually. They also want hi fi rush on switch

Imagine all the profit from releasing on other platforms. Imagine the next Xbox having a 4090rtx subsidised by Xbox. I don’t think the ps6 could compete since sony cannot afford to subsidise the hardware. You will get a $1000 Xbox for $600 thanks to these Multiplatform releases. I don’t think people understand the gravity of this situation and how it could destroy the PlayStation as a brand.

For me its not a big deal. We still don't know what is in the cards This might be extremely good for us as Xbox users. More cash in. So more money in development for new projects. Its not like gamepass is going away for us that use gamepass. Playstation still need to buy the games on Playstation/ Nintendo. And remember gaming technology is in a big change.
