As a person with a club store, I will say a few of the things are true. Herbalife has some really weird rules I don't agree with, I was told they have some of them as they didn't want to be sold as main retail at places like Walmart. However when people come into our shops, our menu clearly explains how many calories, carbs, and caffeine is in each of our drinks. I have no problem giving people our containers where they can look for themselves at what exactly is in our drinks. I mean you haven't gone to the shops or tried the drinks, so this was just a review about what you think clubs would be like not actually what they are. I never once try to get someone to become a distributor when they walk in the door, I just go over our drink menu with them and answer any questions they have. We offer quantity discounts and let people know they can become a preferred member under us if they ask about getting higher quanties or can't make it in the shop very often. People in very rare cases have had liver issues, but are far less than someone drinking something like lotus drinks or monster energy. ETC

So because it's supposedly less than monster energy drinks it's ok that it causes liver issues? 😬 Do you pitch that to your customers? 🤔

Herbalife is a specialized nutrition, that only targets people that want a different lifestyle. Our shake and teas are far more nutritious than Starbucks and other MLM businesses. I’m also a dietitian and I tell you one thing, I’d rather have my clients( majority, are busy people) to have a quick grab and go and to get at least somewhat of a nutrition intake. We care about our community and it’s like any other job, We distributors have to make a living and if it’s getting our customers to become better and healthier individuals it a win, win. These places are a way for the distributor to sell their products and get enough product volume happening everywhere month for their commissions to be kid on what they sell. Sure they can recruit people but is not why they do it. It’s one of the reasons and options available to the customers. So if you want real food as you say, the. Ask for fruits and veggies to be added. this is a sales system for the distributors to sell products vi high volume consumption and make. Obey with it earning 35-50% revenue /profits from each sale. It’s not illegal. It’s not wrong. It’s a sales shop. If people want to sign up to get a discounted shake then that’s their prerogative and decision. The distributors benefit from the volume of products they use to sell in their shops and to get their promotions. Like really, you don’t like them recruiting but you also don’t what joe bloke to sell products and make a living from selling either? All you’re doing in this video is regurgitating what other anti mlm have said without nothing new or nothing of value to say. -“It’s not real food, it’s protein powders” you say. I can say the same thing about Vega, GNC, warrior and other protein powders out there. And no. I’m not a distributor. I’m not a client. I have consumed their shakes and got the shake product at retail twice from a distributor. That’s it. All these videos are so biased and honestly so old. I’ve noticed that many so-called “smoothie shops” in my area are actually fronts for Herbalife MLMs. I first realized this when my gym recommended a place offering zero-calorie drinks that supposedly tasted like gummy bears or Skittles. Curious, I visited and saw them mixing powders from Herbalife packages with water to make the drinks. It struck me how many people are being misled by these tactics. These shops market their products as weight-loss solutions or energy boosters with candy-like flavors, but in reality, they’re just selling Herbalife products, which to me taste quite artificial. Whenever someone mentions these places, I make sure to inform them that it’s all Herbalife products. It’s astonishing how widespread this manipulation has become.

I own a club. We do about 800 to 1500 a day. One of my customer has lost 87lbs because he wanted to go sky diving. The products work but again you can lose weight with any diet. You just gotta be dedicated. I make 3k a month just from Herbalife and that’s without my nutrition club. My mentor is on pres team and makes 20k every month no matter what. He sold his club about a year ago. Him and his wife make 20k every month for the rest of their life with no club. I can see how you can see the pyramid scheme but Americans go to work every day for a company that doesn’t belong to them and get thousand upon thousands of dollars taking from them in the form of “ taxes”. I think that’s more concerning than a a pyramid scheme. You say you’re gonna be nice and stuff but yet you keep using words like sketchy and we are all in strip malls and it’s dark. I’ve had chiefs players come in all the time, fox 4 news people come in, Brittany Mahomes( Pat Mahomes wife) does Herbalife, cristiano ronaldo does Herbalife, Kyle Hamilton of the Baltimore ravens does Herbalife. You bash us but why don’t you do a video of Kellogg’s and how much paint thinner is in there. There’s sooooo many foods that literally have poison in them but your bashing Herbalife?? Either way, it’s changed my life and many others too from losing weight and that’s a success in my book. There’s so many places in strip malls so idk why you’re pointing that out like if a business is in a strip mall then it’s bad lol it’s not easy to afford a house, afford a building, afford 2,000$ a week in products, paying employees , buying cups, straws, stickers, water which I have a reverse osmosis system so when you get anything from my club you get the best water. I got TVs so people can hang out and have their tea and a protein ball. I have many football players of the chiefs and just all around successful people hang out in my club. I worked my butt off to build that place and to have you say negative things that I don’t think you know too much about. You’re a diet expert and you’re taking about us being in strip malls which has nothing to do with diet lol I think you’re angry that people are doing these things and not coming to see you. You’re talking about Herbalife rules lol our clubs are to lose weight and people do. You’re talking about the looks of a club and the “ weird names” and nothing about how the products help you lose weight lol I think you’re a little jealous in my opinion…. You see that fewer people are coming to see you and they’re going else where

You can't use Herbalife name bc every shop is individually owned by distributor. You don't pay for members to consume the products at the shop. You pay for what you consume. You can find the products information at the Herbalife website. You don't know nothing but that you don't know nothing. You don't even know how to do research. If you are a dietitian, you should know about supplements. So I have been working at 3 loaded nutrition stores in my area for 3 years and some of the "facts" that you have provided in this video are not accurate. Any energy drink can give you liver problems because of the excess of caffeine. People get liver problems from drinking excess amounts of coffee. This is not something that is just a loaded tea thing. The e-mail address is so that we can e-mail receipts to the customer if they should ask for it. Herbalife does not e-mail customers randomly, that is only if they request a receipt, which we do not provide paper receipts, so the alternative is e-mailing receipts. The goal is not to "rope" anyone into becoming a distributor and we actually do not provide that information unless it is requested by a customer. This business is not ran like it used to be. This business is no different that going to starbucks and getting a coffee. I am so sorry that you are so against MLM, but these shops are not a part of trying to "reel" in distributors. Our goal is to make healthier options for energy and nutrition. We make up recipes ourself and we always give out any nutrition information that the customer wants or needs for their own personal diets. Just because you could not find this information online, does not mean that you can't simply go in the club and ask. We are very transparent with our customers and I am appalled that you would bash all of these family owned businesses just because of the information that the internet has provided you with. Our small towns don't have big places like Starbucks and we are just a small family owned business that is trying to grow our business and succeed. Please try asking an owner of the information that you are looking for instead of saying that our shops are being "sketchy". Since each club has their own unique recipes based on what the customers needs and wants are out of their nutrition, each stores nutritional facts are different. That is why there is no big fact sheet that would be accurate for each location. We do however provide any information upon request. It is like going to your small local coffee shop and expecting for them to have the same nutritional facts as a coffee shop in another area that is owned by different people. Yes, they use coffee beans, but their recipes are not the same. Yes, we use the same products as other loaded tea shops, but the recipes are different. Thanks.

I am a very responsible consumer who reads and even searches for what the ingredients are in the products. I have only been amazed for how amazing the ingredients are. Well a lot of them are opened by small families who are starting their own small business, I don’t think it’s wrong for them to open a healthy smoothie shop. Also, it’s a networking market I studied network marketing and I actually majored in college for network marketing business it still exists b exude they were able to PROVE in a court of law that they indeed are not a pyramid scheme. I feel like your information is based on more of your own opinion than facts. It’s not for everyone, because it has to be for a person who knows about entrepreneurship. It’s a business plan for people who don’t have MONEY to spend 100’s of thousands on opening a business. The rules are there because Herbalife does not take responsibility for people creating waffles and shakes with their products, because they only sell the plant based proteins and vitamins to their distributors not to the public that’s why it’s a rule. This is all false what your saying bro why are lying? My best friend who I also encouraged her as a BUSINESS MAJOR THAT network marketing is a good business idea and way to go especially if you don’t have so much money that you want to invest. I know this business as a business major I’ve done my research on this and no they are not charging the shakes and smoothies and making up distributors? Lol no they have an app? Hello where they charge the customer and only the customers information is registered as a customer consumption sometimes one time consumption and some of them become regular customers. By the way you are not mentioning the fact that they did win in court against the allegations of pyramid scheme with evidence, and none of the vitamins and supplements you uy form any company is not FDA “approved” because they are not medicine or food. Did you know that? And also, you are bringing down a small business ownersً acting like the company is out to get you, when seriously it’s small families who are ”owning” these cafes. So what your doing is not right because your giving your opinion on something you don’t even know, you haven’t even BEEN in one and you want to judge? That’s called discrimination no wonder people Hispanic people hate white liberals y’all are the most racist discriminating people that exist. I became a member and I haven't felt this good in a long time. I'm on my menstrual cycle right now and I have endometriosis. This is the first time I have had zero pain on my period. The only thing I've been taking is herbalife collagen, herbalife lift off, and there metabolism boosting lemon tea concentrate but I mix it all together then add a bit of orange g2 powder for hydration then I mixe blue starburst powder and it gives a great flavor.

The “Deep Dive” and “Review” of these places doesn’t include actually visiting one. You say your assessment of them comes from “what people have told you” but because you didn’t visit one or a couple of them you didn’t get testimony from customers that maybe were helped by these places. Most of these rules you say aren’t even true. There’s a few of these around my house and they all have visible interiors. None of the windows or doors are covered. And if they’re not allowed to show or mention Herbalife branding then how do they convince you to sell Herbalife? The ones I have been to are very open about what’s in their offerings. Not to mention there are many many “pyramid schemes” out there such as Mary Kay or Tupperware. Just because they don’t have a “normal” business model doesn’t mean their products don’t work.

Well said. Global leader in weight management and nutrition. Millions and millions of people helped over 42 years, Worlds number one meal replacement protein shake. Awards won over the years. Many people making a damn good income as well as many earning supplemental income, living the life they choose to design. You don't get to be as successful as Herbalife by being a scam. I have been enjoying their teas for a few weeks now. I live in middle Tennessee and have been to several shops. All of the shops have clear and present windows that you can see inside. The shop closest to me not only has his Herbalife containers on the shelf for you to see, but he also sells the tea kits for you to take home. I have never been asked to join a club or pay a membership fee. I just pay for the tea and go home.

My girlfriend and I have seen a couple of these pop up around us in Michigan and the red flag for me was how they all use the same brand (Herbalife) and how they seem to look very similar. The employees I’ve run into were all very nice and no one has pushed the pyramid scheme on to us. We’ve visited two different locations twice and I observed the way they made the shakes as they tasted great and I wanted to learn to make my own as a healthier alternative to a milkshake. Now to my question. It seems that the smoothies are made with water, ice, and their protein powder as a base flavor with some Torani syrups to add flavor. Each category of shake is under one of their protein powder flavors (Vanilla, Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, etc.) and then syrup and some other flavored powders to create the different flavors, such as Cinnamon Roll or Buckeye (pb & chocolate). I’m assuming the same flavor could be achieved with another more trusted protein powder brand (bio steel, gnc, etc) that is NSF certified and then water, ice, and a flavored syrup without the risk of Herbalife’s sketchy track record. Can you recommend a protein powder brand to me (college athlete) and some ways to create a similar product with healthier ingredients? Great video, I’m glad I did some research as I have found nothing but skepticism about these seemingly healthy shops. The red flags were definitely there, but I feel bad for the owners who may not know fully what they are doing.

i am a distributor since Jan and i am also a registered nurse. so 1. There are many people who cannot tolerate many things. people who are lactose don’t blame the milk manufacturer for their upset stomach. 2. The nutrition label is on every product sold as well as the info on the website so weird products…false. 3. Please tell me what restaurants has clear windows all around so you can see through it. 4. if you opened the shop to sell HN products why must you sell other stuff.? no one forced anyone to do anything. we might introduce you to the business side but you are free to buy and not become a distributor. Only naive people call things MLM and make it a bad thing. Working for a company that will write you up or terminate you for needing time off is better? i’d much rather have time freedom and make an income as well helping people change their lives and have a healthy relationship with nutrition. i’m assuming you provide services for free, because it sounds like you are using scare tactics to get people to follow you. Anyway if anyone here was thinking about Herbalife i encourage you to go to the actual website and do your research, not someone who is already bias. Have a great day

It actually helped me to gain weight, I'm 17 i had been struggling with an eating disorder and the products actually helped me to like food again, i drank a shake with probiotic and fiber because i needed it, i gained weight. the products aren't just for weight loss but you can use them for weight gain and/or mussel gain! It's improved my life because before it i almost died i was 89 lbs and now im up to 118 and that's pretty good for a 17 year old athlete. again, i was NOT TOLD to join anything or sign up for anything but i happen to have ASKED on MY OWN TIME how i could have the shakes at home (as it was a 40 minute drive from my house) and they signed me up with a coach. I’ve been on both spectrums of this and I think it’s hilarious how many people say they ask for this and that when going to a shop. I understand why obviously and while some shop owners don’t take the time to know their products most do. That being said, I’ve been going to a nutrition club over my local gnc and dq and have personally gotten amazing results. I was a stickler to them but everyone’s different. I’d rather you tell people to form their own opinion or express that you don’t know how the company actually works before giving a review.

First of all most of what she said is completely false. No one is force or pushed into anything. I have been a Herbalife consumer for over 10 years and just opened up my shop 3 weeks ago. All because I choose too. No one pushed me or tried to convince me other wise and yes this is a business is a pyramid but you also a percentage on retail like any other restaurants, retail store does. First thing you have to think as a consumer is what your body can have and can’t have. There are peanut allergies, caffeine allergies, vitamins allergies. So make sure you ask for the ingredients listing if you have any of these. Also you may not know if you have intolerance to any minerals or vitamins until you get a reaction. So every one is different. Know your body!!! Some people ca. complaint of stomach pain. Well you may have gastric problems and it is a normal reaction to the aloe just lower the dosage cause aloe is like alcohol on a wound. Inform yourself take things in moderation and educate yourself about your body needs and limitations. This video is unfair for the many people that can actually benefit from this products.
