It seems to me like casting stasis on the front tanks actually worked against the protoss. Those stasis'd tanks got on the way of his army and forced it to clump up so the tanks in the back could destroy them. Stasis seems like it would be much stronger against the back tanks while the zealots and goons deal with the front ones!

Huh... That's not a bad idea. Stasis the BACK LINE, to cut off the Terran retreat, then you just splatter the Terran against the stasis wall. Or even if you can't reach the back, stasising the sides of the army would be better, so your zealots don't get stuck.

Question: if the carriers are clumped, would not a surprise 20 or 30 valks destroy them all? I know the splash doesn't hurt interceptors, but on the carriers themselves?

@@adrianbundy3249 Valkyries are pretty bad against large air units. They are meant for small air units. BUt seriously, their splash doesn't hurt inceptors? That's BS.

​@@lilarrin1220Because they attack multiple times their damage is penalized by armor twice, carrier base armor is 4, valk base atk is 6, so with each volley they do... two damage per hit, not to mention shields. Might as well dump all that gas into goliaths or vessels at that point.

It's a good strategy game and it's free, which is more than SC2 was when you had to pay for 3 different installments. And more importantly it's actively developed and improved, unlike SC2 abandoned by Blizzard. Most of the negative reviews on steam are from those that played for 20 mins, there is no way I would take them seriously.

Wraiths almost killed all the carriers, he started like 10 full health?? 10x Carrier value: 5500min 2500gas 12x Wraith value: 1800min 1200gas Killingem all woulda won the game, way better than a goliath surely screwed death attempt, nice try! Hi Artosis do you think ghosts can be a counter to carriers? If you cut some tank (and make some vultures instead) you can lockdown the carriers in open and then finish them with goliaths, even if you lock just 4-5 carriers halving their number would be a victory.

I don't think I've ever seen a pro Terran player use ghosts. I tried it myself before but I only got off 2 lockdowns before all 4 ghosts were killed, and 1 of the lockdowns hit a friggin interceptor lol. Imo they are too fragile, range is too short, cost too much research, and ability is too micro intensive and costs too much energy to use. Science vessel is a far better way to spend gas.

They are pretty good. Artosis killed many carriers with a group of wraiths. Very cost efficient. Also Protoss has terrible detection

Wraiths are good vs carriers with Goliath support. They are pretty good stand alone, but throw 4 corsairs or a high Templar in there - you'll wish you just had more Goliaths.

Battle Cruisers + Science Vessel Shields + Yamato cannon is a lot better than Wraiths. If you can keep some SCVs under the BCs to keep repairing, even better.
