Great review, Chick, mostly I agree. The feel of the rotary elements is superb and very close to the original, including push and pull. The display is 100% like the original, I assume it's the Kavster display. The quality of the lettering and labeling is outstanding, although it should be engraved. The push buttons are to clicky, they're not in the real world. I definitely don't like the black frames around them, as they are unrealistic. Same applies to the frames of the display and the unit itself. The backlight is a bit to much orange, should be a really warm white instead. Besides that, the unit is of a very high quality and probably the best FCU for simmers money can buy at this time and I am looking forward to receiving the EFIS panels. I am sure you will have a look at them, too.

TBH Priced at £100 in the uk preorder, i think thats actually cheep. yes its 100 pounds but the next closest product is 3 times the price and some are even as high as 1.5k so i hope they make some profit so they can keep pumping out more products for us to enjoy.

I received mine today. Very solid construction and looks great, especially when lit. Slightly tricky software installation and with Easyjetsimpilots useful video setup I had it running flawlessly in a couple of hours😕. I rather stupidly wasted 30 mins trying to get the buttons to work, i.e. Loc, Ap1, exped, A/thr etc. but no way would they light up. Eventually realised these buttons don't work whilst parked on the runway Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What an idiot... Honestly, the short flight from EGLL to EGCC was the most enjoyable I have had in a while. Absolutely mind-blowing experience and it makes a huge difference. I'm hoping the new EFS can be bought individually because lets face it, you don't really need both. Absolute bargain.

Its a real shame the software can be tricky to install and its not user friendly..Infact, the update software, for me does not work thus am still on version one.. I do not agree with you, the software was NOT a breeze that could be misleading..... ..I could not get it past the firewall of windows, thankfully my son is very computer knowledgeable . .Also even professional simmers /reviewers like Easy jet sim pilot had problems re understanding software so I don't know where you get plug and play....Unless version two is? Also wish they had made it to fit Logitech and Honeycomb fittings or made a add on cabinet to mount it on these, a big mistake, and surely somebody could print this as a add on purchase...All that being said its a really great buy and I love it and Winwing.

I'm afraid that if the Saitec fcu nearly not work with most planes in msfs2020. This beauty will have the same problem connected to my pc. I wait a bit longer for user reviews.

Winwing is nowhere near "top of the line". Generally low quality and poor customer service

@@williamhawkins9156 Imo the miniFCU is a far superior product. Both in terms of build quality, general feel and also for the software portion. Then there's also the more higher end options, but those require some more serious investing.
