We very carefully printed up a bunch of fake 20 bills on the computer. We wrinkled them and made them look very real. The wallet disappeared in the hotel, we think in the elevator. We didn't see what happened when they tried to use the counterfeit money!

Possibly. I think its possibly just a case of seen it before, plus, its quite possible that he knows the guys doing the scams. Maybe he knows them in a kind of "Say something you're Dead / Business will go down etc" kind of way, or maybe he is the one who does it fridays? We simply dont know. I hope that he is simply an innocent seller who saw them bump and didnt notice a scam was going on... Hey... It does happen!

When I was in Argentina I was in cordoba so not many tourists were around, i had my phone out for a minute and a couple came up to me and told me i should put it away because it wasnt safe. I personally havent experienced robbery abroad, but its very real and very scary

This kind of scam is not prevalent in Singapore... The laws there actually punish thieves. Petty theft results in jail time or getting hit with a cane! Seems to work. as Singapore is one of the safest cities in the world.
