Imagine you're the sun. You need nothing. Your energy is from within. You have explosions of power from inside out and the more you give the "hotter" you become. You realise you're not a planet that needs to take heat to survive like the earth. You have everything you need and the more you give the hotter you get. You enjoy the process of giving, the process of having those explosions of heat. You are the centre. You are the cause. How do you do this well, to be at the cause you can't be a taker so whenever you meet someone take your focus off how do i look what is this person thinking of me and put it on i want to spread good energy with this person i want to brighten their day. Your intent is clear I'm here to brighten your day um here for you. You're sharing your energy with the person. The trick tho is if you're expecting something in return it's not giving, it's a business deal. It's still a take. You have to learn how to share good energy with people and enjoy the process of sharing your energy. Hope this helps, would love to hear your thoughts on this tyler.

EDIT: I think this has in a way been a big blindspot in this community. The focus on the former approach gets guys going and out of apathy. I'd say a good way to establish a good "being" or positive frame, is to consistently have your actions and the thought process / philosophy behind those actions conform to that frame. In a step model: -study/internalise a frame/worldview (most common is the "alpha" or "high value" frame) -regularly act out behaviours and build habits that conform to your new worldview (including how you actively perceive your environment) -consequently, rather than having to consciously practise techniques, you will reactively have behaviours that conform to the new positive frame and have internalised the worldview so when new situations that call for original action occur, you will naturally know what to do in accordance with that frame Hope this helps.

Same underlying message in a lot of Owen latest videos. In my experience he’s totally right. State is the foundations of the house. Technique is more like the decorations. If state isn’t right, techniques won’t be effective. When I “try” to apply techniques I’m wooden & unnatural. When I just absorb a technique & allow it to become part of who I am. It just comes through in the moment naturally. I’m not “using” it, it is just part of who I am. It’s like having a RAM upgrade in my computer rather than a new mouse.

I see this a lot in myself and codependency, and what Ross Rosenberg refers to as Self Love Deficit Disorder. I was basically trained to use techniques to win love. because of my "core shame" of self. I've noticed those same techniques manifest AND backfire in my face in how i relate to other people. I found myself covering myself up with technique and sometimes winning sometimes losing, and it was reinforcing this false "self". Once i started just being and using my release muscles..it stopped starving my AUTHENTIC self of the love and care that it was soooo desperately craving.

So I thought about this for the past week or two or however long it's been since the video has been put up and I came to this conclusion When your hormones and emotional systems are in balance, you naturally act out the right social behaviors. Now, if you try to act them out on purpose when you're actually out of balance, it creates The Uncanny Valley effect because of what are called honest signals. So the real solution is to do whatever you need to do to get your emotional systems in check. Being socially purposeful is important but it's like a pyramid, I must have the foundation correct. Something like that, I didn't take the time to word that perfectly

Tyler, i've been able to attract beautiful itelligent lady doctors just from sharing genuine moments of relaxed being, virtually well timed grounded eye contact alone. People are starved for human moments. You guys should really listen to Tyler here. Slide.

Owen LOVE this content! - I think many of us would really appreciate and learn a lot from a video on control and release muscles though. Thank you.

Owen, i cant keep saying thank you. thats not enough. all this amazing stuff and we're just value leashing. need to get my money up so i can say thank u in a action way not just verbal. Timestamp below 0:00 intro 0:30 explains difference from technique and frame - ( i learnt this from james marshall from tnl- he calls it understanding the principle over technique. interesting how successful people have the same insights) talks about how when he was younger he used to be frustated when people told him about the being frame as oppose to practical techniques he could immediately implement and see progress. vs his evolution to now when he values the being grameor understanding the principles talk about david d- eban pagan advising him and he thinking eban had bad intentions 3:35 examples of a being frame- lebron james 6:10 owen had already heard this information but he couldnt recieve because ... 9:00 the benefits of the being paradigm 9:50 why these benefits will happen uncanny value effect 13:50 the inherient underlying frame within using techniques are very detrimental the importance of self love and unconditional love 18:00 the book the bagagavita- crazy story but focus on the principles- u have the right to the action but not the fruit of the action 20:50 where to start 22:42 how owen helps newbies 25:00 when u get a technique follow the trail of gold back or the being. Or , when u get the technique, focus on the overall principle of it 25:30 examples of positive frames Owens your vids are beautiful to watch! sometimes all the scenary goes over my head and i dont notice but the energy of the vid still reaches me in my cloud of haze. thanks brother.
