It's interesting to hear Musa's take on the credentials that got him in the door and how he'd not even be worthy of a rejection letter before, especially as I reflect on my own unanswered letters and emails. I wonder how he managed to keep from being jaded and disenfranchised with the process.

It's an old conflict, this between those who manipulate word and those who produce/do things. The Mind and Hand movement of the late 19th century had to goal to teach both the mind (theory) and the hand (practical/useful trades). "It is possible for the mind to indulge in false logic, to make the worse appear the better reason, without instant exposure. But for the hand to work falsely is to produce a misshapen thing-tool or machine -which in its construction gives the lie to its maker. Thus the hand that is false to truth, in the very act publishes the verdict of its own guilt, exposes itself to contempt and derision, convicts itself of unskillfulness or of dishonesty. -Charles H. Ham, Mind and Hand: manual training, the chief factor in education (1886)

This was exceptional, the most profound line of thinking happening in America today. Would love to know how to help advance this company’s mission and understand more about how they’re driving impact within academic institutions and corporate America where you have to go along with the smoke in mirrors liberal agenda or die.

Better in which way? In every possible way? Better at minimizing pain, better at fighting disease, better at living, better at being human, better at dying? I've never met a human that was simply better.

It doesn't need to be justified because it's the natural state of the world. Real adults just get over their infantile egalitarian fantasies.

Production is naturally individualistic and wants monopoly. The resistance naturally wants to spread ideas and not productivity.
@prikkeldraad71125 күн бұрын
The “natural state of the world” isn’t natural inequality, but group based cartel behavior, where tiny groups of people (such as woke liberals in elite positions) aggressively collaborate to keep out outsiders (which coincidentally is what Musa Al-Gharbi’s book is about). You in favor of that?

I think he speaks of the irony that wokeness is a form of oppression. Exactly what it purports to fight against. This means that the left is not woke to its own oppressive tendencies, and therefore they/we have never been woke. Really interesting idea.
