Matthew, John, and Revelations are the best books in the Bible for me, it's clear they weren't modified if any at all by the churches/religions/government before being distributed to the world. If you can get ahold of some Ethiopian old testaments those are as old as 3500 years, should be unaltered. Me as a Christian I keep in mind that the Bible is not like the Quran, basically unaltered over centuries with the original semitic (Arabic) language still intact. If you can find the original books in their original languages that would be a much better option than reading ones poorly translated into modern languages such as English. I have read the Bible, Quran, Hadith, Torah, Talmud, Kabballa, and Apocrypha, plus to find parralism, read some satanic prophecies and Egyptian writings. I found the only acceptable material to read is found in the Bible and Quran. It's also my belief that if the God/Ya-Allah you worship is the same God found in both Christian and Islam, and you believe God sent a savior which was killed instead of accepted by the government, church, hateful mobs, and military, then you have been saved. Names do not matter since they have been changed or lost over the millennium, plus as we all know religious texts use symbolism and parables, so one should never read it quickly nor literally.
